I had a bad experience with Gilbert. He did an ok job on the work, but when I asked him to return to re-​caulk around the shower fixture he became rude and combative. Since he removed the caulk in the first place, I considered it part of finishing the job, but he said my husband should do it. I’m sorry, but I didn’t pay $ 1800 to do it myself. Very disappointing. He said he works in my neighborhood «all the time», but he couldn’t spare 20 minutes to finish the job. He even went as far as to say «I did you a favor and saved you thousands of dollars». I’m not sure how receiving money for a job constitutes doing me a «favor.» Poor customer service, but worse was the tone and attitude he took. Watch out! He turned from charming to a venomous viper in a matter of moments.
