Selection seemed worse than other 99 Cent stores, but at the same time the employees seemed friendlier. So it’s a toss up. I’ll need to go go back to get a better read on the place. So perhaps 3.5 Stars for now?

Once again, I am blown away by the sheer amount of things you can purchase for less than $ 1. It reminds me of the Russell Peters joke about shopping an Asian-owned business and how the owner explains to him the logic of saving 50 cents here, 50 cents there, and now you have a whole dollar with which you can buy more stuff. The store is really big, clean, and well-lit. They had like a pound of potatoes for $ 1 at the entrance. They had canned goods, bras, stockings, socks, floss, hair accessories, household cleaning supplies, and even gardening equipment. As usual, nothing is over 99 cents! Again, I’d be iffy about made-in-China products, but if you need something cheap that is not going into your’s or a child’s mouth, this is a convenient place to go.
