Fantastic job! My movers were on time, efficient, hard working, professional and courteous. They did a great job moving me from the Sugar Land area into Houston. Extremely reasonably priced, and very easy to schedule with. Everything arrived damage free. Would highly recommend them!

Very good and professional movers. They showed up on time. My large items were wrapped and all three men worked tirelessly to complete my move. I’m not sure why some of the other reviews are bad as my experience was top notch. There was no language barrier and they had 713 mover shirts on to show their professionalism.

I found out about this moving company through an advertising business card that was slid under all of the apartment doors my apartment complex. The business card advertised free use of wardrobe boxes, free padding and shrink wrap, and offered a 10% discount if the card was presented. After calling several moving companies in Houston for a studio apartment moving quote, I decided to go with 713Movers since their 2 movers for 2 hours rate was the most competitive and all the things advertised on their business card seemed like a good deal. 2 movers showed up on time in a Mrs. Baird’s truck. I was skeptical when I met the movers since the truck didn’t look professional and didn’t have the company’s name 713Movers on the sides of the truck. I felt a bit relieved when the movers’ shirts had 713Movers printed on them. I asked the movers if they brought wardrobe boxes and they said yes, and then I asked if they brought padding and shrink wrap and they said no and instead they brought some moving blankets. All of my belongings were already packed in boxes and ready to be moved, yet approaching 2 hours not everything had been loaded into the truck and this was a studio apartment (not even a 1 bedroom) that I was moving out of! When it came time to move my clothes from the closet, I asked the mover again if he brought any wardrobe boxes and he had to call his wife to translate and the answer was that no wardrobe boxes were brought along. This was completely contradictory to what he told me earlier. One of the main reasons I chose to use 713Movers was because of the free use of wardrobe boxes, so I didn’t need to pack up all of the clothes hanging in the closet. The mover offered to wrap up my clothes in the dirty moving blankets… ewww! I obviously declined and said I would just take care of moving my clothes in the closet on my own. The entire move took 3 hours and really should have taken only 2 hours. After the movers left, I noticed that some of the edges of my furniture were chipped and 3 items (full length mirror, two 12×36 frames with pictures inside) were missing. If my furniture would have been shrink wrapped as advertised, then I believe they wouldn’t have been chipped. I called the company and reported the 3 missing items, and was told that a $ 30 check would be mailed to me, of which I never received.
In summary, I would not recommend this moving company. They make false promises and have slow service. Don’t let their false advertisement of the free use of wardrobe boxes and free padding and shrink wrap entice you to use them.

My best friend said they were perfect in helping him move to his current house so maybe this was just an outlier of a bad experience. That being said, I called and got a good competitive quote for 160 for 2 movers for 2 hours. I was told the movers would be there anytime between 1 to 3 pm. About 3:15 rolls around, no notice that they were running late, so I give them a call to get an ETA and after a few tries the person on the phone says he will call the driver and get back to me. The driver who spoke little English managed to communicate to me that they were still on their last job and would finish around 5 – 6. They show up around 6:10, and we’re completely moved in around 8. They did come with an extra mover which was good, but offered no compensation for being late, nor at anytime did anyone from the company apologize for not being there on time. I do understand there is a variable nature to moving and move times are approximate. However, having to be available from 1 – 6 for no reason really pisses me off when I have a million errands to run. I’m not sure if they are overbooking, or not asking enough questions to get an accurate estimate of time to complete a job, but showing up 3 hrs past the latest time quoted is unacceptable. It was dark out by the time we arrived at my new place and all the errands I would have liked to run weren’t happening. The movers were very quick, took good care of items, and they seemed efficient especially with an extra mover. I still tipped 30 on top of the 160 because they did a good job and I’m sure it wasn’t their fault the last job took a long time.
If I were to use them again, would probably try to schedule the first move in the day so I don’t have to deal with the scheduling issue.
SUMMARY: Good price, came really late, bad communication, efficient movers.

My brother told me about these guys and so I gave them a call to have them move me about 2 years ago. I have used them 3 times now and have always been extremely happy with the service provided. I had the same crew twice and they actually remembered me! They are very reasonably priced and the guys worked very efficiently. The first time they came I was a little concerned because I thought the guys wouldn’t be able to handle the armoire in my bedroom. They were really careful and made sure to wrap it up with the pads and plastic they use and before I knew it, it was wrapped and in the truck. The only advise I can give is to make sure to call ahead to make the appointment. I waited too long on my last move and they were booked in the morning so I had to take a late appointment and it was an arrival window. They got there within the time frame but I prefer to get things out of the way early in the morning. Oh they also bring you wardrobe boxes that you can use and they dont charge you for them. It’s pretty neat.
