This place is AMAZING! I’ve been coming here for lunch for about three to four months, now. I come maybe once every two weeks and it is DELICIOUS! The catfish Poboy is probably my favorite! Crispy and well seasoned breaking and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The fries are seasoned really well. No complaints and definitely recommend it!

The best place my girlfriend and I have been to as far as crawfish goes. Everything else is also very good. Definitely my go-to spot right now!

Hmmm… where do I start??? The ordering process is complicated and the seafood platter was struggling. They were also out of creamed corn. The positives… plenty of food for two, humongous side salad which was nicely prepared, and the fries were pretty good. I wasn’t crazy about the fried catfish, but my chicken tenders were pretty good.

Let me say this place is going down the hill. at first when they opened this spot the food was delicious and they would always give you enough food for the price. Though, now they decide to give you tiny pieces of fish with a plate of fries and a few shrimps. OK I’m not paying for the potatoes. I want cajun. However, if you take it to-go, they give you lots of pieces. This place is so dead compared to Wing Stop and even T@picoa next door that has some patrons in there, but this spot is deserted all the time. Plus, they keep it hecka freezing enough to lower your blood temperature. Seriously, why don’t have ever have names on the condiments?! Am I supposed to guess between where’s the ketchup and hot sauce. not Louisiana Hot sauce either. it’s their special kind. The staff is OK; not so enthusiastic about the job. While the manager always seems to be walking about the restaurant checking for supplies. The sweet tea isn’t sweet nor close to it. The parking is good. oh and the ladies restroom was cleaned too.

Another pleasant strip center surprise. I had the crawfish étouffée entrée and the sm red beans with a sm shrimp gumbo. Really too much food but curiosity got to me. All of it good. Étouffée good flavor and the crawfish tender with pleasant seasoning. Although served a shade cooler than I’d preferred. $ 8.99 The small shrimp gumbo was good with s nice dark roux and the two shrimp well cooked and tasty. $ 3.79 The sm red beans had a generous serving of sausage. The file was obvious and I liked it. $ 3.49. For me, this place a niche. Budget Cajun that’s much better than Beaudreaux’s T half the price. Easily in the worth a try category if nearby. 3 star food with a fourth for value.

I really used to love this place. But this place has gone down the drain for me. This establishment lacks in two ways, one the cook & cashier can never seem to get an order right and two the quantity of meat on the po-boy decreases each time I go. I’ve came once with my mother and her friend. My mother’s friend specifically asked for a certain meal and was given something completely different. When she confronted the cashier about it. He denied it ever happened, he even showed her the receipt as she was lying. Another time I came with my mother and the same exact thing happened. Just yesterday I decided try a different po-boy. I ordered the chicken po-boy in hopes it would be just like catfish po-boy(a long large piece of catfish). Wrong! From the looks, of it it look like there was no meat on it. I actually had to open up the sandwich to only locate two miniature, tiny, peewee sized chicken strips. As if the cooks served me end pieces of scraped chicken. You know the parts you cut off when you prepare chicken. I was very disappointed! The taste was all the way off. It tasted like a bread, tomato, and lettuce po-boy. If this what 7 Spice calls a po-boy they need to go back to drawing board! The chicken and shrimp po-boy is the same way. They both are absent in appearance and taste. For $ 5.99, I should have at least seen meat from my naked eye. I also ordered original fries not spicy. What was I given. spicy cajun fries. Another setback for this place I once loved. It would be good if the cashier could show the customers their food before handing out. Just like Pizza Hut does for their customers. It would also be good if the 7 Spice could label their condiments. The hot sauce has no label. In the future, I will be looking for another cajun food place to go for po-boys. This 7 Spice Fuqua needs to improve!

I was taking care of some business on the south side of town when I came across this little Cajun seafood restaurant in the foodarama shopping center. It’s decent has a couple of tables and a TV to watch while you dine but I think most people get food Togo. The cashier was nice and he was very knowledgeable of the menu so I ordered jambalaya with shrimp and chicken, and boy did I make a great choice this had to be the be jambalaya I’ve had in Texas. It was high quality like you would receive at a dine in restaurant but at a carry out price. It was great and seasoned perfectly I had no idea that this little place could cook such great food I was really impressed and can’t wait to go back!

Food was pretty good, platters are large portions. Fried tilapia is delicious and the shrimp gumbo was decent. Definitely a great place to eat!

The family decided to check out a new spot. We were not disappointed. I had the blacken shrimp salad. The shrimp was well seasoned and tender. I didn’t use the dressing. My son had the catfish. It was fried crisp but melted in our mouths. My husband had the fried shrimp and chicken strips Cajun. He said the shrimp and fries were really good and the strips were ok. I tried his strips and they were good to me. My son also had the boiled crawfish and I tried them too(yes I ate off everyone’s plate). He had the mild and I thought they would lack season but they didn’t. The crawfish was a bit chewy but I figured that was due to it being toward the end of the night. Overall the food was good and we will return.

Stop by today. Got a To Go order. Service was great. I order two piece chicken tender with catfish and dirty rice with a side order of sweet potato fries. Order came out in a timely manner everything was hot and correct. By the time I arrived home the food was still hot and taste so good. I was very please and will be returning.

Went here today and had the blackened catfish with dirty rice(outstanding) and my wife had the medium gumbo. The gumbo only had to pieces of shrimp(tail shell still on) and two pieces of sausage, but considering that it was only $ 3.39 for the bowl, you get what you pay for and it was still pretty tasty. We also had 3 lbs of craw-fish with 3 potatoes(red) and 2 sausage links ordered extra spicy. The craw-fish was delicious! I would only suggest that the owners provide a bucket for the empty tails and also provide a roll on paper towel for each table. This place is a winner!

This place is pretty new I decided to check it out. I had chicken tenders and shrimp. It was delicious. The butterfly shrimp and chicken strips were evenly coated with delicious original flavor. The outside of the chicken tender was crispy and the inside was very moist. The food here was very fresh. I had cream corn and corn on the cob as my sides. The cream corn was good but I usually prefer corn on the cob. The corn on the cob was personally too spicy for me. I will definitely come back here to try healthier options. I saw that they had blackened chicken salad so that will be next on my list to try when I come back here. Come here and check out the food. It’s a great deal for the price and also the food’s fresh!

Good food. Large space. Reasonable prices. Amazing staff! This place is relatively new so theres a lot of space, which would be great for large groups. Come before it gets super popular! The chicken tenders are so moist and crispy and the gumbo has a lot of flavor. Its a little too salty for me so I personally would go for the chicken tenders. On top of all that, the service is what makes this place for me! I definitely want to come back again for their crawfish!

I just had lunch here and have to say that for being fairly inexpensive, this place is really good! I had the Blackened Tilapia with Shrimp Etoufee and dirty rice. It was great! The manager is nice and always smiles and waves when I go in too. I’ll be back for sure!

So let me start off by saying I was originally going to give this place 4 stars but because as i was finishing up the manager/co-owner greeted me and asked me how I liked the food. I told him straight up what I thought and he genuinely was interested and wanted to keep improving to please his customers. That explains my 5 star rating. Now on to the FOOD! Definitely above average for what you’re paying. I ordered the lunch portion of blackened fish with dirty rice and étouffée sauce on top. In addition, I also ordered a side of boudain balls. Everything tasted great with my only complaint being the dirty rice not as seasoned as I personally like. Portions were large and a good value. Moving on, I spoke with Vince(the manager/co-owner) and he told me everything was made in house and their chicken tenders are breaded to order. As a big fan of chicken tenders I told him I’d have to try them sometime well 3 minutes later he brought some out for me to sample. Let’s just say I would go back just for the tenders. Juicy and lightly breaded with just enough kick. I’m sold on this place as a great place to have a quick and delicious Cajun fix.

Came here with my family today and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was yummy and prices are very reasonable. Fed a family of 4 and had plenty of leftovers for $ 35! Will definitely be back!
