Talk about your ‘Local Flavor’! An antique store you’d expect to find in small town, USA. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Heights! But antique what? Electronics doesn’t seem the apt word, as it predates circuits. We’re talking the vacuum tube era, people! Tons and tons of doodads and curios from the Golden Age of Americana. Most of it working! I asked the owner about them and he said he repairs these things. When discussing the store, he said he’s been open for decades(I think he might have said 40 years but I was too busy processing all the cool stuff to remember it fully). Super friendly guy, very into the place and very welcoming and helpful. Working antique phones including antique wall phones, rotary dial table phones which I last saw Bogey using in Key Largo. Jukeboxes! He has the real deal in the middle of the place, but on one of the shelves are 4 counter-jukeboxes like you’d find in an old diner. Vinyl albums. I’m not sure what artists, but I don’t think he had Lady GaGa. Working antique heaters. Tons and tons of heaters. An icebox against one wall. There are also assorted knick knacks here that you could use to restore an older home, like decorative glass covers for ceiling lights. Two stained-glass panels(now only one!). This place rocks! It’s better than a museum. You can touch and buy the stuff here. Go check out their web page. It’s all there. HAHAHAHAHAHA…had you going for second. Web page. Hee hee. Bring cash. Also, I think he may only be open on weekends.
