Great atmosphere, great food, awesome people! I absolutely love their fish and chips! They also do quite a bit of live music

Great food, burgers are grass fed!. The truffle fries are to die for!!! The BEST anywhere by far… More addictive than cocaine. Beers on tap are always a fantastic selection. This is a super local restaurant with friendly staff.

This pub has a great welcoming feel, with a warm, inviting staff. Their beer selection is awe inspiring, including a large selection on tap. The menu is geared towards pub food, but with many healthy options as well, including a nice veggie burger. Would love to have a place like this around the corner from home!

My newest mistake in life. One of the worst service experiences. Waited two hours for wine and salad. The only highlight was the piano player.

We had dinner at the Brick House Pub at the suggestion of a friend who lives in the area full-time. It was conveniently near the Guthrie Center, where we were attending a concert(a fine venue btw). The tables are each made of a different, beautiful wood and the chalk board beer display sets a cheeky but not too snarky tone. In fact the entire place has a hipster weekender vibe that was thankfully counteracted by all locals in the place who know each other and the staff is friendly. Everyone seems really happy to be there, and so we were happy coming in. We had a Godfather pizza and two Greek salads for the three of us, with half a salad and 4 slices left over. Everything is huge and there is no skimping on the toppings. The salad must have had a cup of kalamata olives and a half a cup of feta, everything fresh and delish. The pizza is baked on a Berkshire bakery shell that is chewy on the crust but thin underneath(how’d they do that?). Sausage, mushroom and pepperoni were tasty and clearly not prepackaged, and mozz and parmesan on top seemed fresh. A little misstep– the Old Ned Red beer was described as «light» when in fact it had a sharp, orange flavor. In fairness, when we pressed the waitress she said she wasn’t sure what kind of beer it was and we ordered it anyway. The selections of beer and wine are long and fun. In addition to featuring local growers, the restaurant also features local live music. The town of Housatonic is small and charming. Although we have visited the area a lot, we had never been here. We’ll be back.

Run here this week to try the unusual and delicious Ballast Point Woohoo Thai Chili with ginger and lime Amazing… Leaves some gentle heat on the back palate. Always fantastic beer selection, but this is worth a trip for.

Good burger on dreadful mystery bread. We stopped at this super-casual bar after a long day for a burger and a beer. The burger was tasty, but the seedy/stale/dense/crunchy bun just awful. We both ended up eating only the meat with a knife and fork. Appreciated the sweet potato fries, though they were not quite as crisp as I like. Service excellent, as was the t-shirt musician playing jazz on an old upright in the corner.

This was a pretty nice place, it wasn’t too crowded when we first got there but filled up as the night went on. Had my first«fried pickles» there and they were good with being both hot and cold. The food was good and they had a pretty good beer selection. I was facing the wrong way to see any TV’s but it’s supposed to be good for watching various games. I don’t remember which nights but they also have live music, I think we were on our way out as they were just setting up.

This place was awesome! We’re on vacation and finding a place in this area was difficult. We arrived around 8:30 and there were a few tables but not packed. By the time we left there were a few people at the bar. The food was delicious which I wasn’t expecting mainly because it is in the middle of nowhere. We left about 9:30 and I’m pretty sure they were closing up. It’s located in an ice very small downtown next to railroad tracks a creek. I highly recommend it! The food was great the service was poor. But then again were not locals so maybe we’re treated different? No idea but I’d go back and if I lived in the area this would be my favorite place.

I’m pregnant so I can’t comment on the booze selection but it did look promising. I had the clam chowder, and fish sandwich and both were delicious. You can tell that they actually put time and effort into their food. My boyfriend had the Buffalo chicken type sandwich and absolutely loved it. Everything seemed as though it was made from scratch. Definitely would recommend it to anyone traveling through that area.

The beer selection and food were wonderful. Wait staff fun… though I had a hard time reading her mind but a fantastic personality. Will go back soon.

This is a very cool, divey bar. It is right on the Housatonic River. It’s got a great no frills atmosphere. They have a big draft beer selection but it’s not very diverse. It’s mostly IPAs and stouts. The food is typical bar fare. It’s good, certainly not great. It doesn’t appear pricey on the menu but they kill you with add on charges: $ 2 here and $ 2 there. My son(8 years old) had a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and sweet potato fries. It was $ 11. $ 7 + $ 2 + $ 2. I just can’t feel good about that. Then the kids ordered brownie sundaes. Well, they were OUT of ice cream. But, the«sundaes» were still $ 7 each. Hmmmm. Not cool right?

Was trying to find someplace for lunch… walked in with my 13 year old daughter. She was feeling like it was maybe too much of a ‘bar’. It was the afternoon and empty so we talked to the person at the bar — Sara. She told us the food was great so we went with it… OMG…loved it. Can’t wait to go back. Casual, trendy, fun atmosphere. Sure to be a great place with a group of friends at night. Definitely go!

Did I LOVE the Brick House Pub !! It’s located in a sweet little picturesque town. They had GREAT music playing– a Pandora station of blues songs. They make their own mozzarella cheese. They sell a $ 2 Pabst Blue Ribbon. They have a dozen micro-brews on draft every day. They sell a $ 10 flight of six beers. They have a really sweet server with the cool name of «Brownie». They have a great pub menu with all of the usual things(soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches and pizza), and some unusual things like fried pickles, mini chili-cheese dogs, and home-made hummus. We stopped here for lunch today after visiting the Lee Outlets. For $ 43 we enjoyed a flight of six beers, a cup of spicy lemon chicken soup, a large sausage pizza, and a chopped salad. The beer flight is a little unusual because instead of choosing your six, the six are predetermined as the first six on the beer menu. I liked the Dark Horse Raspberry Ale, Troeg’s Mad Elf Belgian Strong Ale(at a hefty 11% ABV), and the Southern Tier Choklat Stout. They often Onion Soup and Clam Chowder every day, plus a daily special. I had a great cup of Spicy Lemon Chicken Soup, and it was very good with a zippy broth and lots of veggies and chicken. Their homemade mozzarella cheese made our sausage pizza exceptional. The thin crust, excellent meaty slices of sausage, and tasty sauce combined with the cheese to make a pretty much perfect pizza. The chopped salad was also great– very fresh with bacon and blue cheese crumbles. Brick House has such a comfortable vibe– zero pretension, just a real nice place to relax and enjoy yourself.

Should have gotten the burger. Yummy drinks, good food, good prices. Opted for the fish taco instead and it was bland… the fish, the slaw, the whole thing… just flavorless. The burgers looked great and were made from local beef. The piano player gave the joint a speakeasy vibe. Cool place.

Excellent burgers and beer. The truffle fries are amazing. Get there by 6:30 on Wednesdays to partake in trivia night, which is great fun. Thanks to the Briarcliff for the excellent recommendation.

All my husband and I wanted for dinner were simple burgers, not something easy to find in Lenox. We found this place on Unilocal and weren’t disappointed. The food was as promised, delicious and right on. That said, the staff were not prepared for Columbus Day weekend crowds. There was one bartender and one waitress for one soon-to-be very crowded restaurant. It actually filled up while we sat and watched. We got there at 6:00 p.m., had plenty of seats to choose from, and were able to order at 6:20. At that time, we ordered two burgers, one medium rare and the other medium. Forty minutes later, once the place was pretty much packed, we received our burgers. Though we thought they’d be overcooked because they took so long, they were, in fact, done perfectly. We asked the waitress if they were short-staffed, and she assured us that the two staff can normally cover Sunday nights. We felt bad for her as more people came in and waited while she pretty much ran a marathon, along with the bartender. The menu and food were great pub fare. They have a excellent selection of items. Even though my husband and I were in no rush, I can only imagine that some people were pretty unhappy with the wait for seating, ordering, and the receiving of food and drink.

Great ambiance plus solid beers on tap. We came for the burger as we were told that the meat was sourced locally. Found that to be true. Unfortunately the cook turned a med/rare request into a shoe leather well done burger that was tasteless. Very disappointing!

A gem in the berkshires. My favorite place to eat. I travel up here on weekends from new haven connecticut and the food here blows away pubs back home. Perfect for beers snobs, the taps change frequently. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re traveling through or from the area. The burgers are a must. Enjoy!

Came in with 6 motorcycle friends. The food was great and the atmosphere welcoming. I had one of their specialities: bacon wrapped, deep fried, mini hot dogs. They were delicious. The rest of my group loved their food too. Service was a bit slow, guy was tending the bar too.
