Terrebonne General Medical Center

Everyone here exhibited a high level of professionalism and care. I got the impression that this hospital is able to handle a variety of medical needs.

Terrebonne General Hospital is a wonderful facility with great employees. This is where I was born and just look at how awesome I am. ;)
Three of my six nephews were born at this hospital. Now, everyone who meets my sister loves her but she’s a bit of a mama bear when it comes to her kids. That’s putting it lightly, too. For instance, she once threatened to beat up the Little League coach of nephew number two because she thought the other kids were playing too rough.
I have been here with her with her kids a few times. Once right after one of her sons were born for some tests that required a blood sample via a big nick on the bottom of his brand new foot. That poor nurse didn’t know what was coming. My sister was pissed when her baby started to scream and the nurse was at fault according to my sister. She was patient and calm, though and calmed the baby down AND my sister. Not an easy feat.
Years later that same nephew was pretending to be Superman by attempting to fly off of the top of a bookcase that he’d climbed on. Boys…
Needless to say, that didn’t end well and he hit his head on the corner of a table. We rushed him to Terrebonne General and again, my sister nearly lost her marbles. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with head wounds but they bleed A LOT. Once again, everyone from the receptionists in the ER to the nurses and doctors did a great job of calming down my family and making the experience way less stressful. He had to get six stitches but he was fine and thankfully relatively calm.
If the employees at this hospital are capable of putting my sister and screaming patients at ease then believe me, you are in great hands here.

There I was, resting comfortably. I was in a warm spot specially designed for me. It was the soundest of sleeps I have ever experienced so I was quite content staying in that spot. So content that I over stayed my welcome by 20 days. I knew it couldn’t last and on the 20^th day something happened.
In the midst of a wonderful nap, I was awaken by a light. Hmm I thought, I had never even seen light before. It was then that I realized someone or something was pushing me towards that light. «Hell no! I don’t want to leave I exclaimed». No one could hear me, or else they were ignoring me. No matter how much I cried or yelled, I kept being pushed towards that light. I was very close to the light when some jerk grabbed me.
Next thing you know, I’m in a room full of strangers wearing all blue with crazy face masks. I was not pleased and let them know by screaming at the top of my lungs: «Hey randos, I was comfortable in there». They must’ve spoken some foreign language because they just ignored me completely. Then they handed me to some strange woman, but I was instantly at ease. Though I had never seen her, I knew her. Then they’re away from her and made me sleep in a really uncomfortable bed for a few days.
Despite all of that drama, I was pretty impressed at the staff’s professionalism. If it weren’t for their excellence at their jobs, you wouldn’t be reading this review right now.
And just so you don’t think I’m writing a review from 21 years ago, the excellent staff at Terrebonne General also helped with several other births that were important to me. While I may have not been a fan at the time, my brothers turned out to be OK dudes.
In summary, if you’re carrying the future best Unilocaler on earth in your womb, this is where he should be born. OK, that last sentence was a joke, but I know most people don’t read this stuff anyway. Good day fine sir or madam.

I wouldn’t give a hospital more than three stars unless they saved my life or something. The didn’t stand out from other doctors offices I visited in the past. Just doing their job at a steep price.
