I’ve eaten here many times in the past. I found this time not to be as good an experience as the other times. The prices have been raised, but the quality has not. The chicken was warm, not hot. Or seemed like it sat for a while. Not as crispy as it should have been. My combo came with a side, so I asked for onion rings. They are some of the best fast food rings I’ve found. I was told they would be additional at full price. I could have 1 of about half of the others. The fries, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes were priced at $ 1.99. The onion rings were also $ 1.99. What’s the difference? I didn’t want the other sides, but to have onion rings would have meant paying more than $ 10.00 for a chicken lunch. Hopefully, they’ll improve their choices to keep customers happy.

I went here about a month ago and was very impressed so I had to try it again. The chicken was hot and crispy. My favorite part, and the reason I went back… the onion rings. They are battered just like homemade ones. Popeyes used to do this but not anymore. I will frequent Danny’s more often simply because of the onion rings. And the strawberry Fanta I had was a nice compliment to the meal. I claim to be a Popeyes girl but I definitely recommend Danny’s as well. oh, and barely any wait time even though it was 5 pm. Yum!

This place is okay. People from Morgan City seem to love it. I find their chicken to be rather greasy. It is definitely no Popeye’s.

Driver through worker very nice. Owner not nice. Prices are not better than bigger more popular chains. Chicken was dried out. Small sides should be called tiny sides. Fried okra was best part of the meal
