Allies Figure & Day Spa

We, my daughter and myself love working out at Allies.
All the equipment we use is on point and in good working condition. There’s a huge variety of equipment for full body workouts, and enough for several Woman to use simultaneously.
We absolutely love the staff, very nice Girls all with knowledge of there jobs and are willing to help you in any area of the Gym. There great just to chill and have conversation with too.
It was very important for my Daughter not to feel Gymtimadation and here she does not feel anything but comfortable.
The location wasn’t my favorite area, although once I went for the first time I felt really good and safe and it’s just a few miles from our home.
The price is equally good. It’s affordable for both me and my daughter’s membership. I think we’ll be lifetime members at this point.

Unfortunately the worst bikini wax I have ever had! I normally go to a spa in New Orleans, but was in Houma visiting the parents and HAD to go! When I walked in, the décor and «before and after» pictures should have been my first sign to leave, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The girl who did my wax was sooo sweet! Very personable and easy to talk too. However, there was no prep and they used regular wax. Also she didn’t do a complete brazilian wax if you know what I mean. After, she also plucked the left over hair, which was more like plucking my skin. Also, they told me on the phone it was going to be $ 35, but it was really $ 50. Save your who-​ha and go somewhere else!

I feel bad giving this place a negative review, but they gave me a negative experience. I have had about 10 – 15 massages in my time and this was the worst of them. The massage therapist spent WAY too much time on my neck area. I thought she was doing the vulcan grip on me. The décor of the place needs to be updated as well. Not as relaxing and tranquil as other places I have visited. Unfortunately they are the only game in town.
