This was my favorite place in town for years! Every times I’ve gone lately the drinks are cold or wrong. The décor is overwhelming and it looks like your grandmas gift shop instead of the classy coffee shop it once was. It had couches and a fire place at one time now I’m afraid all the stuff hanging will fall on my face. The staff is very nice! I just don’t like going here anymore because it’s not relaxing. If they took half the stuff down it would change the feel.

Had the ham breakfast panini w/potatoes and it was delicious. The place is very cozy and filled with boutique items to buy. Perfect place to go to on a rainy day. The only thing was the coffee and potatoes needed to be hotter. Coffee was warm, not hot… you could drink it as soon as you get it. Customer service was excellent… very nice and hospitable. A seat by the window is recommended and lovely. Would def come bck again… great place!!!

This is the best coffee shop in all of Arkansas. The mochas are amazing and the food is very good tasting, well priced, and was made with high quality ingredients. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, deserts, pastries, and they have a very large selection of merchandise to buy. I would recommend this place to anyone, even those who don’t drink coffee. They also serve alcohol. The staff is very well put together and friendly as well.

It was great! Very friendly and very fresh ingredients. We ordered primo house salad and a ruben with loaded baked potato salad. They where terrific. The apple dumpling for desert was amazing. Great raspberry tea also. Well worth it.

Great service, even though you order from the counter and choose a seat they still come over and check on you and ask if you need coffee refills. Friendly staff. Eclectic place, with cute items to purchase from cards to scarfs!

What an excellent restaurant for breakfast! Service, food and atmosphere are 5 star! The presentation of the food is excellent !! The gift shop adds a lot of atmosphere to the restaurant . We will probably return for dinner tonight! We just had fabulous dinners here this evening. The salmon, shrimp and pizza entrees were fantastic !! Service again was 5 star! We can’t wait to return in the Fall to eat here!

Terrible just terrible, after waiting for 15 minutes while the children that were running the place played with their friends and being asked to move while I’m standing in line by the staff no less than 5 times my family and I finally left. I had been here before and the desserts were old and stale. I waited to come back thinking that everyone deserves a second chance. Do not waste your time with this place. Soo many other respectable businesses close by.

Amazing coffee and breakfast experience! We are very picky with our coffee and were quite pleased. My husband had an Americano and I had a latte– both great. We both had the bagel breakfast sandwich and they were delicious!

I stopped by here with my wife this past Saturday evening for a quick pick me up before dinner. We were in Hot Springs looking for a good coffee house whenever we found this to have the best ratings on Unilocal and so headed over. This coffeehouse is located in a strip mall and has seating for around 30 or so people. It is decorated with a ton of interesting stuff with a lot of it being related to some of the bigger colleges in the region. On this evening I decided to go with my standard Americano to drink while my wife went with an espresso. Our barista was nice to us whenever we ordered and all of the workers were nice to us the entire time we were there. As a matter of a fact they seemed to be incredibly nice to everyone that was in the coffeehouse which really impressed us. After we had ordered, my wife and I found ourselves a seat near a set of plugs which we put to good use charging our iPhones. Shortly thereafter our coffees were brought out to us. My cup ended up being overfilled which the barista apologized for. That means that quite a bit of it dripped out of the cup and into the saucer before I could even drink it. Then my first couple of sips of it consisted of my bending my head down to the cup to drink before I finally got it to a level that I could pick it up at. It wasn’t really a problem for me but is worth mentioning. The Americano ended up having a nice taste to it without any bitterness at all although I wish it would have been a bit stronger. My wife enjoyed her espresso though and had no reservations about the strength of it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I loved how friendly everyone was here, the coffee was good and I would love to try one of their really good looking desserts in the future.

It’s alright. There are nearby place for better coffee, better customer service, and a better environment. The coffee isn’t bad, and the interior isn’t an assault to the senses. The servers were fairly disengaged when I ordered. Overall, it’s just blasé. It’s pretty basic.

The food was really good. I got the breakfast panini with a side of regular chips. Was a bit disappointed when served what looked like lays potato chips– a nice upgrade would be house cut fresh chips, but oh well. The panini itself was delicious. Also had the white chocolate latte, it was perfect!

Java Primo was one of my to-go coffee shops in Hot Springs. They have great coffee but they also offer a wide variety of teas and a large menu full of satisfying and tasty items. Also, unlike many other establishments in the area, they provided a few delicious veggie options.(I didn’t find Hot Springs very veggie friendly!) I am forever grateful for their hummus wrap and the portobello mushroom panini. And after you’re done with your meal I would suggest some of their homemade ice cream, but I’m not even going to get into that, just try it out in your own. With a brownie. It’s a bit out of the way from bathhouse row but great coffee, great food and a great staff make it worth the trip.

I visited JavaPrimo one weekday morning for breakfast during my visit to Hot Springs. I ordered an egg sandwich with breakfast potatoes and a coffee to dine in. I was given a small mug of coffee and told that they’d come around and offer free refills. After that, I was advised that I’d get a to-go cup full of coffee, too. For a restaurant that’s not a full-service restaurant, I didn’t like the sound of all that, but I went with it. I would have preferred a coffee station for free refills or one large coffee up front. I paid by credit card and, of course, there’s a place on the receipt for gratuity. Do I look like an ass and not leave anything? Or do I anticipate that they’re going to offer me fantastic service? NO place should ask you for a tip upfront. In fact, NO fast food establishments should ask you for tips ATALL(yes, that means you, too, coffeehouses). Their employees are making more than the $ 2/hour that a regular server does who relies on tips for his/her income. Anyway, I left a 15−20% tip to be a generous guy. Did I receive the service I’d expect from that? NO. My breakfast sandwich was delivered to me piping hot. It was great, and I loved that the egg yolk was still a little runny, making the sandwich extra flavorful(although my partner would have been so grossed out by this). They should probably notify people upfront about this. The employees were talking and joking amongst themselves behind the counter. Not ONCE did anyone come out to refill my coffee. In fact, *after* I finished my sandwich and my first tiny cup of coffee was long gone, I went up to the counter myself and there was nobody there. I had to stand there for awhile before anyone came by and saw me. I had my empty cup and still had to ASK for a refill. Why did they think I was up there with the empty cup? What kind of service is that? After finishing my small 2nd cup of coffee, I didn’t even bother going up for my to-go coffee. I just stopped at a Starbucks on my drive to get the coffee that JavaPrimo should have offered upfront in the first place. The breakfast sandwich was good and the restaurant is cute, but the service is AWFUL and don’t bother going if you’re a real coffee drinker.

I heart JavaPrimo. It is a cozy café with quality food selection and many are actually healthy. Everything is fresh and you can tell. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and a flare for something different so I really enjoyed the S’More platter. It was so much fun roasting marshmallows over a flame and creating my own tasty creation. The peanut butter was a nice addition that I hadn’t considered. I recommend JavaPrimo to all my friends and family when they are in town.
