Food was yummy, especially the Louis Vitton roll. Chef Patrick was so much fun and my entire group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Music was on point too.

Our server put the«crazy» in Crazy Samurai. This bugged my partner, but I’m willing to overlook it because she seemed young, maybe someone in high school. The chefs were really nice and welcoming. We were checked on multiple times with quick service. The décor is pretty cool too. The menu is very nontraditional for Western-style sushi. It seems a bit revolutionary and more suited for a major metro city. I appreciate the diversity and creativity of the offerings. The city is lucky to have them. Since I’m from Cajun country(New Iberia and Acadiana), I had to have the Cajun roll. I ordered it knowing I don’t like cream cheese in my sushi. Oh well, that aside, I wouldn’t mind larger shrimp. Everything else about the roll was spot on. The flavors were great. My partner had the 14 piece nigiri sushi. The owner is also the sole chef of this offering, which means only good things. He spoke to my partner and asked if he had any requests — tuna and eel. The chef was generous and accommodated him. He even offered a sample of his own special saffron-infused soy sauce. It was very earthy and fragrant. I have never tasted saffron before and appreciate the experience. My partner has been too shy to consider eating here alone while he worked here for roughly 6 mo. He finally dined here on his last day in Hot Sprigs and now he regrets it. When he comes back for a fall assignment, this will be a weekly restaurant for him. Look forward to returning and hope both tourists and residents try this restaurant out.

Don’t let the parking lot fool you! We pulled up and despite the great reviews, the parking lot was empty and needs replacing, so we had second thoughts. I’m glad we gave it a shot anyway! My daughter and I got sushi and my son and wife got hibachi shrimp and chicken. The food was FANTASTIC! My wife and son have special dietary needs and they were very accommodating and cautious to fix food they could eat. The Las Vegas roll and Firecracker rolls are great! This will be our regular stop when coming back to Hot Springs!

Food was really good, I had the shrimp hibachi and my husband who is a vegetarian had sushi. Both turned out to be very good. The service is good; would have given 5 stars if the price was good as well.

Off the charts good! The best hibachi steak house we have ever been to. Very unique fried rice and amazing steak and shrimp. Loved the«Real Alaskan roll». Looking forward to trying more menu items.

The food was great. I’m not a picky eater though, so it’s not hard to impress me… the focal point of the review is the atmosphere and the staff. This place has a great staff.(Prolly gunna wanna have the guy with the beard be near you. That dude is hilarious. At least have em stop by) Servers were down to earth and friendly. Great senses of humor. Go here if you are in town on vacation. Good location. Please go here.

Came here based on reviews and hot damn! I was not disappointed! We shared the most expensive meal on the menu and its was soooooo good! My friend had the chicken, which was also yummy. I’m used to eating hibachi at Benihana and I hate to go against it but this place was waaaaay better!

Awesome sushi! Very cool atmosphere, unlike the usual boring sushi places. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food is pretty reasonably priced as well as delicious. Definitely one of my new favorite places in town.

This is where our office had our Christmas luncheon. It was great! The food was delicious; the service was absolutely 5-star. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the Hot Springs area.

Please check this place out! Crazy Samurai has been only open for a year and is far off the beaten path. Hot Springs is a tourist destination, and the place was empty when we visited during the offseason. Upon entry there is a choice between sushi and hibachi. My wife and I chose hibachi and were led to the back part of the restaurant. I noticed Patrick right away from his Unilocal picture, and he created an amazing experience. We have some hibachi before, but the Patrick’s friendliness, ninja skills with the knife and spatula, and the fried rice stood out. We agreed we have never seen someone so fast with his tools. He even played«yo-yo» with his spatula and a raw egg. This looks incredibly hard, and it took some time to master. The fried rice tasted nothing like anything to we have had before. The fresh ingredients and spices he used were the secret. Great food, great entertainment, and a friendly staff. Please please give Crazy Samurai a try!

My Friday night experience wasn’t so great. It started off with a bang with a hearty Japanese welcome, but the wait to be greeted at the table was ridiculous. It took too long to receive drinks, and while waiting & looking around at other tables I could tell they too were unhappy. It seemed like everyone, including me were unhappily waiting. Maybe they are understaffed, but it wasn’t that busy. The sushi was hit or miss, some rolls were better than others. The starter salad was kinda dull. –Like supermarket lettuce in a bag, with ginger dressing slopped on. Wtf? But the sushi prices are decent. The constant techno music is fun for a club, but not when your trying to enjoy a meal. Maybe would order take out from here next time.

Glad we went out on a limb and tried this. Food tasted great. George on the hibachi killed it. Waitress was a little too attentive with us, checking in every two minutes. The only reason getting four stars. Understandable when the place is slow though. Will be coming back the next time I drive through for sure!

Found this place on Unilocal and so glad we did! We arrived for an early dinner and the server was friendly and did a great job explaining the menus/option. Chef Steve prepared our hibachi meals and they were excellent. Altogether we had the shrimp, steak, chicken and steak w veggies. We left stuffed and completely satisfied with our experience. One of our best hibachi meals ever. We will most definitely return next year when it’s time for summer camp again!

We have been here several times and always have a great experience. Tonight was no different! Our Hibachi chef Steve was super knowledgable and personable. The fillet and tuna steak were cooked perfectly and Steve even made a lemon butter sauce for us. The avocado bomb is something we always order and it never disappoints! We brought some friends and they were impressed as well.

Heard good things from people so tried it out. In short, service was poor at best, décor is tacky and the space itself is unimpressive and the lighting is garish. However, the sushi was surprisingly decent and clearly the best part of the entire venture. Prices are a little on the pricey side in my opinion.

This establishment just opened on Monday, 8 – 18. We visited on Tuesday, and it was great. Excellent service and the hibachi was great as well as the Cajun Roll. Our party of six enjoyed everything and we look forward to returning again soon!
