Hidden gem. We love the casual atmosphere at Beanos. It’s great for a family or just the adults. Love getting a cheap pitcher of beer and some fried green beans. The pizza is really good, although they do use canned mushrooms instead of fresh. Service was great! Can’t wait to go back.

We walked in after having seen the restaurant off the side of the road thinking we would get a good pizza. I suspect the current reviews are simply being nice and not honest because it was a horrible experience from the start. As we walked through the door the place seemed dingy and a bit dirty. There was a waitress there who had just serviced a table but did not greet us at all. The place wasn’t busy at all. She was a rather large and unkempt woman in chino pants, flip flops… yes flip flops… and an over sized messy shirt, tattoos, clearly not caring one bit about her appearance. We followed her to the back of the place and she still didn’t speak. We walked up to the counter and waited. …she looked at us, still not speaking, as if she was waiting for us the greet her. …after a bit she finally spoke«hi», that was it. The first thing we did was to let her know we wanted to order out. We then asked if we could order half a pizza one way and the other half another way. «That depends» she said. «That depends?» We ask «That depends.» She repeats «That depends on what?» We ask «That depends on what you order» I ask her«What the hell does that mean, why not just tell us what pizza will not allow us to order half» Now after the whole exchange she the nerve to get offended«you don’t have to curse at me.» A few more words with me trying to explain professionalism and customer service and she asked us to leave. It’s a slack jaw yokel hole in the wall. Don’t waste your time.

Vegetarian friendly!!! I’m not talking your basic veggie pizza toppings either. You can get that stuff anywhere. They have TVP(textured vegetable protein) that made my day. If you are a fan of the cheeseburger pizza ‘ala Pizza Inn, Beano’s does it better! I’ll be going back for the vegetarian taco pizza for sure.

I completely forgot to take photos for this review((oops!!)) I found this extreme«hole –in-the-wall» through my fellow Unilocalers! Craving pizza in a national park is oximoronic at best, so I drove a few miles to this local pizzeria. The front entrance left much to be desired, because this place is situated between a Jazzercise joint & a pet shop in a strip mall. For the middle-of-nowhere Arkansas, how bad could it be? When my date & I walked inside, we were the only customers. I’m a little concerned, but we ordered anyway. The waitress was quick to take our order, which was a ½ n ½ pie, with double cheese & hamburger coating one half & veggies topping the other. The pizza wasn’t bad, not the best I’ve ever had in my life, but ok. My veggies were not fresh – the ‘shrooms looked like something out of a jar. The crust of this pizza is different – not quite thin, but not like hand-tossed. It’s more of a version of a dense matzo. I liked it because it wasn’t greasy at all. At first bite, I wondered if it had been prepared with pizza sauce, so I asked the nice waitress for extra. She returned very promptly with a styrofoam container full of red sauce — uhm, STONECOLD! Really??? She happily heated it for me in an instant, upon my request After I applied a thin layer of sauce to the pizza, it was actually really good! As we sat in a semi-darkened room eating our pie, many locals came through for take –out. There were a few other couples who joined us for dine in, which meant we were able to enjoy dinner & conversation without screaming – which is always a BIG plus for me! **Using fresh veggies would have bought this local another star from me. **

Watch out they will charge you full price for a salad a 3 yr old had with a very very very tiny amount of veggies, also when they run out of tea they will charge you extra for a dr pepper when you already paid for a tea.

Nothing spectacular about this place. I had the veggie pizza and my husband had the cheeseburger pizza. The sauce was pretty plain, the mushrooms on my pizza were not fresh and the crust to me was a cross between crispy and regular. The restaurant was clean and the service was fine, but I would not recommend this place for pizza.

Anyone remember Pop-In Pizza? Word on the street is that Beano’s branched off of Pop-In! There’s usually not a very long wait until your hot, fresh, delicious pizza is delivered to your table. I like that I can get my own small pizza when dining with friend and it doesn’t have to be a thick crust! I hate a pizza that’s all doughy bread. Their pizzas have a thinner crust that’s got a bit of crunch. There are lots of interesting options on the menu. One of my dining partners LOVES the taco pizza. Be sure to get a salad because they have HOMEMADERANCHDRESSING! It’s thick and delicious! This is a fun place to visit that’s not run by some giant chain corporation.

Beano’s is a nice neighborhood pizza joint that makes great, tasty pizza! It tends to be on the thin side and has crispy crust with some oven blackening. Usually with ample cheese and light on the sauce. They beat all the chains by a mile.
