Wildwood 1884 Bed & Breakfast Inn

If you are in the Hot Springs area (or near Little Rock, AR) this is the place to stay. Experience a place that is the epitome of Southern hospitality! We travelled by car from Cincinnati, OH, passing through Nashville, TN, and were given a tour of the bed and breakfast right when we arrived. The house is a Victorian style house, with detailed woodwork, stained glass, and beautiful antique furnishings. We stayed in the Kipling room (named after the poet), which has its own entrance and exit for extra privacy. Great for a couples weekend or anniversary. The hosts are gracious and knowledgeable about the town’s history. We received great restaurant recommendations from seafood to steakhouses and Italian food. There are abundant hiking trails and the house is set right in the middle of the Historic National Park so if you like exploring the outdoors this is the perfect spot for you!
The breakfast is of course the best part. There is a full self-​serve coffee and tea bar. The hosts are accommodating of any food allergies or restrictions and Rebecca is the most wonderful hostess and breakfast chef. We had homemade blueberry muffins and streusel a la mode along with a decadent croissant sandwich filled with all the best breakfast things – eggs and bacon! It was amazing and we were given muffins and brownies to go as well. The deserts are hands down the best I have ever tasted.
In addition, the bath houses are amazingly relaxing, we booked a massage at the Quapaw Baths and now we are addicted. Future trips to this area will be planned around a visit to Wildwood and a spa day at the baths. There are some great packages and discounts to some of the spas nearby.

We stayed in the Morroccan Suite for 3 nights. We were greeted in the driveway as we drove up. Incredibly warm, friendly hosts. Our suite is a private one across the street from the main house. But we were given a key to the main house to refill our ice/​snacks/​drinks anytime. They let you borrow movies to watch in your own room. Our suite had a king size bed, giant 2 person jacuzzi tub, and a great mini kitchen.
We got the ultimate romance package, and loved it! Dinner was amazing, massages and couples bath were so nice.
Overall, this place is amazing. I urge anyone going to Hot Springs to stay here!

Normally it takes absolute perfection for me to rate something a 5, but giving this place a 4 would be an injustice. We stayed in the Moroccan room which is detached from the main house. It was nothing less than perfect. Quiet, secluded yet close enough, and all the privacy you need. Fridge was full of drinks, free bottle of whine, a dozen roses and petals everywhere. We selected the «how I love thee» package which included a couples massage and dinner one night on the Belle of Hot Springs. Historic down town is 5 minutes away and there is plenty to do in this city. This by far is a weekend get away you should look into. We will be returning frequently. The owners are not always easy to contact, but that is solely because they are always working on the rooms to make it the best experience possible. Absolutely fantastic!
