The staff is always friendly and helpful, any time I’ve had a problem with a product they have helped me out. They have the best customer service compared to any other outdoor store that I’ve ever been to. They also have great prices for the high quality brands they carry.

Very friendly people that are truly enthusiastic about outdoor activities. Tons of photos of canoe trips that make you want to buy a canoe or kayak and get started. Good equipment bu

I am a huge fan of outdoor gear stores. I seek them out and rarely enter one without buying something. I found this shop while traveling in Hot Springs and like the porch and visual appeal. The inside is neat with an upstairs loft. The store seemed well-stocked and I found what I was looking for. Mom & Pop shops really have only one thing over online or chain stores — customer service — the ability to warmly welcome outdoorsy folks and to see that their needs are met. When I was a young man there was an outfitter like that — an old dog was usually lying somewhere nearby and the owners seemed as happy selling a 16 year old some 1″ webbing as they did a seasoned buyer a new kayak. The female owner of this business seemed fairly disinterested in me and the people who came through the door. Maybe she was having an off day but in the world of small business is there ever room for this? I would definitely return to this store but I would also hope the owners would be a bit warmer.
