Main Street Pizzeria and Grille

Stopped in tonight for a to go order. Tacony Panini and a side of fries. When I was told it was ready I asked for a bag. Woman at the counter proceeded to grab a scrunched up old WalMart bag, said «here ya go» and slid it across the counter at me so I could bag my own order.
My customer service comment from 2013 no longer applies.
Sandwich was good. Fries went in the trash.

I was between two and three stars. There is nothing substantially bad, it just isn’t great.
There are much better pizza places within a three mile radius.
We had an Italiano pizza and a cheesesteak. The Italiano was a disappointment. With a description of «Italian meats» we had expected some hunks of pepperoni, sausage, salami, prosciutto etc… Maybe not all of them, but at least a few. It was just small bits of ham and mayyyybe something else. Further, it was a white pizza and we were not expecting that.
The cheesesteak was decent and the onion rings were actually well done.
If this place had a few craft beer taps in the restaurant I would be more apt to try again, but there are really just too many better options.

This place is really cute. Its a layed back atmosphere and the staff is friendly & courteous. My husband and I wanted to try a different pizzeria and we were not disappointed with our decision to come here. Their pizza is very good and they have a variety of them too. I ordered the broccoli spinach and ricotta cheese pizza. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan with 3 peppers (spicy sweet & red). We both enjoyed our lunch and will be back to try the others.

Never ordering from here again… and it’s a shame because I used to really like their food even if they messed up on all my orders mostly every time I called…
Whoever is in the kitchen or makes the pizzas doesn’t give a shit.

Great place, always uses fresh ingredients. Delivery is always fast. Staff is always nice. Best spot for chicken parmigiana in Horsham.

I’ve gone here several times. At first it was good, the junk yard fries are good. There’s been times I’ve ordered had it delivered and not what I ordered. I gave it one last try tonight because it’s been awhile, biggest mistake. Ordered 2 chicken sandwhiches, they were both raw. Took it back and was told they would void the charge (still haven’t seen it), I got apologized to but the person in the back didn’t seem to care. I didn’t order salmonella.

Main Street in Horsham is my favorite place to order from! The food is always delicious, especially their hoagies and cheesesteaks, and their delivery is speedy! Oh, and their cheese fries with whiz are amazing!!!

A tad pricey but really good pizza and hoagies. I wish the hoagie rolls were a little thicker to accommodate for the massively awesome amount they put on them. My hoagie was falling through the bottom while eating it and that’s a huge pet peeve of mine. Other than that. I really enjoy this place and will continue to order from them.

Such a shame. Moved here two years ago, went to Main Street often. Was good. About two months ago, ordered a Margharita delivered. Was not even cooked. Frustrating when that is what you are having for dinner. Called, they were pleasant. Apologized. Said regular cook not in, credited my account (wasn’t looking for that, was just informing them something was off, so the credit was nice). Well. Cashed in the credit tonight, regular pie (thinking maybe the specialty just not their thing). Not cooked. Pretty gross looking. Don’t think they did on purpose, but, sigh, will no longer be their customer. Not sure if a management change or something, but, um, yuck!

I order from this place b/​c the service is always pleasant and friendly. I would not order any of the pizzas, but the cheesesteaks are decent. They have lots of coupons circulating, which makes me order from them more than I would without them.

We ordered a large pizza, had it customized half and half; ordered garlic knots and an tasty oreo milkshake. Really enjoyed the BBQ chicken pizza half!

Update: We used to go to Main Street a few times a week. We were always greeted promptly and received good service. Went in there a few weeks ago and no one said a word to us even though the place was empty. All of the servers were behind the counter chatting or on their cell phones. Service was slow even though most of the customers were picking up their orders. Our server was MIA most of the time. It even took a while to get the check.
Main Street does have good food so we’ll keep it on our list if we want delivery service. I doubt if we’ll go there again for dine-​in because we certainly don’t need the attitude from a bunch of college kids…
This is our ‘go-​to’ place on nights I don’t feel like cooking. You can’t go wrong with 2 slices of pizza and a soda for $ 4.99. The sandwiches and other entrees are good too. Wasn’t a fan of the white cheddar fries though. Thankfully the white cheddar sauce was served on the side. If you order for delivery it usually arrives faster than the quoted time.

I was tired of ordering food from the same place we always did, so I gave this place a try. Ordered the fried chicken platter, fried shrimp, small pizza, mac & cheese, fries, and milkshakes.
The chicken was burnt & there was no meat. I just stared at the chicken, thinking it must’ve been some joke. I looked at the shrimp (for the BF), and they were burnt as well. He said the shrimp was all breading. Mac & cheese was fine, but then again it was just penne pasta in a cheese sauce — hard to mess up.
BF enjoyed the pizza, but he prefers under cooked pizza, whereas I do not — so I didn’t like it.
Milkshakes were too watered down.
Fries were pretty great, actually, but unfortunately, I will not be ordering from them again.
I do not cook, and therefore we get delivery almost every day — and have a good amount of experience with restaurants that deliver. I can definitely say this was the worst food I’ve ever had delivered. Extremely disappointing.

Been there before and the food was passable. This time however I got a bowl of chicken noodle soup and was disappointed. The soup was home made, had no chicken broth in it and no noodles. Had a few chunks of chicken and little chopped up pieces of pasta, but was 90% carrots and celery. It was more vegetable soup than chicken noodle. Told the girl at the counter about it and said she would look into it an gave me a $ 1.00 discount.
I also ordered a turkey wrap with honey mustard but the problem was there was hardly any honey mustard on it. When the wrap was made they put a tablespoon of it in the center and then rolled it up and cut it in half. So there was only mustard on the first bite of each half. None on the rest of it. When a mentioned this to the girl at the counter that they didn’t spread the mustard throughout the sandwich, she got annoyed and responded «well you could’ve asked for more mustard».
I’ll give them another try and see if the next items I get are better.

Took about 45 mins to get a small pizza and meatball sandwhich and we called ahead! About 4 other ppl waiting and no one had food!

I usually pass this time every time I travel to/​from NJ and this place is at a good point on the way home that a quick pie or some sandwiches are good here!
I love the fact they have their own lot and that you can get in and out fast.
I also love that their portions are acceptably large and that everything is truly just delicious.
If in the area definitely give them a try and you will not be disappointed what so ever!

We wanted to try this place before we moved so we went for a quick weeknight dinner. Dining room was cute, typical suburban Italian restaurant. Our server was sweet and the prices were reasonable. I had a half cheesesteak wrap and French fries. T had a small pizza and wings. The cheesesteak was the best part of the meal. Hot and cheesy and the wrap was really soft and fresh. The fries were cold and cold fries are the worst. How they got cold is beyond me. We were one of two tables. I also tried a couple bites of pizza. Blah. Too much oregano and I like a thinner crust, more Trenton-​style. Didn’t try the wings. With all the pizza places in the area, we have no reason to go back.

Please note: This review is ONLY about the pizza. I go here about once a week for their 2 slice lunch deal. The staff is friendly, the selection of pizzas is fantastic, and I have yet to have a bad slice. There are a good number of meat and meatless options for those who want something a bit lighter.
For a quick and inexpensive lunch they cant be beat!
