Wendy’s

Did drive through and ordered three sandwiches with some fries; ate fries on drive home because that’s what one does. Get home and realize I am missing a sandwich AND a receipt. How am I going to prove this?
Luckily, upon my return, the manager JoAnn (?) recognized me and remembered my order being short. She apologized and interrupted the line having my entire order remade fresh, correctly, and immediately with no questions asked.
I worked in fast-​food for six years and have probably made similar mistakes myself. Kudos for excellent customer service, creative problem solving and conflict resolution.
Satisfied and full.

Compared to McDonald’s, Burger King and Hardees, this place is the true king of fast food burgers. So 4 stars in this infamous category. The meat tastes good. They offer Wendy’s version of chili and fries are on par with McDonald’s. Chicken nuggets look like chicken inside. They place decent sized tomato and red onion on the burger. What more can you ask for?
Lunch time is crazy busy here. It’s right on the bike trail that leads to Calhoun, so after a long ride, you can replenish lost calories (and more) with a meal.

The drive through was busy but moved quickly. The lady taking payment was training an employee but still was quick and friendly. Unfortunately it was down hill from there. My food was delivered quickly but by a drone. This guy did not say «hi» did not say «thank you» and never made eye contact. I received my Frosty and a bag of food and he walked away. I was rather uncomfortable driving away since I wasn’t sure if I had all my items or not. You know how when receiving your completed order the server usually says «thank you» or «enjoy your meal»?
Quirky food quality as well. The fries were crispy and golden, but the cheeseburger was soggy and limp with gross fishy tasting lettuce and tomato. I really don’t feel like going back to this place.

For being a Wendy’s, the service here is great! They keep the line moving at a very busy lunch with a line throughout the building. The management and staff here are great. That being said, it’s still Wendy’s.
