Have very much enjoyed my time living here! The management office is wonderful and always responds almost immediately to any sort of questions, inquiries, etc. I have never had any maintenance issues or problems with it being loud. My apartment looks out to the train tracks and does make a bit of noise, but nothing that you really notice. It is the best place I’ve ever lived in regards to noise because I never hear my neighbors in their apartments-not once! Very safe-have never had any issues with my car or any other property. My apartment is spacious and extremely comfortable. The apartment complex is right on the line of Hopkins and Minnetonka so it does register as both via the post office, but I never not received something because of that. Great place!

Summation of the below review: Waterstone Place Apts. Sucks a little Waterstone Place markets itself as a «luxury apartment». Either the word luxury is not regulated in the apartment rental industry or it is defined(for living) as something quite differently then what you would find in the dictionary. Waterstone boasts that it has a «24 hour fitness center». This is a room with 3 treadmills, dumbbells that go up to something like 30 lbs in weight and one of those multipurpose pieces of equipment. Call it what it is, it’s a «Fitness Room». No pool, no hot tub, etc.(Not that I would want them), but I would think this is a standard feature with luxury apts. Before moving to Waterstone, we noticed railroad tracks outside of our window. I asked the rental office how frequently the train passes through. They told me, «other tenants say bout 3 times per day.» I work from home, and would estimate that the train comes by about 12 times a day. The trains shake the apartment as they pass and the noise is quite deafening if you have your windows open. The gas from our unit’s water heater spontaneously began leaking in our apartment. Maintenance said it can happens with natural shifting in the building. Negative, I’m betting it was caused by the trains. Floors are very thin. We hear our neighbors walking upstairs. And hear people walking down the hallways. Was told our carpet was new before we moved in. I vacuumed immediately after moving in. My vacuum picked up a ton of sand in the closet and around the kitchen. Incredibly, I vacuumed for 2 hours(accurate estimate) because the vacuum was continually picking up debris after each«pass.» There are a steady flow of notices reporting car thefts. This is quite troubling considering that these are occurring inside a locked underground garage, where tenants have«clickers» to enter and exit the heated garage. The one good thing I will say about the apartment complex are its tenants. It may just be the«MN Nice», but my neighbors are great and nearly every person I have met is extremely nice and pleasant. One last thing. The apartment says that it is located in the city of Minnetonka. However, half of my mail and online searches say I live in Hopkins. What’s up with that?
