Stay away, far away. 1. They typically stock their ammo from other shops in and out of town. That’s why it’s so expensive. 2. The few times I’ve been in and asked to see a pistol, they don’t clear it first. They just handed it to me and I dropped the mag and cleared it myself. 3. They claim to not be shooting at the makeshift range they have on site. I’ve been concerned about this because high shots could come down in my yard where my kids play. Well it finally happened. We heard them shooting and then heard rounds falling in the yard. Stay away from these guys. I’m going to call every regulatory agency I can next week about them. In my opinion I would much rather deal with Randy at Elite Gun and Pawn near Walgreen’s and CVS. Better prices all around and Randy and his staff are HONEST!

My interactions with the business are as follows: I’ve had several rifles serviced by Swamp Fox on two occasions over the last six months, I’ve bought some urgently needed ammo from them, plus they facilitated a dealer transfer for me. Their gunsmith, Daryl, did good, competent work for me in a timely fashion. More specifically I had him install several flash hiders. No issues with anything. I appreciated the care he took with my guns, to even include handling them with latex gloves the entire time. They charge $ 55 an hour for their services. I would definitely go back for more gunsmithing needs.
