This is my families go to restaurant for Italian. Owners are personable and welcoming. Food is great. Penne Carino is out of this world. If you haven’t been there go!

Was upset to read the Poughkeepsie Journal article that featured all the restaurant reviews in the area to find out that Tiramisu had some violations including smoking in the kitchen!!! I think I may have to wait to go back for a while. I’m sure, at least I hope, that all the violations have been corrected since the review came out but still can’t be sure. The food is still really good but I’m a little hesitant now.

Bought a carrot cake from the bakery and all 5 people who were given a slice said it was too sweet and no one could finish eating their cake. Brought the cake back to the bakery and was told that’s the way the cake is made and there was nothing they could do about it. No refund was offered.

Just ok here for food. The bakery is better than the restaurant.

Went here for lunch the other day and to grab a few pastries for home, but wasn’t thrilled with them when I got home. Ordered pizza for lunch… it was pretty good. The Caesar salad was overdressed and expensive for soggy lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes. Dessert here used to always be great, but something must have changed. The rainbow cookies were dry and stale, and the cannolis had way too much cinnamon oil in them… like big red gum on steroids. Sad, because I think with a few changes it could be a great place.

If you are Italian and are looking for a good bakery, look elsewhere. I cannot speak to the restaurant(I only had a mediocre stromboli there once with some friends that was so tough I thought I might choke if I continued to attempt to eat it). I once bought a really tasty, fresh cake here as a last-minute birthday cake. I was happy to be able to get something on such short notice, and I did not have to wait long for the cake. I was even more surprised that the cake tasted good. I’ll only stop at Tiramisu’s bakery if I’m in a pinch and if non-Italian friends/family are to be served. Everyone expresses disappointment in the bland, sometimes stale Italian cookies(like the ones I bought yesterday as I optimistically hoped for the best), messily-structured fruit tarts, and refrigerant-tasting pastries. I’d like to further add that the high-schoolers working here don’t seem to give a crap about their jobs. I don’t know why it takes 20 minutes for me to buy four pastries and a pound of cookies.

Food is not worth the money at ALL! Food was cold and very tasteless. Save your money.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Hudson Valley! The food is authentic and the service is terrific. Ask for Artie or Frank and send them my regards. You won’t ever be disappointed.

Food is mediocre at best. This fat old Guinea thinks he’s owner of a midtown award winning restaurant. He came to my table and talked down on me. If I wasn’t with my family I prob would have whooped his ass in his own place and definitely would have told him he needs to get over himself since all he owns is a cubicle pizzeria in a plaza in hopewell junction. He obviously has a thing for young pretty ladies, which who doesn’t, but so badly he can’t keep his mouth shut to your girlfriend or not hire them. I know know why his old partner left him, cause he’s a jerk off. If you don’t mind being cramped within inches next to someone else or maybe being harassed by a fake Guinea owner and enjoy mediocre food then this is the place for you. If you come from the Bronx or Yonkers or anywhere where there is real Italian food then DONOTGOHERE. Ps… I’m the most easy going person you’ll meet. Might not sound like it since you don’t know me and I’m ranting about some random fat Guinea but it was that insulting where he deserves every bit of insult as well as a smack to his face to set him back to reality. And Italians don’t be insulted by Guinea im 100% Italian, he just is a Guinea and resembles a Guinea pig.

I’ve never had dinner here so I’m writing this review solely on their bakery. I’ve ordered two cakes from them, one for my sons birthday and the other recently for my sister in laws baby shower, both cakes were not only delicious, they were beautiful! The person I worked with, Christina, was so helpful and took the time to sit down and help put both cakes together. She was friendly, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Tiramisu really went above and beyond with both cakes, I provided images for both cakes and they worked with it to decorate the cake to match the image perfectly. I would definitely recommend tiramisu for any special occasion cake!

Tiramisu is a cute place with a large menu. It’s the kind of place with reliable OK food. Friendly service, if a bit slow. I will keep going to try different dishes. It has been in business a long time… a good sign!

The food is very good here. I’ve had a couple different chicken dishes that were delicious. The place is kind of corny and definitely dated. The staff is usually nice, but often seems under-trained. We go here for special occasions sometimes. It’s a nice evening. That said, don’t go here if you’re in a hurry to get anywhere.

Excellent food and service. Have not eaten in the restaurant yet but every time we order to pick-up, everything is fantastic. Very full and tasty dessert cases, excellent pizza.

Highly recommend their calamari — it is really fresh and tasty! Pizza is good — I really like their plain pies and pies with just one topping. As with many other places I’m sure when you add more toppings, the pizza just becomes soggy and sloppy… As for the pastries, I’ve definitely had better. Not quite fond of their Italian cookies, canolies ok, black and whites pretty good. I haven’t had their cakes, so can’t provide much feedback on that. One thing that annoyed me is the past few times I’ve been there the waitress tried to upsell me and tell me it’s not enough food. First time I listened to her and took a ton of food home, second time I ignored her advice. Overall good pizza and fantastic calamari, would definitely return! Ps — I think their food is much better than the place across the street — La Torretta

Nice ambience and very slow table service. Excellent calamari. Very good pasta. 45 minute wait for a «high steak», which I ordered medium well and it arrived medium rare. I happen to like medium rare, so I chose not to wait longer and I ate half the steak. The long wait caused me to lose my appetite. But neither the waiter nor management apologized for the very long wait. I guess the lesson learned here is to not order a steak in a pasta house. Also, drinks were very overpriced. $ 8 for half a glass of wine and $ 9 for a Corona beer. Lesson learned here is to drink at home, not Tiramisu. $ 70 for two considering the service, etc. is very overpriced. I think I’ll stick with the pastries.

Cute restaurant setting but food was ok Pros: — love the lights hanging from the ceiling(made it a cute romantic place) — has a bakery connected to it! — quick service(my water was never empty) — free bread!!! Good warm bread too! — food portions are large Cons: — the pizza was disappointing. Forgot which one we got but it was one of their specialty pizzas that had sausage, ham, pepperoni. A bit soggy and was way too salty — calamari was chewy/odd tasting — asked for more bread but waitress never brought another basket(#fatgirlproblems) Low rating due to the food quality. However, their desserts looked scrumptious
