Hampton Inn

Was placed here via Montgomery Aviation. Everything just right except no dry cleaning out service available. No problem. Did laundry in the washing machines, hang dry and iron. All is well. Nice room, as usual at Hampton Inns nationwide. All amenities here. Nice bedding, etc., internet, tv… the usual. Helpful staff. About 5 miles from Montgomery airport. Thanks folks. I would sure stay again. Almost forgot… LOTS elec outlets bedside. Best I have had anywhere. This is fabulous. Thanks Hampton Inns nationwide.

We had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was excellent and breakfast was great! Would definitely stay again.

Showed up around 9 pm. Went for a jog in their gym. The temp was 90* when I walked in, 88 after I propped the door open during my run. Their music in the lobby was loud. Not sure when it turned off, wasn’t on in the morning. Breakfast was great, typical of a Hampton which is a good thing!

Really nice hotel, wide hallways comfortable beds, cold air. Really liked the value of the hotel, staff was very friendly. Soft drinks are 3.00 to purchase, that’s the only negative.

The service here is a disaster. I called a few days prior to arriving to make sure they would have a crib ready in my room. After 8 hours if traveling with my 1 year old we were ready to crash. We went to our room after the clerk, Samuel, said our room had the crib in it. Sure enough it didn’t. Also the room had an annoying noise coming from the air conditioner. I called down to Samuel and complained and asked for another room. He said he would be right up to see if the room had an annoying sound. 15 mins pass and I go back downstairs pretty upset. They ended up putting us in another room with no fridge or microwave. When the clerk unfolded the crib the mattress didn’t fit at all. The warning label on the crib specifically state that is a choking hazard. After making a big stink they mysteriously found another crib an hour later. I would have rated them a one star but the manager agreed to comp me that night. Horrible organization and customer service. Also very loud at night. Teenagers and adults run the halls at all hours with no one enforcing quiet hours. If you need a good night sleep go somewhere else.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Looks like this location was recently renovated. It was very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast selection was nice as well. They had cereal, milk, toast, muffins, oatmeal, juice, boiled eggs, sausage, and several other things. My family and I prefer to stay at Hampton Inn whenever we travel and we’ve always had good experiences with them.

Judging by the area, this is definitely one of the nicer (and newer) hotels around. You don’t have many options around here, but this is a decent choice and its in the Hilton network so all the better. There is a free airport shuttle, but the hotel is actually a hike from Montgomery proper. Use only if you need to stay close to the airport.
