Frank’s Pizza

Disappointed. Apparently they don’t have an online menu but there is one online. Told them I saw a sandwich online and they gave me a sandwich I would not have ordered if I had known what it was. Too late to go back to the store and they won’t fix it tomorrow. Won’t be going back.

Let me just say once I like a place I give them my business ALOT. The Pizza IS GREAT !!! This place actually appreciates their customers. the tortellni pizza OMG amazing !!!

After years of being a customer, I am finally done with this pizza place. Their quality had gone completely down. I have noticed the downward spiral of their quality for quite some time now, but the other day, Frank’s lost a long term customer. I ordered a plain Sicilian pie, but it was more of a thin crust. This issue and the fact that to much sauce was used, you could barely even pick up a slice without it falling apart. The sauce itself had a very peculiar taste. They also cut back on the quality of the cheese and the amount that they use. They used to be good and consistent, I just don’t know what happened to them.

Have been coming to this place for years. The staff is great and the food is awesome. Great mussels, pizza and desserts. What prompted me to write a review today was the fact that I just had the best tuna sub ever from there.

I’m not sure what kind of sauce they’re using for their pizza, but I would rather lick someone’s balls than have that burnt sauce taste in my mouth. Never again.

Service is great. Pizza is superb! They will basically make anything you ask for. I have ordered many things from the menu and it’s all great like their pizza. All the locals eat here! There are other pizza places in town that do good but this is the best for sure!

Came here due to a glowing recommendation from a friend, but was slightly disappointed in the quality of the two pizzas we ordered. Certainly not a bad place to dine if you’re in the area, but definitely nothing more than your average slice of corner store pizza.

Just horrible went here 1 time never will go again! I’ll go across the street for my pizza! It’s also where I work! Yep I work at Joeys and giving franks a bad review!

They have medium size pies which are the perfect so me to eat by myself while laying on my couch with no pants on watching orange is the new black, contemplating on where I’m going in life. Why am I single? How many licks would it take to get to the center of my tootsie pop?
Give this pizzeria a try!

Being a local to Hopatcong I believe this to be the best Pizzeria in the area. I have ordered from other local pizzerias but this is the place I keep ordering from. We’ve also tried their salads and pasta dishes which have not disappointed. Prices are fair and service is quick as well.

I’ve been eating Frank’s pizza for at least 15 years, well before they moved from their old location. Their pizza is not only exceptional, it’s also consistent good… The other places in town are hit or miss depending on who is making the pizzas on that given day.
Cant say much about the other items on the menu, but their pizza gets my approval.

When me and my wife were buying our new house we found this pizzeria when we searched google maps we tried it and loved it and thought «could all the pizzerias around here be this good?» tried a few others and they def. were no where near as good as franks. So franks is def the best pizzeria in the area, and has great service.

I am writing this review many years after the fact. I have eaten here many, many times throughout my childhood/​high school years; I’m not sure how my family got into this place as it is not very close to our home, but we did, am I’m glad.
I have very fond memories of this Frank’s. The garlic bread is delicious; you can see all the little bits of real garlic sprinkled inside. The salads are your everyday, run-​of-​the-​mill salad. The one thing I must rave about is the chicken sorrentina. Perfectly cooked chicken, delicious, creamy vodka sauce, and your choice of pasta, topped with mozzarella and parmasan.
I’ve never actually had the pizza here (go figure), but it always looked really yummy and fresh.
If this place is anything like it was 6 years ago, then I would recommend it to snyone looking for an inexpensive meal. It is incredibly group/​family friendly, and the service is fine.

I am giving this place 4 stars based on the fact that I haven’t been in New Jersey in 10 years and still rave about this place to my boyfriend. I grew up in Hopatcong and I went to Frank’s Pizza when it was across the street from where it is now and its current location. I have the best memories of this place. Great atmosphere, amazing people, and great pizza. My favorite was the chicken, broccoli, and garlic pizza. I don’t know if they still make it anymore, but if you get the chance definitely try them out.

Good for pizza, but other than that, I will probably pass. I just moved here about four months ago, and I’ve tried several items, and am not pleased. The pizza is good. I wish they delivered. For sandwiches, they are tasteless and lacking on content. I find myself taking bite after bite of bread and hoping I will get a good bite. I ordered a chicken roll this evening, and I think it sat out all day — maybe yesterday as well. The staff behind the counter always seem grumpy.

Well, I don’t much care for the pizza here, simply because the dough is very floury and dry/​hard, but the rest of their menu is absolutely delicious! The restaurant is clean and nice inside. The staff is very friendly. They make the best chicken Caesar wrap I’ve ever eaten. My kids love the spaghetti and chicken fingers. The cheese steak is great. Everything we’ve gotten here is delicious (except, again, we don’t much care for the pizza). They don’t deliver, but other than that, they’re wonderful!

When we first moved to town everyone said a must is this place. Unfortunatly we were highly dissapointed. It was OK. I am full blown Italian and know GREAT pizza from OK pizza and this was just OK. We found a much better one in town. As for the sit and eat resturant area its very nice and bright. Staff is great I was just not blown away with the food at all.

Stopped here on our way back to Milford from JFK airport. It was Saturday night, in the summer, and it was fairly late about 8:30 and the four of us didn’t want fast food so we pulled into the parking lot and checked this place out.
This establishment does not serve alcohol, but there is a liquor store next door and they don’t mind if you bring your own beverage, so a friend of mine and I went next door and bought a nice big bottle of Sam Adams.
I ordered a panini with prosciutto, mozzarella and peppers. It was very good. My friend made her own version of a seafood poorboy with fried clams. OMG. It was so good! My other friend had a chicken sandwich and it had balsamic vinaigrette on it which made the bread very soggy so she ended up just having the chicken and peppers. My other friend had the vegetable sub, which wasn’t too bad.
The service was good and the food wasn’t bad. I would go back again and I think I may this summer.
