I was brought here by Deirdre C. in search of some underwear, and I left with a $ 200 jacket that was reduced to $ 20. You heard me. I couldn’t NOT buy it! With deals like this, what’s not to like?

I admit a major bias… I enjoy shopping at Kohl’s. So much that I even got a job at one of the stores a couple years ago for seasonal work. It was an awesome place, and the people were wonderful. In retail people burn out fast, but makes a difference when the management truly care about their staff. However, the pressure to get credit card applications can be intense, so be gentle on the cashiers when they ask if you want to open an account and you’re not interested. Sometimes so hard to get those quotas. This store in Hooksett is pretty good. Looks like it finally got the update done with the customer service counter moved from rear of the store up to the front. And they got rid of the horrible, anti-ergonomic carts(looked more like a collapsible grocery cart with a long hanging net bag) that anyone over 5′ couldn’t use without getting a crick in their back. They were just a whacky design. The newer ones are much more practical and the bag area is more spacious to puts oodles more goodies into! Marketing 101 in the works. We were looking for some new baby supplies for a friend. Most of the store was fairly tidy, but the infants’ dept was a holy mess. Found myself picking up bits and pieces and putting them back in place. LOL We got nearly $ 100 worth of stuff besides the baby gear, couple Animal Planet dog throws on half price and a few knick knacks for stocking stuffers. With all the in-store discounts, Kohl’s cash from an online purchase last week and 30% off coupon(charge card perk) we paid less than $ 20. Ridiculous how much they let you stack coupons and discounts. But it keeps people coming back for more. Good business model.

Typical Kohl’s, good selection on fashions with better quality items. Has some linens, kitchen, household selections. Prices fair, but uses sales gimmicks to get you to buy or entice you in. Good offers through having Kohl’s card.

Had a great experience here this week while on vacation! My watch broke the 2nd band in a few weeks and I’ve given up on Timex, a little Google research while on vacation led me to a particular few models listed at Kohls and Amazon. Kohls had what I wanted but it was $ 130 and Azn was $ 62.50. Jess(Kohls clerk) told me to check with Customer Service but their price-matching policy was ANYWHERE! Sure enough walked out with the watch for $ 62.50 and a $ 10 off certificate good on a future purchase. Also Jess advised me that Kohls has a forever money-back warranty so that even if I do something stupid to the watch I can get my money back or a replacement. How can it get better than this? My hat’s off to Jess for helping me with this info and making a happy customer!

I like this Kohl’s and the location which is conveniently located off I-93 at Exit 10. Kohl’s always puts on great sales, especially the early bird and night owl sales, when I gotten great deals. I’ve always found what I needed including a good selection of dress shirts & pants, polo shirts, shorts, nice shoes(love the digital price tags), cologne, and other items. The clearance racks definitely are worth checking out too! Recently, I did some shopping here and found some striped polo shirts for $ 11.99, cool sport shirts at 60 percent off, and Union Bay shorts for $ 14.99. The good prices and sales will keep me coming back to Kohl’s.
