Fast food people don’t get paid enough to care, and this establishment is par for the course. That said, the staff are cool with me because I’m a local. Still, it’s so typical fast food. No one cares and no one cares that you know they don’t care.

I have one word of advice. Straighten up your act serving that nasty crap you call food or close down your business. It’s disgusting. No wonder no cars are seen on your parking lot.

Because I’m a local, I frequent this DQ more often than I would otherwise like. The service is so sloooooooooow. It takes 15 minutes to make two banana splits… and the splits consist only of banana, ice cream, chocolate/pineapple/and strawberry topping… no nuts and no whipped cream and the amount of ice cream is about 1⁄3 less than a full serving. But the most frustrating part is the slow service. I’ve often been told to pull around to the parking area to wait and wait and wait.

Stopped for a quick meal and ended up eating one of the best burgers. Toasted bun and fresh veggies. Hot fries. Just a small town Diary Queen.

The staff was indifferent here, at best. I ordered a chicken basket and it took a bit longer than I would have liked. I was willing to overlook that, however. Food was a bit bland, but it wasn’t bad. What really made me angry was when I went back to order dessert. I ordered a peanut butter blast. The girl who took my order tried to make it after a few minutes, but then another cashier/worker apparently said to her it wasn’t right. They tossed it and after a couple of minutes, the other girl began to make another one. She started, left it sitting on the counter, and went to go make other orders. Well over four minutes later, she finally came back to my dessert and finished it. When she handed it to me, the ice cream on the bottom was already melted and soupy(I wonder if she thought the HOT fudge wouldn’t melt ICECREAM?). If I had wanted hot fudge and peanut butter in cold milk, I could have made that at home for a lot less than four bucks. Pathetic. Avoid this place like the plague.

It’s a DQ what could be wrong? The location is close to the interstate easy to get to and leave. The employees address very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. They even get your order right as busy as they are. The blizzards are great the root beer floats bring back memories. The ice cream hadn’t changed in decades.

I must preface this by saying the person working the counter was cheerful and pleasant, even if the rest of the experience was not so much. We pulled into this DQ on the way to Dallas for a weekend get away and wanted a quick treat on the way. Little did I know they would have to pluck the chicken for my basket before they cooked it! After waiting a bit for our orders to complete, I get out to the car to find 4 boxes of various items. 2 contained chicken strips that were so hot we had to wait 20 minutes for them to cool off before we attempted to eat them. The other 2 contained fries and what should have been texas toast but was really just a piece of white bread slabbed with butter and thrown in the box. The chicken was ok, after it cooled down, but was actually better when it was cold. ive been to better DQ’s before, and probably won’t be back to this one.

They barely put any goodies in my Blizzard– it tasted like vanilla soft serve. Booooo. They were OUTOFNAPKINS, how does that happen?! I felt like I was going to throw up exactly 20 minutes after finishing my ice cream. Ick, yuck, poo. Keep driving, there are enough DQ’s in Texas.
