Columbia Tree Service

Our Family has used Columbia Tree about a dozen times. We have a large property that needs constant work.
Kris Zarza has been fantastic to work with. He and his crew are pleasant, efficient and concerned about satisfying us, every time the come. They have also responded quickly to crises (8 down trees from a wind storm, etc.).
They are reasonably priced and always do what they say they are going to do.
I cannot imagine a finer service company to work with.

We recently bought a house on two acres with about one acre of forest that had not been taken care of for many years. There were many dead trees, unstable trees, and broken trees. Columbia Tree Service was highly recommended to us by our contractor who is doing remodeling for us. We couldn’t be happier with them. The owner Kris is very professional, helpful, accommodating to our schedule, and easy to work with. Because of the amount of work to be done, a crew has been there twice and will come a third time later this summer. The men were on time, well informed about the project, professional, competent, and very easy to work with. They did an excellent job taking down the problem trees, trimming some trees, and leaving healthy trees. They were careful to preserve the forest area as we requested. We give Kris and Columbia Tree Service the highest recommendation.

As an officer of the HOA Board of a large condominium complex in Hood River, I started working with Kris Zorza, the owner of Columbia Tree Service, about 7 years ago to assess the trees on the property, and then to prune or remove trees and large bushes as necessary. Because of this evaluation and preventive work, we have never experienced trees or their limbs falling during a rain or snow storm. Also, due to Kris’ extensive knowledge and experience, we have not found it necessary to hire another expert to assess the health of the trees, thus saving us money.
Kris and his crew show up when they are expected, are courteous to the occupants near where they are working, and finish in a timely manner leaving the work area in great shape. Because of Kris’ «hands-​on» involvement, our complex looks like a park — beautiful! — with many varieties of healthy, well-​shaped trees. I can’t recommend Columbia Tree Service highly enough.

My husband called Columbia tree service and spoke with Chris, the owner. Chris set up an appointment and showed up promptly. His crew came out at the decided upon date and time and did all the work. They were fast and efficient and courteous. They even cut the trees into manageable sized pieces, which my husband had said he could handle. After the cutting, the men cleared out all the debris, leaving our property looking neat and clean. We are very happy with the excellent service that Columbia tree service provided. We recommend them highly and will call them when we’re ready to address more over-​growth issues on another part of our property.

For over the past ten years, I have used Columbia Tree Service on many occasions for both big and and little jobs for my home and business needs and have always had a terrific five star experience. Chris, the owner, was so helpful and easy to work with to address all of my concerns. The crew was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job making my properties look their best.
