Came to Portland to Eat and Drink. Was referred to AniChe by the nice folks over at Naked Wines. Very interesting flight with a lot of Italian and Bordeaux blends with a perfect little nosh platter to pair w each wine. Almonds and cheese for the two whites, and cheese, dried cherries, and chocolate for the three reds. Our pourer/host, Bridgette, was informative and very pleasant. She had 4 – 5 other parties, but was attentive to everyone. We were short on time and she helped us out by pouring with no downtime between wines. Wish we could’ve spent more time in such a great environment.

Visiting Hood River for the first time and a local recommended this spot. The niece of the owner served us and she was so knowledgable! She answered so many of our questions and served us some incredible wine. My favorite was Three Witches! Plus, they paired the wine with food! You feel pretty great when you walk away with wine from this place. We will definitely be back!

That Sirius is seriously delicious! I am so glad they now have a tasting room in HR. BUT… If you have not made it to their winery, you must go! The views alone are worth that drive. It smelled like fresh cut pine and smashed grapes inside the doors or this tasting room. The walls are painted a sinful red(to match the bottle labels) and it feels kind of like stepping into the red room of pain(50 Shades of Grey… you know what I’m talking about ladies ;-). From the street it can be hard to spot. We knew where it was supposed to be… but we might have turned around in a few circles trying to find the door. Hopefully they put some kind of sign out front to help usher folks inside.
