If there was a such thing as negative 5 stars. This is in regards to the Pharmacy Dept. I checked in to pick up my meds and the clerk tells me in about 15 – 20 mins it should be ready, we’ll page you on the overhead. I knew they were pretty slammed so i decided to give them a little more time and went shopping about for some stuffs. 40 mins go by, nothing. Finally an hour, i check back and the clerk says«oh! Its ready» walks away from the counter, comes back and says«oh, um. We’re out of stock.» At this point Im heated. I waited an hour for them to tell me they were out of stock of my meds? ABSOLUTELYNOTACCEPTABLE.

Most inconsiderate pharmacy staff I’ve ever encountered. I stood there for over 10 minutes before being aknowledged. Then I was skipped over for the locals. I have worked in a Walgreens pharmacy and I know how easy it is. These people are incompetent.

I would like to commend Mike(Pharmacy Manager) for his great customer service. It has always been a pleasant experience for me when picking up my scripts. The technicians in the late evening shifts exceed their customer service requirements. Mike is always available to the customers and offers his assistance. The service is fast but yet they treat you as a customer should be treated.

I walked out of here with the awesome selection of cleaning material for my vehicle. I was surprise by all the choices this drugstore has. Walked out with more than I needed but very convenient for me to knock out 2 birds with one stone. I’d like to add that there is a photo shop here with a bunch of electronics to choose from and a drive through. Very fitting for customers that need to be in and out. Lots of parking, surprisingly.

Terrible customer service at the photo department! A girl named Precious(who did not even acknowledge my presence) was told to help me with my passport pictures. She did NOT say anything to me after taking my picture and just started talking to her coworkers. I paid for my photos and left. I am extremely disappointed. Even though they are close by where I live, I will find somewhere else to do my photo taking/printing.

WALGREENS N. SCHOOLST. is the WORSTDRUGSTOREEVER!!! We picked up my son’s antibiotics today and the pharmacist Mike said that the eye ointment was out of stock. He promised to call the other Walgreens to see if they have it. He said he’ll give us a call by 6:45pm! No call was received so I called and spoke with Amanda! She said Mike left for the day already. Now Amanda said that she’ll check the other Walgreens and will call me by 10pm. It’s now 10:45pm! NOAMANDA! I understand that it gets busy and hectic! But please don’t promise your customers something that you can’t keep! Terrible customer service! Just horrible!!!

Typical Walgreens, only thing not typical is the complete lack of any form of customer service from the group of young ladies working there. I had to create a bit of a scene to finally get one of them to help me. Unless you know exactly what you want and know exactly where it is, go elsewhere.

Although I live closer to another Walgreens, I still come here because they have a drive through pharmacy. They have a great pharmacy team who work quickly to fill prescriptions and always exceed my expectations.

This is for the Kamele at the beauty department. She always offers coupons and promos that would help you save money for your store brand makeup! She is very understanding when returning or exchanging makeup that has been opened/used. Finding parking is easy(unlike Longs across the street), which is a big plus when you’re in a rush.

Twice this Walgreens has screwed up on my photo orders. I just put in my order when I get a message on my phone saying it was cancelled. So I try it again later and it goes through. But the photos I picked up were incomplete by comparing to my account order. Then I got another message saying to pick up my photo order which I already did but I went in anyway to see if they had the rest of my photos. Stupid guy at the photo counter didn’t know what I was talking about, I even tried showing him the set of photos I picked up and the photos that were NOT printed that was in my order on my account(via my phone) to show how much they messed up. I also told him the phone message from them was wrong because I already picked them up because, duh, I’m waving the damn incomplete photo prints in front of them. Apparently, another reviewer here also had the same problem about automated picture order messages on their phone too. I’m never printing pictures there again because I understand mistakes happen, but the poor customer service just pissed me off even when I had proof.

The parking lot seems to be some sort of gathering place for low-income modified car enthusiasts, loud moped riders, and all of their pals. Come take a visit around midnight and you’ll see what I mean. Walgreens needs to step up their game and enforce the no-loitering policy. All of these delinquents should be put behind bars and their vehicles should be melted.

Received extremely poor customer service at the photo department from this associate named Klei. I kept receiving multiple automated calls from a photo order that I had already picked up from over a month ago. So I went down to Walgreens to double check if I had picked up my complete order. It was not the automated calls that bothered me but it was the attitude that I received from Klei at the counter that bothered me when I told him that I had received a call to pick up my order. He just stared at me as if I was there to trouble him and said«so what, all the calls are automated». An awkward pause later, he decided to ask for my name and phone number to check on the computer and told me that I have picked up everything. I left Walgreens feeling like I just made him do unnecessary work and my business there was not appreciated.

There’s a lot of parking! So happy they opened one by my house. I come here for everything! Especially my puppy pads. I recommend you signing up to be a member, it can save you a lot of money and it only takes like 3 minutes to sign up

AWFUL!!! Waited in line(was only person) after they acknowledge me because they were talking story. Then they helped the drive-thru customer that came after me first… Then the attitude… Never again! Can’t beat Pearl City Longs…

What kind of Walgreens doesn’t sell alcohol?! This one… But, that is the only reason they loose a star because this Walgreens is clean, convenient and always well-stocked! I recently moved my prescriptions here because it is so close to my house and immediately liked it more than Longs. They were willing to call my old pharmacy, check in with my insurance company and troubleshoot when one of the prescriptions wouldn’t fill. It didn’t take long at all and they were very sweet about it, even when I realized I had forgotten my insurance card! They had pretty good sales and I signed up to get points rewards, which can also apply to prescriptions! I had to grab a make-up essential while I was there and was a little disappointed when they did not have Physicians Formula brand cosmetics but other than that, they seemed to have most major brands. They also had some good natural brands of face wash including say yes to carrots(yes, that is really a brand) and Burt’s bees. I am looking forward to this being my neighborhood pharmacy!

8.19.13. I used to love this location, mainly because they carry a lot of makeup brands that you can’t find in Longs Drugs(CVS), Walmart or elsewhere on the island. For example the Fergie collaboration products with Wet n’ Wild, Sinful Colors nail polish and other promotional/season products. However, I’ve come to realize that this place is always hit or miss for me. I think it’s a lot about timing and planning to come as soon as a new product comes out. I hope the next time I need to come here I will get lucky! Unilocal 365 Challenge: #230/365

I just did a simple exchange. I was pleased at the return/exchange policy but the girl was confused as to what to do. She has been working at this location for 2 years. I guess not many people return at this location? Idk.

I was skeptical when Walgreens built its first store near Ala Moana Center. Since then, they have set up shop in several places in Oahu. Now this Walgreens is near Kamehameha Shopping Center. It’s quite comparable to Longs Drugs with everyday items and food stuff too. More jobs for the local economy really. The last time I came in here was for the annual flu shot. I don’t really come in here for anything else, other than to price compare what the nearby Longs has. If it is cheaper here, then I will buy from Walgreens. Private lot with plenty of parking on most days.

My loyalty was always to Longs Drugs until they were sold to CVS. I always considered Longs Drugs a local company even though they were based out of Walnut Creek, CA. But now, I’m indifferent since it provides jobs. Walgreens is located on the old site of Kam Bowl, which was another reason why I was a hesitant to be a customer. So many memories about the place. I really only go to Walgreens for one thing — freshly ground coffee. And when I mean fresh, I’m talking about a machine that grinds the coffee beans and serves a good coffee in 3 minutes. Every once in a while I’ll buy some snacks. They always have good deals there. Parking is so much better than navigating the Kamehameha Shopping Center traffic. Sorry, Longs.

I had no idea we even had a Walgreens in Hawaii until last week. We needed a canned food to donate to the YMCA Kid’s Fest at the Bishop Museum, so we stopped here. Hate to sound cheap, but everything was a bit pricey, but I guess they need to charge for staying open 24-hours. This particular Walgreens is not in a good part of town — I know I wouldn’t venture into this store after hours. What where they thinking! I was going to buy Spam Musubi for my son but it looked pretty bloated and greasy and discolored under the warming lights — uh… we’ll pass.
