Waialae Iki Park

Really? No slide no Merry-​go-​round no basic old school playground … Paid someone to create a dangerous not so kid friend apparatus junk playground … Kids played on this spinning wheel and each one fell off and had to be attended to … 12 yr olds too… Not enough shade semi-​dirty toilets that could be more Kid friendly and hands free … Did I mention no slide? Lol… A good playground is also adult friendly… Because keiki like play with mom and dad too. Rope climb was lame. Spinning inertia pot seat spun kid right out on head but not my kid I just save her from getting sick.
Someone scammed the community. How about kids Basketball hoop… Are tetter-​totters out of style? Ahhh No slide? Really? Lower the monkey bars How about a keiki soccer net on edge of the field? The upper corner grass area should be a fenced in Dog Park because a lot of families have both kids and dogs … the only thing good were the kids … And parents all Friendly and fun and social.

This park is a great spot to let the kids burn energy. It is the only one that I have found with a spinning wheel thing that spins around like a miniature marry-​go-​round without seats.
There is also a basketball and tennis court if that is your thing, as well as a large open field that I have seen being used for soccer, boomerang and Frisbee among other things.
All in all, great family spot.

I give this park 5 stars for cleanliness, awesome equipments & nice bathrooms! My 2 year old had a blast & no one else was there! There were so many new rides & equipment, I even had a blast!!!
We will be coming back for sure!
