Touch of Beauty began with the recommendation from another Salon who told me to go to Lisa because the
esthetician goes to see Lisa. I have been to see Lisa over for 4 years. Lisa takes care of my face, hair, and gave me tattooed eye liner and Brows in which I am so happy with. She has improved my hair with new color and style, and cleanses my face from skin tags, blemishes, sun spots to rejuvenate my skin to a healthy glow. She is my one stop beauty girl. I have brought over my sisters and friends and now they too have a healthier skin glow … Talk to Lisa and explain your needs. She understands and can see what looks great on a person.

BEWARE: I had the same experience as Carol B! Exactly the same! And now I will be going to another location to fix what she has done. How the hell do you just start tattooing someone without going over medical history, a consent form, discussing what you want, offering additional topical, etc. I thought I was in a 3^rd world country for goodness sake! Don’t tell me you know to make «my eye» beautiful without consulting my wishes first. Then tell me to stop blinking. Hello! It hurts you added NO TOPICAL and you’re flooding my eyes with water and Vaseline. It’s going all over my face down my neck and its just one big mess! This was only supposed to be a touch up on my eye liner and I turned out more bruised than when I initially got my eyebrows and liner done 2 years ago. Plus I felt rushed. Returning is no option! Facial Tattooing is a BIG DEAL! And it should be treated as such. Take it from me pay the extra $ 100 – 400 to get it done right and by a real professional.

A year and a half later, my eyebrows still look great. I do prefer to fill them in a little darker, but I’m still very happy with the shape, and if I got them retouched, it’d be way too dark for far too long.
Three big things though, and I’m stuck between two and three stars. Two for would not experience again, but three because my eyebrows still look fabulous.
1) Uneven wings.
I didn’t notice at first that the wings of my eyeliner were uneven. One side reached closer to the crease of my lid than the other. Really barely noticeable, but when I asked a girlfriend if my sides were even, she could tell right away, only because she was looking for the answer.
2) Fast fade
The eyeliner faded right away. It probably lasted about 3 – 4 months before I was back to drawing my eyeliner on every day. I’m actually glad it’s gone, since the color didn’t stick and the grey wasn’t very flattering.
3) Not the shape I asked for
As much as I like the eyebrow shape she gave me, I never forgot that it wasn’t the shape I originally wanted. I brought in a picture of what I look like with my brows filled in, and she just gave me what must be her preferred custom shape, hopefully specific to my face type. I’ve comforted myself by deferring to her professional judgement, but it still irks me to think of what I might’ve looked like had I got exactly what I came for. Then again, it might’ve backfired (as I’m not the professional artist here), so I’m still content with it. People have no idea it’s a tattoo.
Still glad my eyebrows are tattooed, but if I had the opportunity to do it all over again, not sure I would. The biggest problem I have right now is that my shape is so fancy, that if I don’t have full makeup on, I still don’t feel comfortable just walking out my door knowing my eyebrows don’t match my natural face. That was the whole point, wasn’t it?

I must say, after reading all of the mixed reviews and arriving at the bit auspicious location I was very nervous about this. Ive had regular tattoos before but never in the form of permanent makeup. I went in because I had purchased a deal for my eye liner tattoo. Before I went in I heard it was going to be painful! I was so nervous. But, after meeting Lisa she assured me that it wasnt going to hurt. Yeah, right. We had a great consultation where she drew the look on my eye lids to make sure it was what we wanted. She is very opinionated on what she thinks would look good, but hey shes the professional and yes I did agree with what she was saying. So she put the numbing cream on and let it sit for about 20 mins. The longest 20 minutes of my life wondering how much pain I was going to be in. When she started it was AMAZING. I literally felt nothing. Just the vibration from the tattoo machine. She kept pausing to ask me how I was doing and to let her know if it was sore so she could apply another medication. I never did need it. She was very thorough in making sure they both matched and it was a great experience. I highly recommend Lisa. Thank you so much!

I went to Lisa for an permanent eyeliner touch-​up!
I thought I was there just for a consultation, but pretty soon there I was on the table getting vaseline and numbing gel rubbed on my eyes. And in the end, I have to say I was pretty satisfied.
I initially had my permanent eyeliner done from this other lady. That was my first time so I didn’t know how each artist has their own limits as to what they would be willing to do. So this lady wasn’t willing to extend my lines all the way out, the way i usually wear my liner. It’s because even though tattoo eyeliner is semi-​permanent (will fade over time) there may still be some ink when you get older so she didn’t want the lines to droop with age. I respect that. However, i’m only 23 and that was a little too conservative for me.
Lisa is great because she’s not afraid to make the lines thick, or extended for you. She has a good eye for evenness and a steady hand. It didn’t take that long for me to get both top and bottom lids done. Whoever gets the groupon is getting a great deal. I went for a touch up without the groupon so it was $ 150 which is still good! She missed a couple little spots with the ink, but i still get another appointment for the touch-​up which is pretty nice (2 appointments for touchup).

My sister in law paid for my eyebrows (tattoo) for my christmas present. Lisa did an excellent job on my eyebrows and did a beautiful job. Lisa did my sister in laws eyeliner (top and bottom) and did an awesome job. i am finally going back to Lisa to have my eyes done. Can’t wait. Lisa is very personable, friendly and calms any of your worries and stress. i highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to have any tattoos done. She is a very talented make up artist:-)

After such a great experience with my brows, I decided to have Lisa do my eyeliner (something I was nervous about)…but Lisa once again provided outstanding work. This shop is now called Paul Marie — I will always think of it as Touch of Beauty. I looked for Paul Marie to place my review, but no luck. Thank you Lisa! I would send anyone looking for quality work to you!

Lisa was GREAT! Beautiful woman inside out… She calmed me and walked me through every step! Was super nervous after reading the one and only comment when I first googled the name but after going to Unilocal and reading more reviews I was ok with setting up an appointment. Called her on Friday and scheduled for today… Now I have «movie star» eyebrows! =)

Absolutely love this place! Jacque has been doing hair for me, my mom, and my friends for years. Every time I go see Jacque she does an amazing job and I leave the salon looking better than I could have imagined. I have never been styled by anyone else at Touch of Beauty, but they are all very nice, especially Harry! As long as Jacque is willing to cut my hair, this is where I will go!
Plus, JJ’s restaurant next door has really good food, I always get their croissant sandwich after getting my hair done.

Hated it! This was the worst lash extension and permanent make-​up job I’ve ever gotten! The place is dirty and the workmanship is terrible! The pain is so not worth the discounted (sale) price. I would have been better off paying a little more somewhere else and get decent work done!
