I’m addicted to crack… sauce that is. Love the twisted gyro with steak. Reuben press is good too. Freshly made, warm goodness in a pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. And can’t forget the awesomely wonderful crack sauce on top.

Two visits now on Keeaumoku and both ono. Gyro was good, but for me, the Rueben press was new and delish. Warmly pressed flatbread filled pastrami, onions, carrots and holy moly that«crack sauce» is a winner! Better like cilantro because bradda-man likes it on both(all?) dishes. Nom.

Firstly, I’m a big fan of the sausage link with crack sauce. I believe Tiki Truck cook hot dogs the way it should be, which is both hot dog and bread grilled. The sausage used is very meaty with a hint of heat. Add on the relish of tomatoes and shreds of cilantro and a dollop of crack sauce, the sausage crunches when bitten and the sauce and relish refreshes. Secondly, I have talked to the owner and told him to post his locations – either hours gps coordinates or an actual address. I’m not sure if he’s figured out how to find his gps coordinates using his phone or Twitter. I hope he does it because if I can’t find his truck, not very many people can nor will the go out of their way to make the effort.

When this truck rolls in just gotta get it. Hard to decide between tacos and the twisted link. When u sink your teeth into one of these delicacies it feels like popeye eating spinach. You think green papaya in your taco??? But when you eat it it’s like magic the way the flavors blend. If you ever want to see what heaven tastes like try it. I am an onion hater but the way Abe does this you can’t taste it going down. I still order without it though. He has the best hot dog on the island since that shack by compusa closed down. Sorry hanks I’m not into fancy.

It was his third day running the streets of Honolulu when I first tried TIKI Truck. It’s always hard for me to try new places to eat, but this truck did not disappoint. TIKI stands for Taco Inspired Killer Ingredients. It was just proper to try the tacos-I tried all of them! Steak, adobo & jerk tacos! Very simple tortilla, meat, papaya pickles and THE crack sauce as he calls it. You would think that 3 is not enough but they’re very filling, great for snacks or lunch! It was a hit(for me) that I went back for more before he left for the day! Other stuff on the menu: Twisted Chicago Link: think hotdog in a bun. Grilled spicy link, papaya pickles, cherry tomatoes, onions and the crack sauce. I can eat this any day! Twisted Gyro(yee-roh): pita bread, greens, your choice of meat [steak, adobo or jerk chicken] cherry tomatoes and crack sauce. He also makes quesadilla and bahn gyro! A little more about TIKI Truck, he caters and bartends as well, catered the Hawaii 5-O stars and crew. Email him for details! Follow him on twitter and Facebook to know where he will be at! He runs at night as well! Gitchu Grub On!

I love Tiki Truck gyros. The first time I tried food from Tiki Truck was at a farmers market in Kaka’ako, and ever since then I’ve been looking forward to the next time I’m able to eat gyros from there. Abe, the owner, serves up the most delicious gyro filled with meat, various vegetables, and«crack» sauce. The crack sauce is yummy. For $ 6 a gyro, you really can’t go wrong and it’s filling, perfect for lunch. Besides the excellent food, the customer service is also stellar. Abe is a friendly, personable guy who is passionate about the items he serves. The next time you see the Tiki Truck, stop and try the gyro, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been following Tiki Truck(on Twitter) and have been meaning to try it. Today was the day. I saw that he parked in my neighborhood(Makaloa 96814), so I walked over. I found out that he is parked here every Friday! Very cool! I ordered a steak Gyro and a chicken taco. OMG– it was delicious! Sorry, I ate it before I took a photo. I love Cilantro(Hawaii calls it Chinese parsley?), so I knew that I would love it. This is a MUSTTRY, if you haven’t already! 1÷20− Some of my coworkers said that 80% of locals don’t like Cilantro! Is this true? I love it! btw– I have heard someone order it with no cilantro before.
