Cindy and her team are great! It’s not a «spa» massage, it actually is a REAL massage that helps you feel better and get better. They take insurance claims from auto accidents and also a variety of insurance riders. If they are not in a session, they always answer the phone! Such a great experience from start to finish!

Cindy is such incredible woman with a beautiful story and a passion for her art! Don’t come here if you’re looking for some foofoo spa treatment or some shady late night fulfillment; this is the REALDEAL. Therapeutic is the word. Massage is so much more than relaxation… Cindy’s capable hands(and elbows) manipulate fascia in such wonderful ways to treat all kinds of physical ailments. Having gone to school for massage therapy 16 years ago myself, I’ve become quite picky about massage and technique, seeing lesser massage therapists mistake the term«deep tissue» as «just push harder, 20 more dollars please». No, Cindy will work her magic on those tense, injured areas and leave you thinking the taut muscles you’re used to were happily replaced with gel. Personally, my glutes and piriformis felt brand new, like I was walking on soft grass. If you’re having any issues with athletic rehab, car accidents, chronic ailments or acute issues, Cindy and her team of hand-picked, knowledgeable staff are the ones to call. And yes, they take insurance!

I was introduced to Cindy by a friend and I’ve been visiting her for about a year now. Not only does she do regular full body massages, but she also handles insurance cases for injuries stemming from automobile accidents. Immediately upon entering Cindy’s space, one feels relaxed and calm. She seems to know just how much pressure my body needs on whatever day. There’s never been a time when I’ve seen Cindy and not come out of there feeling like I have a new body! And their prices are super reasonable — nice to see a business that is looking to build long term clientele instead of ‘one off’ Groupon deals. Thank you, Cindy, for making me feel awesome!

Ahhhh… a visit to Therapeutic Touch of Health is like an oasis of tranquility amidst the tumult of daily life. Cindy and her associates are not only skilled but gracious and caring. As the name implies, Therapeutic Touch of Health specializes in therapeutic massage. Therapeutic massage differs from relaxation massage in that it is specifically meant to offer a «therapeutic» benefit and may be prescribed by a healthcare provider. For example, someone in physical therapy for an injury might have regular therapeutic massage to loosen muscles, improve muscle tone, and increase flexibility. Likewise, therapeutic massage can be used to supplement wound care, cancer care, psychiatric care, and a variety of other treatments. Owner Cindy Ogata is an incredibly kind person who emanates compassion. Although she is petite, she is surprisingly strong. She is an excellent communicator and you can tell she truly wants the best for her patients. The other massage therapists who work for her are the same way. Cindy also offers her patients several benefits: *She gives her clients free exercise DVDs(on the condition that they use it within 30 days). *She offers a «grandfather clause» whereby the rate a client comes into her practice is their rate for life. *She offers a preventive maintenance program where the 10th massage is free for clients paying by cash or check. * She offers a referral program where clients can earn a free massage when they refer four new clients. *Besides massage, Cindy is available for(free) community presentations on Brain Gym, which uses simple movements designed to enhance cognitive function. Her office in town is located on the 8th floor of Kapiolani Business Plaza at Makaloa and Kaheka Sts., across from Don Quijote and diagonal from the Pan Am Building. Parking in the on-site garage is accessible from Makaloa St. and is validated. She also has an office inside Aiea Massage Supply at the Harbor Center. Even if you don’t have a prescription, a visit to Cindy may be «just what the doctor ordered» if you’re looking for medical massage or pain relief. For more information, visit . I found Cindy Ogata through my health insurance rider about 5 years ago. I no longer have the chiropractor/massage/accupuncture insurance coverage, but still go to see Cindy as she is the best! Things that I love about Cindy:(1) I always leave there feeling 100 times better as she has the touch and gets out my aches and knots;(2) she applies great pressure. She can do strong, which is good because they can always adjust down;(3) she promptly returns phone calls; and(4) she truly cares about you. If you’re here looking for a great massuse, give Cindy a call.

Best… massage…ever. Cindy is simply put — THEBEST. I’ve been to the foofy massage places and you always leave feeling unfulfilled and unsatisfied. Not with Cindy. It’s like she hits every single knot, pressure point, «it» spot on your body. My wife also goes to Cindy and she can’t say enough good things. If you haven’t tried Cindy, you’re missing out big time!

I was referred to Cindy Ogata by the physician that was attending to me after my car accident and I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. First of all, she promptly returns phone calls and periodically checks in with me to make sure the massage therapy with one of her LMTs Salua is working out. Since I have an acute injury, I can’t say its all roses during the massage session; however both Salua and Cindy are attentive and address my needs. One thing I do want to share about Cindy is her desire not only to treat an injury or condition, but the person as a whole. She used to be a teacher and counselor for DOE but switched her career path inspired by her special needs daughter. You can read the entire story on her webpage, which is truly heart warming!
