Kinda pricey, but when I saw that Yoda shirt, it didn’t matter. I wear it all the time, and I know I got my money’s worth. It’s a quaint little place next to Fighting Eel, and I think Teeteebar suits my taste more. The designs are sooo cute, and I scored some awesome shirts for my friends. They had a good sale rack the other week, and I was able to purchase a great oversized tank :) I think this is one of the places that I have to check frequently(good thing it’s 3 minutes from my school)

TeeTee Bar is truly a hidden gem in Downtown Honolulu. They have an amazing selection of men’s, women’s and children’s tees that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a very small and intimate shop, and the workers are very friendly and knowledgeable of the products. I absolutely love going there!

I think this is a great idea and well executed location. The layout is a good use of space(yeah its hiding the extension of fighting eel). Not too small. And a variety of brands and designs. I found a few that I thought were funny or cool. Caters more to people who like that soft vintage tshirt feel(I like mine rugged and a little thicker, but hey that’s me). Not really for the big bruddahs, but maybe good when shopping for regular sized guys.

I have a big rule when it comes to retail clothes, NEVERPAYFULLRETAILPRICE. Anyone that’s worked in retail can agree with me, everything gets marked down. Even the most fabulous of things(that’s why places like Off Saks, Nordstrom Rack, and Barney’s Outlet exist!). But once in a great while, there is something so awesome that you just love that you cannot chance them running out by the time markdowns happen. I have had this experience at Teetee Bar twice now. Well to be honest, I don’t know if they even have markdowns; which probably contributes to the reason I payed full price. Teetee Bar has lots of awesome small run shirts that you can’t get anywhere else. Many a local made(buy local, yo!) and they also have a lot of RVCA stuff(not worth buying here. go to Nordstrom Rack, yo!). So thanks Teetee Bar. You made me break my number one retail rule, hope you guys are proud of yourselves. Hah.

Super great place to look for unique tshirt gifts. I love this little boutique shop that carries local brands as well as national designer tshirts. Super cool designs and the best shop name! TEETEEBAR! They also have a stamp card. I usually lose those, but I like the incentive! My friends loved the shirts they got from here for Christmas. The shirts range from $ 24 to $ 30 which is the right price for getting a unique shirt. Only downer was that the kids shirts, which are a fourth of the fabric of an adult shirt, cost the same! Huh? I was nevertheless totally loving a shirt for my son that I bought for $ 26. Then when I saw mud and sticky handprints on it I was freaking out! Don’t touch the designer tshirt! What did I expect putting my son in an expensive tshirt?! :) I love the local design though, so it was worth the money. I just hope it lasts through a few wears before it is totally stained!

Great tshirt store. They have a great line of hand felted geek shirts like Star Wars, Totoro, Space Invaders and more. The downside is that there is such a small amount of sizes because they are individually made. And the felt appliqué shirts didn’t come in women’s sizes — just children and men’s. The women shirts they did have were alright but nothing really standout. The men’s shirts had a lot funky designs or sayings, very much like Threadless. It’s a newer store so hopefully they get more women’s stuff in. –Update 10÷6− Ok I hate to do this, but I was on etsy and found the shop of the felted tees themselves. She does custom designs/styles as well if there’s something that you want and Teetee Bar doesn’t have. Message me if you want the link. I’m not trying to undercut Teetee Bar’s business — I still think it’s a great store and I’ll be back. Just saying, the shirts I was particularly interested in — I found the designer’s shop.

Yay! Rad t-shirt boutique! Some fun local stuff, a decent amount of imported shirts, but all very cool. The prices are pretty good, at around $ 24 – 26 for a lot of the mens shirts. They definitely source smaller, indie labels, so it makes for good, off-the-strip selections. Definitely more hip than the average gear I see in Hawaii. The only down-side? Only a few in my 2XL size. I know I’m not the only big dude around here. Had they more in my size, I would likely have bought more. I saw a couple of shirts I was coveting but couldn’t fit in to. That said, the girl who was working there was super nice, and helped me find what I was looking for. Props to this cool store. Love the name too!
