My little place to go in for a big surprise. I love it here especially the live painters which are usually artists who have pieces in the gallery. Nice to watch them work on pieces that are masterfully created. Such a beautiful place with phenomenal customer service.

An interesting stop on the Kalakaua strip, Waikiki beach, to experience island-inspired artwork. Some of the notable artists whose works are on display and witness-worthy: Roy Tabora: great shoreline scenes captured in paint, the quintessential wave painter. Steve Barton: his bold strokes and vibrant colors draw you into his images of island pastorals, also notice the funky framing. Nano Lopez: love love love his bronze animal sculptures: supernatural, whimsical, with a dash of steampunk thrown in, and yet very anthromorphic. George Eguchi: palette knife painter in oils, covering everything from landscapes to still lifes.

6×17×2013 Now I usually don’t go into galleries when I go to Waikiki but some how my family and I wandered here on our way back to the parking garage. I do enjoy looking at art pieces and admire the work of artist so I thought why not. They offer originals, Limited Editions, Open Editions, Bronze, Glass, and Raku Pottery. There are a lot of unusual art pieces. One of my favorites is a Bronzed Giraffe located near the entrance. There were some brightly colored Beatles paintings that I found pretty amusing. Roy Tabora’s paintings are amazing! He truly has captured the beauty of the term«Lucky you like in Hawaii». Most of his paintings are breath taking scenic moments that only us locals can witness and the very lucky tourist. Tonight Monday 6×17×2013 you actually get to meet Roy Tabora. So if you’re in the Waikiki area and strolling down towards the beach stop by Tabora Gallery.
