Susannah Wesley Community Center

Came here tonight for a baby shower. We took the side hall, not bad for a party. decent size. they set up the chairs and tables inside and decorated it really cute. the outside was the food area. and we hung out in the front because inside was hot! haha felt like my makeup was going to melt LOL
but anyways, theres another hall (bigger) which is used for sports, which there was a volleyball tournament going on. but it didnt bother our party. the parking there can get busy but theres also street parking on the side.

«The Susannah Wesley Community Center is a multi-​service community and social service center that has provided much needed programs and services to the residents of Kalihi-​Palama for over 100 years.» I have been to this community center numerous times for several functions from meetings to events. They have a basketball/​volleyball/​recreational court that is attached to the center overall. They even have some conference rooms which I have went to for meetings. I think SWCC is great to the Kalihi community especially for the youth. They have services for youth development and what not from prevention type of services to after school and summer fun programs. They even have programs and services for the elderly and kupuna. It’s conveniently located in Kalihi right in between North School St. and after on that turn from the supermarket and gas station. The staff are great and awesome to work with. I think this a great place for youth and for Seniors as well to take advantage of the programs and services that they have here.
