Healthy dinner alternative… called in my order of 3 foot long sandwiches and order was ready in 10 minutes after calling in a phone order. I love the fact that I can do that and not have to wait in line or call out my order. Very convenient and efficient!

Had excellent service until my meal was past of the rude old lady. The service was good but the old lady just needs customer service classes with like 20 tutors.

I order the same thing every time I come in. There is this older lady who may be Korean who is very rude and does not take pride in her job. She burned my sandwich and had the nerve to ask what I wanted in it-​the bread and meat was clearly black. I laughed and wanted to say «are you serious». She made me a new one but she was still very rude about it. The lady at the register was very friendly and you can tell she provides good customer service. People, if you hate your job-​then find a new one!

I made a quick stop to check out this place since I wanted a healthier option than McDonald’s. It is spacious and clean which was very inviting. I went to check out their menu and I noticed the prices are $ 1-​$ 1.25 more than other Subway restaurants. It’s the exact same food, but I couldn’t believe it costs more here than the one near the Convention Center. Just crazy.
There were several people there waiting to be served and I wasn’t into waiting so I moved on.

Recently, I was on assignment in the Salt Lake area and stopped at the Subway sandwich shop for a drink before making the drive home. As I entered Subway, I could see the lone female employee standing behind the counter doing something. She never looked up from her task as their audible door alarm chimed nor did she look up and acknowledge me when I stood at the counter waiting.
I wasn’t irritated as I waited, I actually wanted to see how long she would take to look up and address me for my order. 5 seconds ticked by as she straightened several receipts on the counter. At 10 seconds she looked up at me and then said nothing. I could play stupid too, I thought. I said nothing. Finally after a few more awkward moments, she simply says, ‘Yes?‘
I politely ask for a 40 oz. drink. She gives me the cup, punches in the cost yet doesn’t tell me what the total is. Now I’m getting irritated. I look back at her with that same stupid expression she is giving me and wait. More awkward moments but I’m not backing down. Sure I could easily glance at the cash register display but at this point I’m thinking she is an extremely stupid employee or worse yet a an extremely stupid business owner. She mumbles something and I hand her my debit card and she completes the transaction.
To top off her already spectacular customer service skill set, as she extends her hand to give back my receipt and debit card and as I reach out to take it from her hand, she stops short and purposely lays it on the counter for me to pick up. WTF?!
I personally feel rude people have no place interacting with the public when they lack the most basic sense of propriety and courtesy. It’s just common sense. People don’t have to spend money at places that treat them like annoyances but I guess that’s why their shop was void of any other customers except stupid me at 05:30PM on a very busy Monday evening.
Don’t eat at the Salt Lake Subway if you expect common courtesy like being acknowledged when you enter or approach. Or being asked for your order or how much your items cost or even being handed back your debit card or receipts. Lesson learned.

Subway. Eat fresh… Ive always loved Subway. As soon as you walk in if its crowded the line is all bunched up in the back of the store. If theres a line i kinda wait till it dies down just cause its awkward just standing and touching bodies. The workers are alright they could be a little friendly and alot less chatty with coworkers while customers are being helped and in the store (i dont appreciate the mok talk). So i order a sandwhich and i knew excatly what i would like. I order a BLT. Not toasted double meat crispy. (Maybe they have to get trained on how to do the bacon crispy). Being that i always order BLT, i knew at the look of the bacon it was going to be soft. Sure enough, my bacon was soft i even commented on it but she continued to make the sandwhich. I just paid for it because i rather not argue about my food not being precise and i dont wanna waste a sandwhich. This i the second time here i have eaten a sandwhich that i wasnt happy with. If i come back here i will no longer order wgat iblike but just a standard sandwhich. Or ill just drive out of my way to get a sandwhich that will satisfy my cravings. .
There are chairs missing for the moment of time as well.

Beware the Subway at Salt Lake Shopping Center. I ordered very specifically a Teri chicken sub meal and a meatball sub separate. They charged me the meatball sub meal so they could charge me the higher price for the Teri chicken sub separately, getting some extra money out of me.
Shame on you Subway. I will definitely be filling out that survey of yours and it won’t be pretty. It’s not about the money, it’s about principle.
To be fair I go here a lot and the service is not usually that bad. Today it was just especially disappointing.

Good place to get a healthy sandwich. I like the Italian meat sandwich, steak with bacon, and Crab sandwich.

Very friendly and I love how they suggest better deals for the meals! They’re quick and take the time to really talk story with me. I love how they write what kind of sandwich it is on the wrapper! Most subways are lazy and just pack it. Will be coming back here with more friends!

We came to this subway right before their 9pm closing time on Friday. I was not expecting such wonderful and friendly service this close to closing. Justin welcomed us in and talked to us about work, asked how our night was, ect. Even picked on me for not liking veggies on my sandwich. The guy in the back cleaning even came out and talked to us about his favorite sandwich. The food tasted fresh and great as always.

Wonderful, friendly service with attention to detail… Fresh bread and sandwiches made with care. Been a long time since we had good service like this. Sandwich maker even marked the sandwiches after wrapping them!

Came in 15 minutes before closing and expected to be glared at and given a whole lot of attitude, but surprisingly both workers were nice, quick, attentive & got us in and out within five minutes!

The worst subway ever. I know it’s just subway, but their customers service sucks. I won’t be coming back to this location again.

Even though this was my first time. and it’s a chain restaurant I expected it to be similar to other experiences I had at Subways. this was not the case.
The lady who helped my daughter and I seemed in a rush. there was no one else in line. actually no one else in the restaurant besides us and another worker. I’m pretty sure I told the lady at least three times ‘yes toasted and no cheese’. to behold! my bread was burnt! all on the sides and edges. not crispy. burnt.
the spinach was yellow. and some parts were old. you can tell when the spinach doesn’t look green anymore. more like its watered down starting to look like seaweed. super cheap on it. didn’t even touch the edge of my sandwich. along with the tomatoes and olives. the first few and last few bites of my sandwich tasted like burnt honey oat bread.
my daughters sandwich is made simpler. she toasted the turkey for her and put baby portions of olives on there.
the lady didn’t ask if I was making my sandwich a meal. she didn’t even remind me to get the juice and apples for my daughters meal. she didn’t ask whether she wanted a cookie or apple slices. there was so much lack of communication it seemed like. as a mom. I tend to forget that I need a meal or that I didn’t grab chips yet because I’m too busy trying to keep my daughter distracted from grabbing chip bags and throwing them on the floor and what not. so it’s nice to be reminded by workers. if they don’t remind me. not only do they lose out on money. but I lost out on a drink to wash down my burnt bread with.
coming here again. I think not. I rather try one of the other few restaurants they have in this plaza.

The workers here are especially nice and patience. This is one of the few places i take my client to often. They give him plenty of time to order and pay. Rose is one of our favorites!

I live going to subway because when you get out of the car it smells so nice as you walk up. HOWEVER… This store was HORRIBLE! The customer service was not up to par, I even think that one lady rolled her eyes at me once when I asked for bacon on my Subway Club. In addition, the line took forever to move because they had NO idea how to make the pizzas. They had to keep going back to the instructions which wasted a lot of time. With only a few working, there was no need for all of them to move there attention to the pizzas. Also, I watched them make 2 pizzas for a customer in front of me where they were not quite sure, so just threw things on there, and sloppy at that. The meat was not even on the sides, and everything else was just put on there like they didn’t care… Not right at all.
In addition, after pulling my sub out if the toaster it was obvious that it was smoking and something burnt on the inside. The staff just ignored the smell and the burnt toaster, and continued to use it. My sandwich even TASTED LIKE SMOKE! It was gross! Luckily I had soup, so I thought. Even that tasted weird. and it was chicken noodle! How can you mess that up?!
The girl at the register was also frazzled. She asked me 3 times what I ordered and if I wanted combos. I told her one combo but one sub with a drink for my sister who was with me. She finally rang me up, and then forgot how many drinks I payed for so asked me again. I was over it at this point.
Thank goodness subway is everywhere, because I will NEVER go there again!

Went here yesterday, there were 3 workers. The customer in front of me was asking 1 worker a question and the other one was busy with another customer. The 3^rd worker helped me 2 mins after I kept looking at her and glancing at my phone while she was putting her two cents into the conversation the other worker was having with the other customer. EXCUSE ME! I’m your customer!!! Are you going to help me after I yell out that I want a Italian bread footlong??? Then!!! I look at the tray of cookies, I wanted some but my sister stopped me!!! I usually don’t look because I know from a friend they clean it daily. I don’t think they clean it daily there.

Get there at 8:55pm and I walk in to subways. The workers say they are closed. Should have locked the doors and put the closed sign up. Ill just boycott Salt Lake Subways not even worth a star.

In my quest to consume healthier meal choices, I have begun to visit this neighborhood Subway more frequently in recent weeks. Yes yes it is just Subway, but this location is a neighborhood charm all on its own:
1) Friendly and helpful staff. The staff is welcoming and provides satisfactory customer service from the moment you step thru the door until your sandwich is completely made and finished.
2) Speed. I will commend the staff on their swift and skillful sandwich preparations.
I am still amazed at times how quickly they are able put a sandwich together.
3) This location accepts visa and mastercard.
Bottom Line: A healthy alternative to fast food or the traditional plate lunch.
