Staff is very upbeat and friendly and I love their wide selection of flavors. Love that you can create your own. Prices are a bit high, but it IS delicious!

At first, I wasn’t sure what kind of kiosk it was because it was very unassuming and they were still setting up. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful and even if they weren’t open for business for another half hour, she described some of the drinks to me which I thought was very nice. I made sure to go back when they opened. I ordered the Li-Hing pineapple for myself. It had black tea, pineapple syrup and pineapple tapioca. Delicious! I’ve had some drinks elsewhere with the little tapioca things in it and sometimes it tasted of plastic and that was a big turn off, but this was so tasty. I asked for something with not too much caffeine in it for my daughter(can’t handle it) and they suggested the mixture with jasmine tea and some fruit juices. It may have been called passion… something, sorry forgot the name. She loved it. I really wanted to take a picture of my drink but I drank it up. Couldn’t help myself. I’m definitely going back with my husband. From Waianae to Kahala Mall? This drink is worth it.

The name of the place is really cute. I like how the drinks come in these little fat containers instead of the conventional cup. That’s what caught my eye, I was still fascinated with the container throughout the whole drink. Though it does not fit in the drink holder of my brother’s car. It was my first time placing an order here and the worker was very helpful and patient in helping me make a selection. I requested a not so sweet drink. He made sure that I liked the drink and even offered to fix it if I didn’t. I was very satisfied with how my drink came out. The tapioca was perfect and chewy. It wasn’t disgustingly sweet and held it’s shape perfectly. The jellies were also delicious and had a nice texture to it. The price range is a bit on the higher side though imo, as compared to bubble drinks in town. Though the reason might be because it is located in Kahala Mall. They also have a stamp card loyalty program.

I found out about Stir It Up from Unilocal.(Gotta love Unilocal!) All those pictures of milk tea in chubby cups were just too good looking not to check it out. Stir It Up is a kiosk located in Kahala Mall. They are right outside of Island Sole. The closest mall entrance/exit is by Taco Bell and Panda Express. There is a lot of parking located all around the mall. Stir It Up seems like it is another milk tea place. Yes and no. They do have the usual milk tea, with boba or without, flavors such as vanilla and strawberry. The have teas and lemonade. What makes this place stand out for me(besides those chubby cups that may not fit in your car’s cupholder) is the Oreo Dream and the Cookies and Cream drinks. I LOVE them so much! The Oreo Dream is milk tea, crushed Oreos, chocolate syrup, and boba. Cookies and Cream is the same drink BUT with vanilla ice cream. I personally get them without boba. These drinks just hot the spot for me. The sweetness of the chocolate syrup. The crunch of the Oreos. My day just gets a little happier after coming here. The customer service is excellent here. The counter staff is efficient and is happy to make suggestions. They accept credit cards and I’ve always been asked if I have a stamp card. I hear that they also make mall deliveries(for those of you who work at Kahala Mall). The pricing seems a bit steep, but for my specialty drink, I think it’s about right. And sometimes I think almost everything is more expensive at the mall. So, if you are looking for a milk tea place while hanging out at Kahala Mall, please stop by and check them out! (5)

Pretty good tea here with flavors that really push the envelope. Only downside is that its a bit pricey. Drinks here come in the chubby cup size or a larger version of it. So like other reviews have mentioned, it may not fit in your car cup holder. I tried the li hing pineapple. I really enjoyed the flavor, not too tart, a little sweet. The pineapple jelly was great, and it really felt like eating li hing pineapple. I really would have liked to try more of their flavors like the oreo one and the beast which contained monster energy drink too. Really cool flavors!

Hmm I’m undecided how I feel about Stir It Up. I definitely think it has a place at Kahala Mall. There aren’t any bubble tea(the«it» drink of the moment) places nearby, and it’s conveniently located in the mall, so you can enjoy a drink with lunch or while you shop. Appearance: I love their chalkboard menu. The kiosk is neatly organized, and I’m amazed how much they fit into the space. Overall, though, I feel like the store gets lost in the dim/insufficient mall lighting, Maybe it’s the color palate or something(or maybe it’s because I went at night?), but it might look trendier with lighter/bolder colors. But that’s just my opinion. Drinks: They have way more than just the standard flavors, which some people may love(I’m more of a «less is more» person), as well as unique«Top Stirs» concoctions that, honestly, sound like either a blissful sugar high or a toothache waiting to happen. I ordered a jasmine green tea with boba. What I meant to order was a jasmine milk tea. Even so, I was surprised that it wasn’t sweetened at all, or given a choice whether or not I wanted simple syrup. That was probably my bad? I may never know. Update from my second visit: They don’t have Jasmine Milk Tea. All of their milk tea flavors are based off of the«original» black tea flavor. I ordered a Lavender Milk Tea, which didn’t taste at all like lavender. It tasted like honey. TBH, I couldn’t finish it. When I can’t finish something sweet, I know there’s an issue because I love anything sugary. The only definitive issue I have is with the cups.(I know I’m not alone here.) They don’t fit in any human-sized cup holders and they’re not easy to hold, either. Service: The service is excellent! Everyone is friendly and energetic, and they try to get you in and out quickly. I think Stir It Up has lots of potential. The two things holding me back from falling in love are their lack of green tea milk flavors and the obese midget cups(as I’m now calling them). It may be a hit for some people, but it’s not my cup of tea.

I gave this place another chance since my boyfriend loves going here and I love how they make you feel so welcome. They have weekly specials on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays like giving extra stamps or a BOGO deal which you can find on their Facebook page. I normally did not like their drinks, but managed to find one that I love which is the Matcha Milk Tea. It tastes exactly like an authentic green tea powder with the bitter taste. I also got it with the mini bobbas which helped with the straw being an odd shaped(the size of the regular bobba and jelly tended to be too big for the oval shaped straw). Overall, I would get the Matcha Milk Tea. I tried the Green Tea Latte which just had vanilla ice cream added to the drink, but it did alter the bitterness; yet not dramatically. It was okay, it tasted less bitter, but didn’t make much of a difference. I would probably just stick to the Green Tea/Matcha Milk Tea and alter the sweetness since the bitterness of the green tea powder was kind of overpowering. I would truly recommend this place for its excellent customer service. I guess I was wrong to judge this place so harshly, but I will be more open to try more flavors here.

I had heard about Stir it Up from a friend and decided to try it out. I was surprised to see how many different flavors they had on their menu such as Oreo and smores?! Definitely had never thought of those being flavors for bubble drinks but a lot of people seemed to be ordering them! I ordered the Strawberry Bomb which was black tea, strawberry sauce, condensed milk walls, and strawberry jelly. You can add whatever you want to the drink such as other flavored boba. I thought it was good and a large cup for the amount I paid. I will be back to try other flavors!

*This place has the chubby cups that don’t fit in any cup holder. Cute and different, but it makes it a bit inconvenient if you’d like to pick up a drink and take it in the car with you. They are located in Kahala Mall in one of those little kiosks. The drinks start at about $ 6 and increase if you want to add a bunch of goodies in. The guy who took my order was super nice and very helpful. There were so many combinations that I could have got & also a lot of their«speciality creations» so I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices. In the end I just got a regular milk tea with boba, but it was really good!

New tea joint? Great. I don’t care. It’s bs. It’s anarchy. This shit is outta control. Why should you give them your business when there’re so many other places to be loyal to? I mean, really, they ALL offer loyalty cards. I can’t explain it, so I’ll explain it the way my mother explains addictive things. They lace their drinks. With coke. Well, I’ll be a fool and be addicted, MOM, because this place rocks my socks. I’ve tried one drink, and it’s an instant favorite. ICEDWHITEPEACHGREENTEAWITHALOEJELLY. At the regular sweetness, it’s barely sweet enough. I order things at half sweetness at Taste Tea. Each drink includes an add on, and each addt add on is less than $ 1. There are also customized drinks on their«top 10.» My coworkers/boss love the café au lait and island passion. I think the latter has two types of jellies, so it’s kind of a big deal. But buyer beware, maybe go half sweetness on these bad boys. I love that the cups are easy to transport, but it’s so dangerous because there is no limit to how many people you can pick up drinks for. Damn you, stir it up! And Susie, for making me addicted!

I was a little hesitant to try this place because I had heard that the drinks were really sweet. A friend wanted to try it out so we did and we were happy to find out that they would adjust the sweetness to how we like it. The guy making our milk tea was nice enough to keep letting us taste it to make sure it was just how we liked it. He kept on adding more tea to it to make it less sweet for us. As a result, we were very happy with our drinks. Their boba is really good; cooked perfectly and it a nice chewy texture.

Finally! A boba place that has a jumbo size! Got a pumpkin pie boba which consisted of milk tea, pumpkin spice, pumpkin custard, and freaking graham cracker crust. It was delicious, and the jumbo size was barely enough. I mean, I could probably finish half a gallon in one sitting and man, I disgust myself sometimes but seriously, it was pretty good. It’s easy to see why there’s always lines for it, as it’s one of the few if not only place in the vicinity that sells boba/milk tea, but they’re pretty damn good. It did take a little while for my order, but all good things in life are worthwhile.

i love bubble drinks & wanted to try the new bubble place in kahala – it’s a kiosk right by banana republic. I wanted to try one of their specialty drinks so I tried the smores which has some graham cracker crumbles in it & floating mini marshmallows on top w/chocolate drizzles on the sides. it was pretty good! not too too sweet. the price wasn’t bad for a reg considering it’s actually kinna big. they come in reg or lrg & huge wide cylindrical cups! I had to take my middle cup holder divider in my car to make it fit in the cup holder. the only downfall, which is my mistake too, is the boba! I’ve already read reviews before & the menu saying it cost for the add-ons like boba & jelly, & etc. but thinking it’s a bubble place I automatically am used to not having to say«add boba» b/c many other places include it w/the drink. so basically got a reg milk tea, bummer cause that’s the reason I wanted to try it was a bubble drink! so if you want a bubble drink make sure you order an add-on! gotta go back & remember to do that & really see how their bubble tea drinks are.

A friend of mine got me a drink from here so I wanted to try again. They didn’t have my usual Jasmine milk tea so I was kind of bummed. I got regular milk tea with less sugar. Their milk tea is already made so they put more of the black tea to adjust the sweetness. Their milk tea taste like this store called Half & Half in LA. It has slight chocolate taste. I’m not sure if that’s my imagination. I do like the taste of the milk tea at this store. As for the cost, it is almost $ 6 for a 25oz cup. Yes, it is huge and it won’t fit in your cup holder. On the mainland, you can get the same size drink for $ 3. Sorry to compare. I guess I rather have $ 3 drink versus $ 6 even though it’s smaller. Service was excellent. They gave me a stamp card and wanted to make sure my sweetness was okay too.

This was my first time at «Stir it up» i was really interested in trying it because I’ve seen so many people walking around the mall with these little fat cups LOL. I wanted to see if they had a plantation iced tea, they don’t have one on the menu but the man working said i could make it if i wanted it. I then got one, black tea, add pineapple and li-hing. it was alright, the price for the drink was about $ 6.23. I’m not sure if it was super worth it. i did however like the set up they have and i just think that i should try another drink next time. The man at the kiosk was very friendly, and the girl was friendly also when she handed me the drink, she mentioned that if i let the li-hing seed in my drink sit for a while longer it would have a stronger taste. As far as ice, they could definitely put in a little more. Im down to try it again.

Stir it up can be found near Candy Carousel & the Apple Store in that middle walk way. It’s a cute little bubble drink kiosk that has very friendly workers. After eating at Goma Tei my friends & I needed something sweet so we decided to get the taro milk tea, lychee tea and a salted caramel one all with boba. The drinks were okay, they could’ve been a little sweeter but we didn’t mind. The cups do not fit in cup holders because they are short & wide. So make sure you drink some of it so you can carefully balance it on the middle of your cup holders while you drive. Make sure you get a stamp card! I believe it’s buy 10 drinks & get 1 free.

I wanted to love this place especially after I saw their acai with boba, but I found out they aren’t allowed to serve the acai at the Kahala location. Bummer. I ordered my daughter a strawberry milk tea. The milk tea tasted okay, but we didn’t care much for the strawberry syrup. It may just have been preference, but now we were stuck with 23 ounces of a drink we didn’t like. The boba was just okay. I like the chubby cup concept, but it’s just too much both in size and price $ 5.95 for the milk tea plus .50 cents for the regular boba.

So we wanted to try this place at the Kahala Mall shopping center. The menu said that a regular sized beverage was $ 5.95. So we ordered the Matcha Latte, which according to the description included vanilla ice cream. I was a little disappointed after discovering that the ice cream that was advertised as(presumably) included in my order was actually an additional charge of $ 0.75, so after tax that $ 5.95 beverage was $ 7.02. There was no disclaimer indicating that there was an additional charge, and none of the employees mentioned it before completing our order. I believe in some cases that would be considered False Advertising. $ 0.75 is really no big deal but it’s the principle of charging your customer for something without them being forewarned that they’re paying extra for it. I believe this needs to be corrected.

Like another boba place I recently tried, stir it up had a BOGO promo, which gave me a great reason to try it out. People who know me will know that I am a boba fanatic. My love for Taiwanese milk tea with boba began when I was in college in LA. LA has the best boba places outside of Taiwan, so it’s sometimes hard for Hawaii places to live up to my standards of chewy boba, and flavorful milk tea. Stir it up is a little place at street grindz kewalo. It’s literally one of those little tents. They have unique flavors, but a very small menu… And their ice comes out of a cooler. If that’s all okay with you, definitely come out and try their drink concoctions. I tried the wintermelon milk tea with boba and was impressed with the honey boba. The drink itself was very sweet(they did not ask me for a sweetness level and I forgot to tell them to make it less sweet). In addition to milk tea with boba, they have smoothies, fruity drinks, chocolatey drinks, and jelly toppings. The two people working here were nice enough. It was an awkward set up… They sit on foldable chairs while you order, so you have to look down at everything… It reminded me of buying cookies from Girl Scouts at the supermarkets for some reason. The drinks come in the fat cups like at Half and Half or Hula boba. They look cool, but won’t fit in my car’s cup holder :/

Stir It Up makes Asian-style drinks – milk tea with boba, flavored teas with jellies, and some dessert-inspired creations like the Smores and Oreo Dream. These drinks are very sweet and priced at $ 7 for their unique Chubby 25 ounce cup. And finish your drink before you get to the car, the Chubby doesn’t fit into a standard car cup holder.
