This place is awesome. Honestly the bar seems to be the best for watching sports in town. There are TV’s everywhere. I can’t think of a time where I have gone to a bar for a game and there wasn’t bad viewing angles. Stats that’s non-existent. The food was awesome, tater tots are great, burger tasty and good portion as well. The loco moco, both prime rib and regular were awesome, and the wings killed it, even though I’m not a huge fan of them. The only things that I can knock this bar for is beer selection, they only have 4 on draft. Blue Moon being the best but $ 15 for a pitcher is a little steep. I’ll be back for all my sports bar needs. Counting the days til football season.

Great for watching sports! Surrounded by large TVs everywhere! If the food & service were on point, this bar could set the bar! But alas, this is nothing more than 3 star establishment… =( Service was friendly but über sloooooow! Bar was not busy at 5pm on this Tuesday – us and two other groups. Took nearly 10 minutes for my wife’s mojito. After that drink was empty, the waitress promised to come again but never did. I mentioned this to the manager and she comped the first mojito. Very kind of her. – Mixed results on the food – The tacos on Taco Tuesday were subpar – random stuffs thrown together on a tortilla. Baffling how this passed the kitchen staff’s taste test and deemed sellable. Who will crave these tacos? Ordered their deep fried soft shell crab bao. Was delish but presentation was poor – the bao was broken in half. That is like ordering a burger and having the bun ripped… Ordered sliders. 30 minutes had passed and still no sliders! Holee sh*t! Cancelled that order. They removed from my bill. Did I choose a bad day to try here? Murphy’s Law? Everything that can go wrong, went wrong? * shrug * The manager was understanding and made kind gestures such as removing my wife’s drink and the sliders from the bill. She asked us to give Stats another chance and despite this experience, I am willing to forgive and forget!

You constantly consider sports bars as «pub food», yet this place serves eatery quality items in a casual, sports enthusiast setting. Stats Sports Bar is on Kapiolani Avenue, close to the Hawaii Convention Center and Ala Moana Center. A must try is the Blue Crab n Artichoke Dip with Cream Cheese & Parmesan Cheese. There’s an assortment of tater tot dishes that range from roasted garlic to truffle parmesan. Additionally, you will find Kalua Pig Bao Buns, Truffled Ribeye Steak, Prime Rib Loco Moco and a sizzling Ahi Carpaccio with Yuzu Caviar.

Came here for the GSW vs OKC game 5 of the series. There’s 11 large TVs so great for game watching from any seat you’re at. They have bar, booth, and regular seating. They have great happy hour deals on food and drinks. I’d definitely come back here. Our server, Bubu, was really friendly and attentive!

Atmosphere is better then most sports bars in the area. Large array of huge flat screen TV’s, I can see this place being a good spot for sporting events and Football season. Parking is very limited, but there is a garage across the street. Location itself is on the sketchy side, and I wouldn’t want to be parked here for long. Surrounding businesses are pretty odd, for lack of a better word. I’m going to dedicate a whole paragraph to the AMAZING musician who was playing music solo on Taco Tuesday. He was awesome and we loved his style. He sounded comparable to Bruno Mars/Jason Maraz and other such vocalists, but probably better. I failed to get his name, but if you ever read this, just know that we hope you go far and you were awesome. Food: granted, we only ordered the taco special as the sole purpose of us going out was to find a good taco Tuesday spot… who doesn’t love a good taco Tuesday special? With that being said, we will keep looking. However, this was def the cheapest meal we have ever ordered in on this end of Waikiki… or Oahu in general. Keep in mind however, the rest of the every day menu was average price range for the area. BUT, the special is a tortilla cut in half and served with just meat a touch of lettuce and sprinkle of cheese… and by no means is my tummy sensitive, but these bad boys were drenched in grease and served in a puddle of it… not appetizing, I’ll leave it at that. Presentation was good, but that’s about it. Additional toppings and salsa begin at $ 1 ^_^ Will we return? Maybe for football…

Would have been 5 stars, but had to minus 1 star due to terrible parking. Got here on a Sunday afternoon, so I would expect there would be lots of parking, but wrong. The parking is too small for all of the businesses around. My guess is since this place is located right across the street from the Convention Center, that people must park here instead of paying the $ 10 parking at CC. We had a painting event with Paint Nite here at Stats SB, we were set up at the corner in a huge area. We were all comfortable, and the waitress was very attentive to about 25? of us painters. They have a pretty good menu of pupu style foods. We ordered the cheesy tater tots, just to kill time since we arrived early. Big comfortable booths, large TV’s to watch sports, and 3 electronic dart boards. The tater tots was good, waitress was excellent. Probably wouldn’t come back here, because of the location and parking situation. But thank you for hosting us!

Stats Bar is a sports bar located around the Ala Moana area. They’re focused on showing sporting events and Asian style pupus. This was my second visit and was still disappointed unfortunately. We ordered tater tots(both truffle Parmesan and garlic style), soft shell crab bao buns, wings, fish n taters(Basi), and the Ribeye. Tater Tots 4.5÷5 perfectly fried but they should have more variety with their sauces. Ketchup and tobacco is fine for me, but the sauces they gave us were not very tasty. They were curry ketchup, honey mustard with mayo, spicy mayo, and regular ketchup. I would suggest offering bbq or queso. Soft Shell Crabs Bao Buns 2⁄5 extremely bland, I couldn’t taste anything besides oil. They fry the bao buns too, which was very offsetting. There was bacon in it as well, but again overpowered by the oil. IMO I would have not fried the bao buns and I would have used a sweet glaze like teriyaki/sesame or hoisin. When something is fried, you need contrast to bring out the flavor and texture. It’s too bad because I looked forward to this dish the most! Buffalo Wings 4⁄5 nicely cooked but the sauce was a little too sour and it was drenched in it. Fish N Taters 3⁄5 Basi filet fried in breadcrumbs and Cajun seasoning. Very thin cut of fish and kind of bland. Nothing special. Truffle Ribeye 1⁄5 one of the worst steaks I have ever had. We ordered it medium rare but it came out very rare. Extremely gamey and the cream sauce it came with was not good at all. The mushrooms were also undercooked. They should have used more onions to balance the ribeye. I’m assuming it was not a fresh cut of meat because it had a very bad after taste. Also, it was only 8 ounces and costs $ 23! It tasted like they bought the cheapest cut of meat at the supermarket. What a rip off. I would have said something to our bartender but she was very nice and friendly, and I had already sent it back since it was undercooked. The only things that make this bar worth coming to are the tvs and service. All these positive reviews on Unilocal all praise their tater tots, but I mean c’mon they’re frozen tater tots and anyone could make these! I would only come during football season. I also like the ambience and that’s why I decided to give them another chance, but nope they failed again. They have the right idea and good menu items, but they need a better chef.

Talk about modern and swanky! Totally was feeling the interior of this bar the whole time. We got lucky and got a spot in their clearly marked parking stalls after the UB40 concert, just watch out for the old Korean people that linger around. The male manager was super nice and attentive, he seemed to talk to everyone in the place. This was cool because the waitress seemed a little stressed out and took awhile to get things done and wasn’t very friendly. The food was awesome and I appreciated all the nice plating. Like all the other reviews rave, the soft shell crab bao is bomb! The fish tacos were also favored by my boyfriend and he loves fish dishes. I didn’t like the pork belly bao, the pork belly was dry and flavorless and then they smother it with way too much hoisin sauce and it doesn’t make it taste better; also just has a sliced cucumber in it. The rib eye was okay, seemed a little on the dry side and also lacking in flavor. We were also seated at the tables to the right when walking in, nearest to the bathroom/bar and there was a funky smell in the area that was bothering me the whole time, kind of like old vomit or wet dirty towel. My last gripe is we asked for ketel vodka & ginger ale and it turned out we were being served cheap vodka(they didn’t even advise they didn’t have ketel or I don’t know if they were just trying to fool us) and then our last couple drinks seemingly didn’t even have vodka in it & there was no ginger ale, it was bitter soda water. I’ve never tasted watered down drinks at any bar before, so I was pretty disappointed. I don’t know if they ran out of ginger ale or what was going on, but it started okay and just tanked off the deep end in the alcohol department for us so we ended up leaving after that. All in all it is a super nice place & will probably be back for the bao. I hate to give any place a review of below 4 stars so hopefully I can update my review after my next visit!

I had a goal, consume everything on the menu lol. I initially was thinking of a different eatery, but auntie Nadine convinced me that this was new and we had to try it out. It didn’t hurt that it was also a bookmark of mine! We had literally entered two minutes into their opening. Our waiter was Russ, he was attentive and personable. The thing is… we both had not eaten anything all day. Lol We were basically preparing our stomachs, and exercising its expansion. Well, first order was the soft shell crab bao. It was dressed in stats signature aioli, jalapeño, bacon, and their baos were deep fried! Bacon makes everything better! Oh my gosh, it was soooo good!!! The crab was coated evenly in batter, and the addition of spice from the jalapeño to the aioli made this crunchy sandwich mouthwatering. The second order was the truffle ribeye, 8oz hand cut dressed with Alii hamakua mushrooms, sweet onions, white truffle oil topped with roasted garlic aioli sauce. I felt that the longer it was left on our table, the dryer the meat became. It wasn’t piping hot went it arrived, it was more lukewarm. The garlic aioli sauce tasted more of heavy mayonnaise that was not too appealing. Our third option, was the garlic sesame soy style wings that was lightly breaded. Great crunch and bite, but the soy was heavily sweetened. I had a craving for fish and chips so fish n Tators it was. The bass filet was breaded in furikake, and dressed with stats signature sauce. I felt that the breading of furikake was extremely salty. The fish was moist, but all I tasted was salt. The tator tots was awesome! It was crispy with the perfect amount of potato inside. We both had looks on our faces that said no more food! I can’t chew anymore. We were eating for a party of 4 people. Lol Overall it was good and they have taco Tuesday’s! So I’ll be back! It was great company auntie!!!

Been here a handful of times now and must say I appreciate most how clean this place always is(no torn booths which can be common in sports bars). Also the place has an impressive array of flat screens, which as far as sports bars go falls high on the priority list. FOOD: Overall not bad. Tater tots nice and crispy, good size, good flavor. Taco Tuesdays, nothing special see pics. Beer, decent selection but just a weee bit pricey for what I’m used to for a casual sports bar. Will be back sometime to try the soft shell crab bao which sounds amazing. It seems like they are going for a slightly elevated food menu, which can be a nice change for a sports bar every now and then. SERVICE: Efficient, only had an issue once with a girl who messed up our bill and was oddly forgetful for only 4 tables in the place but everyone has their off days. This place is down the street from our place which is a big reason why we walk over, not our favorite but a nice change of pace from TJs or homebar.

Pretty cool spot to watch sports at just about a 10 minute drive from the Waikiki area. What brought us here was the knowledge that they had HELLA big screen tv’s mounted on the walls. On this specific day, we went to pledge our allegiance to the GSW. We arrived around 530ish and were seated right away by a really upbeat and friendly server — I’m so sorry that I forgot his name. Before our arrival we were drooling over the delicious food on their menu so we made sure to order a spread. We just HAD to get the Parmesan truffle tots — delicious! Definitely didn’t skimp on the tots — we had a lot to go around(for just 2 of us) — I do wish there was a dipping sauce that would compliment this carby goodness other than ketchup though. For protein we had the sweet & sexy chicken — soooooo yummy. Tasted like sweet and sour dipping sauce(for lumpia) and the chicken had a nice crunch to it, with lots of meat. We also ordered the deep fried bao with soft shell crab — soooo good and even though they give you a quarter of a crab in each bao, it’s enough — and the sauce compliments it so well! We actually were given the mini bao with a corned beef-like inside to it when we really wanted the deep fried bao, but we graciously accepted it and tried it. Because the mini bao was served first we didn’t get to enjoy the soft shell crab one as much, but we didn’t make a big deal about it with our server. Drinks were good, not tooo pricey and food was what we expected — pretty good for bar food and presentation was not forgotten. Only gripe about this place was requesting to have the channels changed to watch your favorite game seemed like a chore because the TV and remotes ‘we’ren’t cooperating’ or something or the other. We ended up moving to the TV that had the game we wanted to watch on — so that was fixed too. Def a good place to watch a game, eat some good food, drank, and shoot some darts. Lots of parking too — huge plus!

Finally a sports bar that’s what I always felt a true sports bar should be. I came here on two different occasions and two very different yet great experiences. My first experience here was with my wife. We came just to check it out because they were fairly new at the time. We did order FOOD. We decided to get the soft shell crab with bao buns. It was absolutely delicious. Very light and crispy and very well presented. They plated it to look like crabs PC: Yvonne M. The PRICE of the food is a little higher than your average dive bars but the food here is of better quality than your average dives as well so keep that in mind. Unfortunately, that was the only dish that I got to try on both occasions coming here so I’ll update this review as I try more items off the menu. If you’re already into craft beers then they have a few of them on their menu but ultimately lagers and pilsners still are the majority of their selection. The SERVICE was amazing on both times. However, on both occasions I had the bartender/server«J» I think is his name. He’s very friendly and even gave me some beer swag on my last visit. On our first visit he was able to talk football with me since it was fairly slow at the time. The ENVIRONMENT is great. I came here on my second visit to watch the Thursday night game and the place was packed with football fans from both teams giving the bar an exciting feel to the game. The TV’s there are huge which a huge plus so that no matter where you sit, it’s a good seat. The LOCATION is a few doors doors down from Femme Nu. How convenient is that! ’) PARKING is in the back and they have a decent amount of stalls. Overall, I had two great experiences so far so 5 stars it is!

Watching people check in to this Sports Bar and reading the reviews about the food made me put Stats high on my list of Places to Visit. My dining partner, Amy, had wanted to go somewhere else, but I convinced her to check this place out first. Yay! Thanks Amy! Stats is located on the right hand side of Kapiolani Boulevard as you head towards Waikiki, before the Convention Center. It has a huge parking lot with over 30 stalls! The spacious interior is dark and clean. There are many big screen televisions and dart boards! Looks like a great place for groups! Since we arrived at opening time, Amy and I were greeted by Russ, the bartender. He reassured us that there were more staff and that the kitchen personnel were just arriving. He was so friendly and attentive that we didn’t need anyone else! We were so excited for our feast: SOFTSHELLCRAB with deep fried bao buns — the winner! GARLICSESAMESOYSTYLEWINGS — good flavor and texture! TRUFFLERIBEYE — Disappointed. It would be better on a sizzling platter so it would be a better temperature. It wasn’t as tasty or tender as I expected. FISH N TATERS — Amy’s choice. The furukaki crust of the fish was a bit salty for me. Taters were ono! Maybe we could have ordered better. Everything else was 5 stars. I can see this as a really hopping place at peak hours. I would return for sure. .maybe for a UYE or a birthday party?? I’ll help plan something here!(Big hint) Let’s do it!

I must admit that I was first drawn to Stats because I heard that they had duck katsu and I am a HUGE fan of duck. I was disappointed when I discovered that they had discontinued the duck katsu but that’s not enough to keep me away from this place. If you’re a burger, pork, or crab fan, then there’s still quite a few things on the menu to enjoy, including soft shell crab sliders. Don’t leave without trying a Breakfast Shot ;) Stats also has a very welcoming environment that will make you want to return. All of the staff are quite friendly. For a sports bar it’s very spacious, which allows is patrons the ability to mingle with other groups or maintain more private conversations with friends. There are also 2 separate areas for darts and large television screens surround the bar which is quite convenient for sports fans as you can see every screen from most locations in the bar. I also attended a wedding and reception here and I have to say, they went out of their way to both set up and decorate this sports bar to fit the them. They aim to please and once you’re there, you’ll feel like you’re around old friends.

Sports bars usually are not a go-to spot for me. This is why being the gf of a super fan is not always fun during football season! BUTTHETOTS. Stats has an amazing section of their menu devoted to tater tots. ADULT tots: truffle parmesan, sea salt, etc. I would watch football all day if it meant I got to eat those tots… Okay, yea, the TVs are nice, there are a lot of them, they have every game showing, blah, blah, blah. This is a sports bar. 4 – 80 inch televisions and 7 other screens that wrap around the entire bar. Tons of seating and has a great atmosphere and seating. Every seat can watch several televsions. Wait staff is great and service is quick. They can place orders and change the televisions from their ipads. Parking is simple enough with self or valet parking. Had the Pork Belly Tacos. Enjoyed the Taro Tortilla. Definitely interested in some of the other dishes another time. Not much beers on tap but a bunch of bottles and selections available. They also have a little more than your standard hards available. Definitely recommend as a place to come watch a game on Saturday or off day. Haven’t been here on Sundays or the typical MNF or TNF yet.

Sports, sports, sports. Multitude of gigantic televisions. Sunday ticket. UFC. Soccer. Poker. Whatever you want to watch, I’m sure they can please your sports addiction. Creative food menu. A decent variety of drinks. MENU They have an inventive menu that consists of basically an international fusion of comfort foods. Bao bun sliders, tators, and seafood prepared in various fun ways. Don’t worry they also have the usual bar foods for the monotonous. We tried the SOFTSHELLCRAB with deep fried bao buns and it was amaze balls! I definitely want to try more food items next time. The STATSRED DRAFTwas smooth and easy to drink. They have a few popular craft beers, but mostly the usual lagers. Full bar. Happy hour is available. SERVICE Very attentive on our drinks. Friendly staff. They gave us extra stats special sauce to dip our delish bao buns in. I was satisfied with the service. LOCATION They are located on Kapiolani Blvd. across the street from 24 hr fitness and near Club Femme Nu(yeah, yeah you know where that is). Super casual, wear your sports gear so you can joke around with the bartender and regulars about which team is better. Clean, lots of seating and a large bar. Darts Live Boards available. Private parking lot in the back, street parking after certain hours. CONCLUSION The stats show this is a cool bar to hang out especially if your are a sports fan. Definitely an upgrade from your divey sports bar. I’m coming back again for Sunday ticket or some sports television event with the hubby.
