Well we’re do I begin!!! This is actually my first ever review I have been a Starbucks customer since 2002, I have 2 Venti drinks per day 7 days per week and so does my wife and kids. This is my second ever bad experience, so irritating that I must write a review. So I’m at this store and after I order my quad expresso with extra ice and milk to the rim they tell me they are out of Venti cups, I ask to make it on a trinte but just add enough to build a Venti size, after the Manager(Jesse) tried to act like I’m trying to get free product the charge me for a late then they tried to charge me for extra milk, I explained that I only want a Venti amount of product and that I didn’t want all the milk he insisted that I paid the extra Then the gal making the drinks made both of my drinks wrong and bam Attitude! Now I’m from Washington state and we love our Starbucks so not really sure why such a bad representation of such a great company!

Worst service I have ever seen ! I asked for the water for my kid before I purchased since the line was very long and told them I will go back and stand in line and buy my coffee right away and they refused! So I had to stand 10min in line and wait another 15min for my order to finally come! So after agonist 30 min of waiting my kid finally got that free water!!! What an aloha!

My husband and I both ordered an iced venti caramel macchiato with four shots. The espresso was clearly watered down as the drink was all white(even after mixing in the espresso). It just tasted like vanilla flavored milk. So we walked back to the counter and asked how many shots were added, since it looked like there was maybe one shot in the drink. The girl making the drink acted like there was nothing wrong with the shade of our drinks. We’ve ordered countless macchiato’s and it has NEVER been watered down like that… She hesitantly said she could add two more shots. So she pulls out two espresso shots that are clearly watered down, dumps them into the cup and the drink is STILL white. Keep in mind, this is a total of 6 shots in one drink now. The barista then admits that she had been having issues with the espresso machine and it wasn’t working right… Ya think? I wouldn’t have given a bad review if they made an effort to give us what we paid for. At least ask us to wait while you fix the espresso machine, or give us our money back since the machine is broken. Instead she just shrugged, and served us watered down drinks and sent us on our way. We ended up throwing away the watered down milk and went to Seattle’s Best down the street.

This is a great location for Starbucks on the corner across from the beach and the zoo. With windows all around and two entrances, the interior feels bright and open, however, I couldn’t fully enjoy it because I spent a fair amount of time standing in line both for my first drink and my refill. I sat down between drinks, but I didn’t find it very relaxing because there was just too much bustle and the music seemed loud. That aside, my coffee was good and the three different people behind the counter who I interacted with were all nice and not a bit snobby. If you’re a Starbucks fan, there are several locations in Waikiki. So if you don’t like this one, you might want to check out some of the others where you can expect to find shorter lines, plenty of seating, and a better environment for hanging out.

I LOVESTARBUCKS! But this location is just a totally different story. First of all, I’m not sure if it’s because many homeless people tend to congregate nearby, but there is no restroom here. Also, service is just simply robotic and inconsiderate. For example, as a gold member, refills on coffee or tea are normal comps at all Starbucks cafes. However, if the interior seats fill up here and you’re forced to sit outside, no more refills for you! That’s right, you MUST remain seated inside at all times or else you’re outa luck. Hot and thirsty for water after swimming at the beach across the street? Forget it! No water available unless you order a cup of Joe to go along with it. Seriously guys. Show some Aloha! This is Hawaii, and your location across from Waikiki beach and the zoo is a place to shine. Not a place to be all uptight and habut. :-(

So incredibly slow. There was a huge line 9 out of 10 times I stopped in. I understand they are on a busy intersection in the middle of a tourist city, but they should anticipate that and staff accordingly. The majority of the staff seemed to be in a poor mood or cranky. Having worked at Starbucks for 5 years I know some days can be stressful, but you need to put on a smile and perform your job with a good attitude. Multiple times my drink got passed over for other beverages or it sat waiting to be made for 5 – 10 minutes. They should have put more than 1 barista on the bar or doing cold beverages than having 2 – 3 baristas wandering around the shop looking for things to clean or put away. On my first day of our 7 day visit they ran out of chocolate powder at the cream and sugar counter. Instead of filling the jar, they put it next to a large tub of chocolate powder. Was it just laziness? I don’t know. On my last day my drink wasn’t prepared correctly. I came back and Bianca was very nice and remade it for me. It tasted perfect the second time. I suggest a simple retraining or reassessment of the managerial staff to properly assign positions during a rush.

I have never experienced such horrible customer service before. I understand that it is super busy and everything but the blonde lady behind the counter named Liz I believe was just terrible She was rude to every single customer that walked up to the counter and kept rolling her eyes at people as if we were disturbing her. Her tone of voice when saying I can help someone over here was snotty and uncalled for. I had asked one of the barista’s who the manager was and I was shocked when they point to her. As a manager you are supposed to be polite and kind and help the customers as well as lead your associates and she was failing to do so. Because of her horrible attitude I will never step foot into this Starbucks ever again.

I love Starbucks, but… Just watched a customer in front of me treated poorly when he asked for something off menu. A kind attitude would have gone a long way, i.e. «I’m really sorry we can’t do that for you. Can we get you something else.» The apparent store mgr(blond ponytail) seemed to enjoy being rude and stated, «we didn’t do it here» in an argumentative way and gave him attitude and was saying something to the barista after which seemed unkind. That man walked out pissed. A man behind me asked for water and the barista told him in a short tone that he had to pay for it and that man was super angry too after stating he’d bought coffee. More training needed in customer service. I’d avoid this place and buy local…

I come here every time I come to Waikiki beach. Great service, upbeat workers who really work together as a team and look like they enjoy working there. Plenty of interaction with the customers. I’m never one to complain, I always take what they give me even if it’s wrong and go about my day. I’ll say it now though, when I asked for a bacon breakfast sandwich, my home starbucks’ always ask which one I’m asking for, but here they just gave me what they assumed I meant(was the wrong one lol) and then today I asked for a caramel frail extra caramel, and he read it out the way I ordered it when calling me to get my drink, but alas, no extra caramel! I’d say great service, work on the details.

Everyone makes mistakes. But when you do don’t make me feel like I made the mistake. Under staffed with attitudes. Why? Maybe because they can. After today I’ll be giving my business to other coffee makers. And yeah I hope that the server and cashier read this. They need to go and work for the prison system where there ruff attitudes will put the criminals in place.

Can’t believe I’m giving any Starbucks two stars, but I was really turned off by my experience here. I would’ve honestly given just one star, but the barista who took my order was friendly. I ordered a venti iced green tea latte. For starters my drink wasn’t even filled to the top. That sounds greedy! I know! But for the price of Starbucks, I expect a full drink, not one that’s missing about an inch off the top. Secondly… The matcha powder was an inch high on the bottom. The barista made no attempt to shake or stir my drink. I worked at a Starbucks for nearly 6 years, so I know this isn’t how it’s supposed to EVER be served. Disappointed by this location. Maybe it was just a bad day for that barista, or maybe he was new… Who knows.

This time of year i love going to Starbucks. I get my favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s served fresh, hot and with a smile from the server. This location was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I got the Kona coffee here as it was a drink I can’t get in California. It takes time for them to make it as it is made per cup. The coffee was very good. The coffee costs more than your regular cup because they use 100% Kona coffee.

Went into this Starbucks two days In a row for my normal chai tea latte and BOTH times they gave me the wrong thing. The first day I was able to catch it before I left site and they gave me a new, correct drink. But the second, I wasn’t so fortunate so here I am with something I don’t want. Wish I could get my money back on that.

Good location. Good view. The space was too small for a location where thousands of tourist walk by a day.

One of my favorite Starbucks. Mostly due to the location. Right near a busy intersection in Waikiki. Close to the beach and the zoo. Plenty of foot traffic which always makes it good for people watching. Surfers, Bikers, Tourists, Locals and just plain good amounts of people strolling along. They have friendly barista’s that keep the long lines moving along. At one point in time, they offered more outdoor seating. They have decreased or eliminated the chairs and tables outside. Possibly due to the chronic homeless people who would loiter in the chairs. If you are on the bus or taking public transportation this Starbucks is right next to a bus stop. Hop off and grab a drink.

Perfect location when I start my walk from one end of Kalakaua at Luxury Row to this Starbucks. Definitely a lot more crowded than the one on Kuhio. One thing I didn’t like are the homeless people sitting around in front on the small pony wall. Other wise the store was neat and clean and the employees are always friendly.

Great location for this Starbucks, right across from Waikiki Beach. Perfect for a quick A/C break from the beach, or to reload the energy level with a little caffeine before heading back out. This Starbucks can get busy, and typically there were lines and a good amount of friendly noise during our visit. But our drinks were well made, so no complaints. Locals are probably used to it, but as a tourist from the mainland I cant get tired of walking into a Starbucks underneath a canopy of beautiful tropical vegetation. You know you are in Hawaii — even at a Starbucks! Gift card collectors take note: if you ask, they do have the Hawaii Starbucks gift card here!
