Mean Korean lady wearing baseball cap: Where are you going??? Me: To my party. Mean Korean lady wearing baseball cap: What party??? Me: Ahhh. My friends and I rented out a room to sing karaōke. Is there a problem? Mean Korean lady wearing baseball cap: Yes there is because I need to know where you are going! Me:(Confused) Did you see me walk out of here? I said hi to you.(Still confused) Mean Korean lady wearing baseball cap: Well show me which room! Me: Ok no problem. BTW it’s night and dark out. Why are you wearing a baseball hat? Definitely not returning here since mean Korean lady ruined my night. Also, their equipment is dated. They play random K-pop music videos that doesn’t even match the music that we were singing.

What a fun Karaōke night at Seoul Karaōke!!! Checking in and getting the room was simple. The room looked like it could hold at least 5 or 6 other people. I was pretty surprised of how much room there was. Perfect for the four of us women dancing and singing the night away. The device to select and play songs was so simple and easy to follow with the play, select, reserve stickers to follow along. Found the videos to go with the songs really funny such as one video was showing a young Asian woman riding a horse with her stares creeping you out. Some of the songs we sang were A thousand miles, YMCA, Because you loved me, Payphone, Pyramid, LOVE, Don’t stop believing, flashlight, The lazy song, without, A thousand years, beneath your beautiful, mirrors, many more songs that I can’t remember. Christmas songs: All I want for christmas is you, Merry Christmas happy holidays, Have yourself a merry little Christmas Japanese pop: BoA Every Heart, Valenti, and Winter love(my two friends who are siblings sang these songs not me nor my other friend). They provide water in their Asian looking container. We drank majority of the water after our voices went gone like that. There were two awkward moments. The Korean lady asked our group if we wanted Chinese song book. Maybe cuz my two friends who are sisters are also part Chinese so the lady assume we sang in Chinese. The korean worker randomly came opening the door only to realize us four ladies were singing away. Not sure if he did not know what we are still occupying the room yet. Maybe there were other groups coming in. Seeing which rooms were still available. Either way we had fun recording our singing on our camera phones and gopro cameras !!!

So much fun! Lots of songs to choose from. And Aunty that was working tonight was so accommodating and sweet! Had a bit of miscommunication when it came down to the rooms and how many people were coming, but it was okay and situation was handled well. Will definitely come more often!

They won’t even let you park. Tried to park but then the attendant ran after me and told me I couldn’t park. That pretty much changed my mind of going there and so I decided to patronize Asahi Grill instead. Crazy.

I’m not sure if this place is usually empty, but when my friends and I went on a Saturday night we had absolutely no trouble getting a room. From what I could tell, there was only one other group of people there at the time. Hmm… not a good sign, especially considering that we just left another karaōke lounge because it was too busy! They gave us a large room which could have seated about 8 – 10 people. There were only five of us… perfect, lots of space! Not the cleanest or nicest… fine. Then we noticed that our controller was in Korean. They added some sticky labels to indicate the«Reserve,» «Start,» and«Cancel» functions; I guess that’s all you really need(in addition to the numbers) despite the hundred other buttons on the thing. They use binders to list their songs, which means that the songs aren’t going to be as current as you’d like.(Especially here, where most of the songs aren’t in English anyway.) So please don’t go here expecting the latest Ariana Grande or Taylor Swift song; you will be sorely disappointed. Then the lights started flickering. At one point it got so bad that I almost thought the bulbs were going to burn out. We noticed that it got worse when the music/our singing got louder.(I’m hoping this wasn’t a sign of how terrible our singing was!) Yeah, they should fix that. Also, the rooms aren’t soundproof… you can hear pretty much everything in the hallways outside the rooms. Keep that in mind before trying to belt out some Mariah Carey. For $ 30/hr for the rooms, I expected more. At least the lady was actually friendly and the yogurt soju was good.

If you want a karaōke room on a Friday night, this is the place to go. I’ve been here many times with no trouble at all regardless of what the other reviews say. IMO if your group isn’t following the unwritten rules(keeping it legal, no rough housing, damage to their equipment etc) I would have a hard time smiling myself. We had a birthday just yesterday and they attended to us quite frequently. Made sure that we had ice water and asked us if we needed more cocktail soju. The song books are pretty clean, no sticky pages like some of the other karaōke places I’ve been to. They also have many popular alcoholic drinks available to you(can’t say if it’s a full bar or not) like soju, beers, rum, vodka etc. Parking is good too. I would definitely come back here again and throw a big party with friends.

This place is nothing but a raunchy, ghetto, cockroach infested joint. They are rude and have absolutely nothing to offer. They also think they own the parking lot, the mall is so busy and you can’t park anywhere because Seoul and Sorabol think they own the parking lot and block out as many other guests as possible to serve their own. This parking lot is for anyone going to the multiple establishments there and not just for them. Seoul puts up cones to block parking stalls in front of their doors which are usually empty because nobody is going in there. Save yourself the time and stay away from Seoul especially if you want Korean food, just go to Sorabol, if there’s no parking, just tell the guy you want to go to Sorabal and they will valet your car even though there is no valet parking, unreal…

Among the Korean community, this is the best Korean karaōke spot on the island. It is about $ 26 per hour. On the weekends(Fri., Sat.), though, during busy hours(8pm-2am), the price increases to about $ 40. Always inquire before reserving a room. The people working there are friendly enough, I guess. Just always be sure to check your bill. They love throwing random service charges(tips) in your bill. Also, take note that there are no prices displayed for anything there.(illegal, I believe) Nevertheless, they do have just about any Korean song you could ask for, old and new.(except for G.O.D. — ?!) They also have a couple of English, Japanese, and Chinese songs.

I walked into Seoul Karaōke with a few of my friends with the impression that it was a clean place with private rooms. I was wrong. There was a strange smell which I can’t attribute to anything in particular(food, drinks, cigarettes, etc.), and the rooms were incredibly warm and you could clearly hear everything else going on outside. The owner(I assume) brings us a water pitcher and glasses, though we didn’t order anything, and I thought it was a free service. I was wrong again. I went outside take a phone call about half an hour into our stay, and the owner asks me how long my friends and I have been here, to which I reply, and a man in his thirties who is standing next to her gets snippy and tells me that we’ve been here for an hour. I argue with him for a little before going back inside and alerting my friends, one of whom goes outside and argues with the man with the owner just watching. The man gets even more sarcastic and has the security videos replayed, much to our amusement, because we had NOT come in at the time he was so adamant about. The prices were outrageous for the terrible service we got, and I would never go back there again, honestly, I don’t suggest going there at any time for any reason under any circumstances.

As much as i LOVE to karaōke, I was not impressed with this place. First of all, if we’re paying for a room, I’d like it to be BYOB. They check your bags for outside alcohol, yet they don’t card you when you order drinks. Hmm??? Anyway, the song selection for English-speakers such as myself is not very good. It’s mainly Korean/Japanese songs. There is a lot of parking though and they do have yogurt soju which is a HUGE plus. Other than that, I can’t see myself choosing this place as my karaōke spot.

Lots of parking, clean, convenient location and the rooms are reasonably priced. They also have all the new korean songs! The only bad thing is it’s located right next to an apartment bldg. There’s a big sign that says«Please Be Quiet». Me and my friends kept getting scolded for talking too loudly. I’ll still go back, though.

The location was really convenient, and we were able to find street parking. After calling other karaōke places, this was the only one that had available rooms on a Friday night. The room they gave us was spacious for 7 people. It was really difficult to find songs in the binder, and most of them were in Korean. There weren’t that many songs in English. The workers didn’t ask us if we needed anything, and we also knew not to ask since there’s a 15% service charge. For one hour of karaōke, our bill was under $ 30. If you’re out just to chill and stuff, this is a good and inexpensive place. But if you really are looking for a great karaōke spot, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Okay. I’m Korean. Contrary to what the other guy was saying, I’ve never had a 15% service fee assessed on the bill. But at the same time, I’ve never paid the bill. So most of the times I’ve went, it’s dead, and I go with my friends to sing my heart out with my Korean songs. It’s cheap and affordable, they have liquor, and they have FLATSCREENTV’s as opposed to those tube ones, it helps to look somewhat new. The only thing that annoys me is when I use the remote to scan for songs, the American listing shows up with Filipino songs, and the American songs and cramped into the Korean ones. If that can be fixed, I’ll give you my I’m a fan 4 stars.

this karaōke joint is right next to sorabol and toho. i am really wishy washy whether or not to give this place two, three, or four stars. i’ve came here twice and i got smart the second time to grab a business card so i could write this review! first time i came, there were ten of us. they gave us a spacious room and tambourines! the guy asked if we wanted any food or drinks and we just asked for water. he gave us a pitcher and cups. the total cost of the room for two hours was a great deal. after all of us pitched in our cash, mama on the counter suddenly adds a 15% service charge out of the blue! WHAT!!! she didn’t say for what but i’m guessing for the ONE pitcher of water the guy had to slave to get for us… ridiculous! second time was another story. just four of us and they still gave us a huge room that could easily fit eight or more. still the same low price and tambourines but this time we didn’t ask for water lol. lo and behold, no service charge! lesson learned? who knows… four stars for the value, huge rooms, and tambourines. three stars for the song selection since it’s limited but there’s lots of korean songs if that’s your thing. two stars for the shady service charge and broken bathrooms the first time i went. 4+3+2 = 9. 9⁄3 = 3. so therefore, 3 stars :)
