Broke my watch. Brought it in for a simple battery replacement and the buttons stopped working. They insisted that their process would not break the button mechanism and thus are not responsible for the repair of the buttons. They refunded my money and took out the new battery they put in. Why I’m not satisfied? Its infinitely more likely that the watch got broken when they opened the back than me setting it on my table. So I’m 95% sure that they are the ones who broke it. They didn’t even at least try to fix the buttons. They just refused to. So now instead of paying $ 20 for a simple battery replacement, now I have to go buy a new watch.

My husband gave me a custom heritage bracelet for Christmas and I love it so much! It is beautiful and very unusual. The engraving is spectacular. It is extra special owning a piece of jewelry that was handmade for me and is one of a kind. Mahalo Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry.

I just went to Royal Hawaiian to have an engagement ring resized(not one that we had gotten from them). They were very helpful both over the phone and in store, letting me know when the jeweler would be in and when the best time to come by was. I just got engaged so I didn’t want to leave the ring for very long, so I was very happy when they said they could get it done that day. I went to pick it up and it looked great and was the size I requested, but when I tried it on it was still a little big. I went home hoping it would work alright, since it was much better than before. I got a call a few hours later from Pat saying he heard my ring was still a bit big on me and he offered to size it down again, no charge. I am very impressed with this level of customer service, since they definitely have no obligation to offer that since they did their work correctly the first time. I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them. I didn’t get a ring from them, but from what I saw in the store they have a beautiful selection. Thank you!

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. Only because I think their hawaiian heirloom selection could be a little bigger. Then again you can get your name(or a phrase) in hawaiian on a bracelet, pendant, or ring so maybe I shouldn’t be complaining! Nel, the saleswoman, was amazing. Very… Very patient with us as we changed the designs(and you get to pick about 6 different styles with each jewelry piece) multiple times and she never sighed or complained. She also gave my husband a great deal on a new wedding band as he lost his on the beach when we were getting married. His wedding band has a turtle(honu) on it with a hawaiian style back ground and engraved inside the ring it says«my love» in hawaiian. Where else could we get a ring like that? Also, I got a beautiful silver bracelet that says«jacki» in hawaiian. It’s been a few weeks and we still haven’t received the items but Nel said that they are having some shows in California this month so it will take 15 business days. I highly recommend her, great prices, great jewelry.

Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry(«RHHJ»). Before coming over to Hawaii, I was advised to get my Hawaiian rings from RHHJ. The lady who advised me had acquired her Hawaiian gold bracelet from this here establishment. I was told to come to the downtown location to purchase my jewelry. Here is the history of Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry from RHHJ’s website: It was quite interesting to learn Hawaiian heritage jewelry started with Queen Victoria of England, according to the first paragraph: «Hawaiian Heirloom Jewelry’s history dates back to England during the Victorian Era, when Queen Kapiolani and Princess Liliuokalani attended Queen Victoria’s Jubilee in 1887. At the Jubilee they were presented with precious solid gold bracelets, with their names cut out in Old English Lettering filled with black enamel. The Queen and the Princess were so enraptured with their unique gifts that they had similar bracelets made for other Royal members upon their return to Hawaii.» Legend has it one of the recipients was a teacher who was gifted by Queen Kapiolani. When the young female students saw the bracelet, they asked their parents to have the gold bracelet with their names to be made for them. These bracelets are given commemorating milestones such as birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, and other special momentous occasions.(Hmmm, maybe a bracelet to commemorate when I graduate from university in a few years from now.) During my visit in Honolulu, I got three rings from RHHJ. I picked up a gold raised engraved ring with«Ku’uipo»(I think it means«My Darling» in Hawaiian.) And I ordered two rings with the Hawaiian name for Chiara(Claire in Italian), both the names«Kalala» and«Kalale» in Hawaiian. They were gold engraved rings with my name engraved, hollowed out, and filled in with black enamel. They were shipped to my home on the mainland from Hawaii. The sales associates there were very friendly and professional. I felt comfortable and welcome there. And for my birthday the following year, La Mère got me my «Kalala» bracelet. So I got my Hawaiian heirloom bracelet in the traditional way: from family. I was informed that RHHJ jewelry is guaranteed for life. And the black enamel is replaced free of charge. Here is more information: I would recommend Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry for a personal souvenir(and as they have said on their website): «It is why the people of Hawaii say, «To own a piece of jewelry from Royal Hawaiian Heritage Jewelry is to own a piece of Hawaii.» Aloha and Mahalo RHHJ. Purchased Hawaiian Heirloom Wedding set over 25 years ago and needed to have my set resized. Met with Jackie at the downtown/factory location on Tuesday, November 20th; she measured me for a new ring size, gave me a quote and said that it would be ready the following Tuesday. Asked about changing the set to platinum, was quoted a price and was told that the set would be ready by Friday, November 30th. I told Jackie that we were on vacation would be leaving on Wednesday, November 28th — I was worried about having it shipped to me in California and she said that she let the jeweler know and that they would try to get it done sooner. On Tuesday afternoon, I called to get a status — they told me that the jeweler was in the final polishing stages and that my rings would be ready by 5:00 pm that evening. I was extremely happy that they were able to get my new set done before returning home. My new rings are beautiful … Thank you RHHJ for the expedited service.

Great quality jewelry at a great price. Stay away from all the expensive spots like Na Hoku & Maui Divers. Good turn around time on engraving & adjustments.
