RNC Towing Service LLC.

It appears as if the quality of service for this company has declined significantly as I had the opportunity to utilize this service today through my insurance company. At 1037 we received a text stating services would be here @ 1207, @ 1143 we receive actual call from the insurance company advising of another 45 minute delay. At this time my husband called the company direct to confirm the status. After that call services arrived around 1:00.
Horrible…and then to top it all off after a discussion began about why we were being charged $ 150 to take a vehicle 8 – 13 miles (the same price they wanted to charge to move it 25 miles) the dispatcher makes a decision to cancel the service and have our vehicle returned to its abandoned location. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and was told HE was out but my information would be passed; strangely enough I get a call back from a lady (who sounded very much like the dispatcher) claiming to be the manager. After a few minutes of conversation consisting of this woman having the same disposition and combative nature as the dispatcher I discontinued the call and requested a new service company. I’ll pay for good service but overpriced services at an exaggerated rate of $ 9.50 is not feasible in my opinion.

Life savers and such NICE guys! Okay, so I got stuck in front of the Pali Highway Tunnel I needed to turn around to go to makai direction towards the west side. When I was coming from the Lookout and winged it and tried to turn around on the median, well it was a careless decision and the repercussions were my car being stuck in the grass/​mud.
Anyways, so I called my insurance road side and they directed me to these guys! I’m glad they did because they were fast, friendly, and efficient! Plus they text/​call :)
The circumstances were kind of bad too, it was raining on and off on the day this happened. The front of my car/​tires was kind of deep into the mud so my tow guy had to go from the back of my vehicle. He called the Honololu Police Department to block off one lane so that I could reverse out. Throughout the whole process my tow guy was so kind and he gave me great communication/​direction.
Even the main dispatcher guy who sends out the jobs was super nice when he was texting me and kept me notified on where his driver was and even came to help his tow guy out. Team work makes the dream work, lol.
If you’re ever in a pinch and need help these are definitely the guys to call! I’m not sure how much they charge because my insurance covers my road side assistance, but they were awesome! If I could I would give them more stars!

I was really stressed out this morning because I needed to get my car towed back to the dealership. I soon got a friendly call from Pasa from RNC Towing letting me know that he was just a few minutes from my house. Once he got here he was pleasant and knowledgeable about vehicles. He asked me to try one more time, to start my car and of course it starts! I apologized to him, because I felt bad for not trying one more time before he made that trip to my house. He was kind and sympathetic to my distress and embarrassment. Needless to say my car is back at the dealership and Pasa was just a pleasure to work with. If all the employees are like Pasa at RNC Towing, I would definitely use and recommend this towing service to all!

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY! Easy money that my insurance use for tow, never use this company ever. Workers that have no idea of there whereabouts of the Island! Hello we live on an Island not on the mainland that you don’t know the location where the client is explaining where the tow is needed. The best part is when they say they will call back after explaining where you needed the tow & they don’t. I had to call them to find out what’s taking so long, only to find out that the job was cancel because they didn’t bother to call & ask where I’m at! Good thing I made the call because if I didn’t I wouldn’t know to make another call to my insurance to send out another towing company. If you planing on going with this company good luck you better off walking or calling friends or family to come & get you!

I don’t write reviews on a normal basis, but I really feel that RNC deserves one. I received amazing customer service, and definitely bookmarked this company in the case that I need another tow, if I lock my keys in the car, or help with a tire change in the future.
As unfortunate as getting into an accident is, it’s a little less bad when you receive good service from someone that comes to help.
Upon initial contact, the man that answered the phone was informative and polite. Service time was within the ETA they gave me upon first contact, and I was very pleased with this. There was also a follow-​up call before Dan’s (the tow person) arrival to confirm location whereabouts, timing, and other related information.
Dan serviced my car for towing, and his people skills, customer service, and efficiency was «on point» for lack of better words. He did his best to be uplifting in an unfortunate situation, and I greatly appreciated it. I know how easy it is to use the first physical person you see as a target or a way to vent after a frustrating situation (ex. Waiting over two hours for a tow when your insurance company didn’t dispatch it out in the first place), but we can fail to realize that these guys «come to the rescue» and help us out whether it be a tow and transportation (like for me) or maybe a tire change, jump start, or retrieving keys after getting locked out.
I just want to say thank you RNC Towing for a great first experience, and thank you to Dan who got the job done and made it a positive outcome.
