Convenient opening hours. My boyfriend is a resident here at Queens, so I often find myself lingering in the lobby waiting for him to be done with patients so we can grab a coffee. 10 pm passes, my stomach is grumbling and sadly, there is nothing in a .5 mile radius. But what’s this?! Gates moving… person gathering things behind the coffee bar… what?! Are you open?! Yes you are. And yes, thank you.

This place doesn’t deserve 1 star, sad to say. Took my nephew there and bought him a ham and cheese sandwich. The bread was hard and old, the lettuce was wilted. Could you believe an establishment within a «healthcare» area would sell old food? Well, what can you do? Its the only eatery in the building.

They have sandwiches, subs, sushi and cold drinks. Also, they serve breakfast and lunch. Fresh Starbucks coffee is brewed all day long.

I like to order their strawberry waffles and guava/piña colada smoothies!

Ladies here are friendly, especially if they know that you work here:) I can see how they can let customer service go down, especially with those customers who aren’t very friendly or courteous. Kinda overpriced for food since everything is ala carte. Coffee is reasonable considering it is Starbucks! Plus, they have a coffee card and once you buy 10 specialty coffees, you get one free, and they mean anyone. So you could buy 10 small latte’s and get a large machiatto!

Located on the street level of POB I(3rd floor). Customer service isn’t the greatest. But I totally understand because it’s usually always busy, especially around 8am. They serve breakfast, along with the normal«we proudly brew Starbucks» pastries and specialty coffee beverages. The mini breakfast consists of rice, scrambled eggs, and your choice of meat: bacon, cornbeef hash, or sausage. The big breakfast comes with fried rice instead of regular white rice. They also have daily specials: grilled ham and cheese, tuna melt, wraps, etc. I frequent this café during the work week(m-f) because it’s pretty convenient for me, as I work in Kam I(on the 1st floor).

Serving Starbucks coffee drinks as well as a variety of pastries and hot food items, the Queen’s Café offers a handy alternative to the hospital’s main dining room /cafeteria. A great choice for a quick breakfast or lunch, or for a comfy air-conditioned place to sip an espresso drink and read the Honolulu Weekly(available right outside). You can also sit at the outdoor café seating just out front of the building. My picks are anything with espresso in it, or the breakfast specials, especially the Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream!
