Pioneer Granite & Marble

The installers Richard and Huu (sorry if I misspelled it) have barely left my unit when I decided to write this review.
They’ve just finished installing a vanity counter-​top for me. which I had originally started out with a different contractor. At first, I was just at their shop to drop off dimensions so they could cut the stone. Pretty straightforward or so I thought.
Kelly, the owner was adamant (at first I thought he was just mad but he’s just passionate) and impressed upon me and my wife that in order for the counter to be cut properly, they would have to come and measure. He educated us about certain details that we hadn’t thought about when I had made the measurements. Kelly recommended that they do the measurement and installation to ensure proper fitment. I told him we would talk to our contractor and call him back with a decision. After we spoke with Kelly, my wife and I felt that he knew his business well and were truly impressed with him. We decided right away to add his services to our budget.
I am happy to say that we made the right decision to go with them. Kelly and his team were ALWAYS on time (rare from my experience with many many other businesses on island) and delivered as promised. In fact, they were able to schedule us in and installed much sooner than I had expected even with their busy schedule.
I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you guys for the efficient and beautiful work!

These people are excellent at what they do and they do it for a good price. They were able to do 45 degree cuts on the edges so that the front of the counter top would look seamless. This is something not to be taken lightly. The 45 degree cut it hard to execute and most companies in hawaii can not offer this technique. They took a lot of care in their workmanship and they even made the cuts in a way that would keep the natural pattern in the granite continuous. When they came over to do the work they were on time, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. They even went the extra mile to match the color of the epoxy and the granite used so that the seam would dissappear.
Overall I am very satisified with them. We saved a lot of money going through this little company. I would and have recommended them to people I know.
We bought a few slabs of absolute black with a honed finish from them for our kitchen.
