I love bringing my son to this park and playground because there is always street parking available, other little kids for him to play with, plenty of shade, and there are bathrooms. He loves going on the swings and playing with the toys during the moms and tots class when they open up the community center. The only downside to this park and reason I didn’t give five stars is because there is barely any seating. Literally one bench and one table.

Took the dog and son out here. We got to meet a few other people who were walking their dogs too. Not a fan here, but you can see a nice sunset. After it gets dark, a lot of weirdos come out from nowhere, so it’s a good idea to leave or go to a park that is safer(more people around).

This is a great place to bring kids if they like playgrounds and swings. My mom used to bring me here all the time when I was little to play in the playground. There’s a little rec center in the middle of the park. On one side is a big open field where people usually have family picnics or BBQs and the other side of the rec center has a little playground and swing set for the little kids to play on. Now that I’m older I come with my almost 2 year-old niece. She LOVES to play in the playground, go down the slide, and swing on the swings! You can also see the giraffes and zebras from the Honolulu Zoo across the street. The playground itself might be a little run down looking, but it’s still in good condition. Around lunch time, the playground gets a little crowded but for some reason today(Wednesday), it wasn’t crowded at all. So maybe it’s a hit or miss with the kiddie crowd. The only thing I don’t like about this place is the homeless. Beware of the homeless that hang out near the rec center. They’re usually harmless so you don’t have to worry too much but just watch out. And parking is fairly easy to find. There’s parking alongside the park.
