Oahu Massage Service

It’s very difficult to schedule. I had an appointment and I get a text message that day that he has to reschedule. So I rescheduled the next week. Same thing happened, he had to cancel. It happened a third time. He has various excuses — babysitter for his kid, a cold, back spasms. After canceling three times it’s difficult to believe… It was hard enough to get an appointment, too and then he cancels on me three time. I had bought a groupon so I am seeking a refund.

I was recently given a groupon gift for a massage with Mike at Oahu Massage Service. I was excited to go because it was a 90-​min massage and it had been a long time since my last. The groupon must have been very popular because I didn’t get an appointment for about 4 months later, but it was worth the wait.
The location of Oahu Massage Service is on Cooke Street in the Nueve Salon. There was lots of parking in the adjacent lot and just a quick walk up to the 2^nd story. The reception area is very clean and basic. The receptionist was expecting my arrival and I only had to wait a short few minutes before being greeted by Mike and was asked to fill out a patient record form.
Mike was very courteous and asked if there were any questions or problem areas before starting. There was a little chit chat at the beginning of the massage and I was soon in relax mode. My only complaint is there was some ongoing construction nearby which brought me back to reality a couple times. Also, the flooring is laminate and you can hear the creaking and cracking every time someone walked by in the hallway. That’s incidental though… the massage itself was great.
Mike has strong hands and used lots of pressure without fade. Don’t you hate it when the therapists fizzle out and you end up just getting leaned on towards the end? None of that here.
