I haven’t seen them to do my nails for a while now but Jhon and Kay was the best Nail Magician (i call then magician because they do nails like magic) LOL
I love them seriously because they never ever fail my expectations.
I went to their Salon last minute like 10minutes before they close but they still gratefully let me in even though they supposed to be close and go home get some rest but no they serve the costumers first.
Kay (John’s wife) was really really nice. She did my nails and she’s the best. I can’t find anyone do good better than them. My nails is looking so cute specially the accent. I love it.
The area was so clean, looks accommodating overall is a A+++++ 5 stars good job you guys!

Inexpensive, out of the way place. I have been twice and the quality of the pedicure was consistant but there was a huge difference in the way they did it the two times. First time the manicurist was fast and efficient. No water, no fuss. Although I did not time it I’d say I was in and out in 30 minutes.
Last time the manicurist took about 45 minutes used the water made it too cold and had to redo and seemed to make the whole procedure more complicated, having to handle my feel lots more and took more time. I finally noped out when we had not even started on the finger nails, which I told her in the beginning that I wanted buffed only. As she was finishing up the toes she said to me you want the same color on the fingernails, right? NOPE. Then came the instructions – Just skip it I said. So I paid and left. Decided to give a try to doing my own nails, I am not sure if my fine-​coordination will allow it while bending all the way down to my toes, but I guess I’ll find out.

I posted a couple of designs (rose and plumeria) that are available at nail zone. They have very talented nail artists available for just about any design you wish.
I’ve been going to this company for over 6 years and I continue to recommend it to my friends and anyone else I meet who expresses their interest in a mani /​pedicure. I’ve even got my husband getting pedicures here. Jon and Kay owners of the shop as well as all the members of the team are very friendly and welcoming. Walk-​ins are always welcome but they do get really busy so if you’re sure you want a service done I would recommend giving them a call for a reservation. It’ll be worth the visit.

I’ve been to countless nail salons in all different states and countries but I have to say that nail zone is in my top three. After scuba and spending time at the beach all day, my nails were in terrible shape. Called first thing in the morning and was able to make a reservation for my sister and I. The salon is located inside an older building with other offices. We had pictures of what we wanted and out nail technicians or «artists» completely surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be returning during our next Hawaii vacation.

Go Nail Zone! Did nails for my six year old and lovely wife. Will go again! Very weird location on the 6^th floor but nice view of Santa Claus and his reindeer running up a building roof antenna in the distance.

Love this place. Been coming for years. My gels last longer than any other place I’ve tried. And the staff is super nice and friendly.

I received a great deluxe pedicure and friendly service! My husband enjoyed his pedicure experience also. I will certainly come back next time I visit Oahu. The salon was a little hard to find but well worth it.

I LOVE Nail Zone. I’ve been coming here for over two years. I’ve tried other nail salons but this is the best I’ve found. My nails never chip with the polishes and products they use. They are also the best at designs. They have hundreds of examples of designs to choose from. Today I picked a design from the Internet and they made a perfect replica. The chairs are comfortable. Don’t be discouraged by the toothpaste green building or small elevator. Once you are in the salon you will feel welcomed by their friendliness.

3 stars for an over all good gel set ! Minus 2 stars for an awkward and questionably
dirty place. It’s a studio apartment transformed into salon… I mean. Waikiki is a trip but if you’re going to pay at least enjoy the experience. My set looks good. But be in for a strange time!

True, the building is less than desired, but don’t judge a book by its cover! The salon is bright and cheery with relaxing massage chairs for the pedicure. This might be the only time I have never been talked into the Deluxe Pedicure from any salon I’ve visited. I am happy for that! I just wanted a simple pedicure and it was well done and exactly what I wanted. The cost is so reasonable especially being so close to resorts and expensive spas. Thank you for a nice pedicure!

Overall, my experience here was great! The place is a bit hard to find on your own, but the ladies working there are usually passing out flyers on Kuhio, so if you let them know you are interested, they will take you.
They do spend a good amount of time on you. I got a gel mani and pedi with 2 designs and I was there for almost 2 hours, so I guess you get your money worth.
Prices I would say is a bit expensive. However, I’m from the 626 in Cali, so nails and such are super cheap there. For Waikiki, the prices are reasonable.

I had a nail break while here on vacation and got a last minute appointment for a fill. John did my nails and he was very nice and did a great job! I was super nervous because I haven’t gone to a new nail salon in over two years. He was upfront about the price, no surprises. It was very affordable and high quality! Definitely would go again if I lived here I would highly recommend this place!!! Seriously just go here!

Wow, this place is a hidden gem. I got probably the best pedi that I’ve had in years and the price was very good too.
I’m glad I read some of the earlier reviews about the salon being quite nice or the entry way, elevator, and hallway getting up there would have totally put me off. The place is bright, and clean (spotless really). The techs are terrific. Can’t think of a single bad thing to say about this place other than the less than lovely building.

I visited this salon when I first moved here and they were located in the mall above P.F. Changs: at that time I enjoyed my mani/​pedi but it chipped just 2 days later. The salon was crowded but open and airy and everyone was so nice I gave them 4 stars.
But… when I took a visiting friend recently, I found their move hasn’t done them any favors. The cramped little room, which looks like a converted apartment, is in a sketchy-​looking building and up the world’s oldest elevator. It’s not charming and cozy; it’s just small and cramped, and it felt like we were on top of the other people getting their manis. We just had a view of another building (pedis) or their lunch closet (manis), and no tv or music to distract you.
Unfortunately, I think if you’re looking for a place to treat and impress and friend with some nail time, this isn’t the place.

The place is tucked inside a plaza on the 6^th floor. It feels a bit sketchy in the building, but once you’re in the salon, it looks like any other nail salon.
Service was great and staff was friendly. Prices were fair and much cheaper than the hotels’ salons. I got a spa pedicure and gel manicure while my fiancé got a foot massage. It was nice to have the foot massage option cause I didn’t feel bad for making my fiancé wait for me to get my nails done.

Have been stopping here once or twice a year for 6 years. I started to drag my son over– we were both a little behind in the toenail maintenance department. I walked all over Seaside Av and finally gave up.
Luckily we ran into Yuki handing out flyers on Kalakaua– she walked us over to the NEW LOCATION. I was so relieved I hadn’t lost my mind.
There Monica and Yuki gave us the best deluxe Pedicures Ever. 5 stars –totally worth searching around. It’s in an office building of an alley on the 6^th floor.
Recommend without reservation.

This is hand down my favorite nail salon. John & K are the owners and both fabulous nail technicians always listen and truly want to make sure you are more than satisfied before you leave their salon. I like to her nail art and this is definitely the place to go! Very fair pricing every color/​charm/​design you can think of. Even if your going for a simple mani/​pedi you will love the experience!

This place is a hidden gem! I came here on short notice and was also late by 10 minutes, but everyone was still really nice and polite. The outside of the building is a bit shabby, but inside it’s refreshing. It’s only a short walk from the beach so it was extremely convenient.
I forgot to ask for the name of the person that worked on my nails, but she was really charming and sweet. I believe she was Japanese. I cannot describe how much care she did for my nails and she was also pretty talented on drawing details on my accent nails.
The pricing for gel isn’t expensive considering the quality (I’ve had these for a while now and they haven’t even chipped! Btw I’m also very rough so that’s pretty impressive). I remember that gel runs around $ 40 and $ 5 per nail for designs. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality work on a budget.

Nail zone is one of the best nail salons I have been to they are so friendly I got a manicure and a pedicure very good prices.

Van did an amazing job on my pedicure and gel manicure, she’s a perfectionist! And Kay added a super cute flower design (so I can advertise my Hawaiian spa day when I get home).
Central location (though they’re moving to a new spot nearby) and they called in a technician so I wouldn’t have to wait. Keep an eye out for advertisement (and a coupon) wheeling up and down the strip!
