Great people and good food! They give out sample and the food looks clean and fresh! Highly recommended if you are here for lunch and want quick fast food Chinese! They even gave me a little extra to try!

Great Chinese take out while in Ward Warehouse. Plenty of fast ordering choices and the amounts are generous. They are so so nice!

They got me with the good free sample. I had some complaints at the start: they have no free water(which I believe is a law to provide diners), and only take cash. Any well established business should always take a credit card, otherwise the only excuse is an effort to maximize profits at the expense of the customer. The pork and chicken quality were only okay. The positives: ample portion sizes, good value, and good taste. Not the greatest, probably wouldn’t eat again.

The woman serving us was really nice! Letting us try samples of the food and answering questions. The food was pretty good, it was at the standard of good take out Chinese food. We had the orange chicken and mapo tofu. The price was decent.

Service: Excellent! The women & man(I assume are the owners of the place) helped me, they were so so so nice!!! She gave me a sample of what I wanted to try, and he helped take my order lol, he was all smiles and was joking with me, they were just so cute! Haha. Food: I had the orange chicken/pork, lemon chicken & stuffed eggplant. I really liked the lemon & orange chicken. I didn’t love the eggplant but it was still good. I also got to try the string bean chicken and that was awesome I wish I grabbed that instead lol. The crispy gau gee was okay. They could add a little more meat tho lol! Still good none the less. Over all, even if your not in love with the food here, which I higher doubt. Definitely come back cause the service is good, and not much places will treat you with such kindness :)

Came to Ward warehouse, to get my slippers at Ultimate Foot Store and decided to eat lunch, while me & my boyfriend are here. Decided to try out this Chinese food. The lady was really nice, and made us sample almost the whole carte. The food are full of flavor! And every plate comes with a free gua gee, but the thing is it was a but small and the meat was very portioned. Overall, there a lot of seating and space to eat.

I love coming here when I’m at Ward. The reason why I do is because of the bomb customer service the owner gives me. She is such a sweet lady & is always smiling. I don’t know about you, but someone who loves and appreciates their food is someone worth trusting to eat their food. My favorite is the string beans and chicken. OMG i get it all the time. They always put a little bit of something else into the plate just so we can taste something different of theirs & they always add a gaugee. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in ward.

The food is typical local, Cantonese mall fare, but Mrs. Egg Roll classes up the joint with her star smile, her penchant of waving«hi» to everyone, and her enthusiastic sampling habits! Somebody give Mrs. Egg Roll her own show already!

I decided to come here for lunch today after hearing rave reviews from one of my friend. Initially I was greeted by a very bubbly lady who was handing out samples. I ordered a mapo tofu plate for $ 6.25 without tax. Even though I knew what I I wanted for lunch, the lady taking my order still insisted on taking a sample. :) The mapo tofu was alright; it came with a plateful of rice, cubes of tofu, a brown gravy, and cubes of carrots. I was a little disappointed that it was vegetarian, but it was worth the under $ 7 I paid for it. I’ve had better, but I would come back for the service alone!

Recently ordered their Mapo dofu with meat(additional $ 2, huh?). I would assume mapo dofu/tofu comes with ground beef or pork by default but they give you a huge serving of cubed tofu and white or brown rice and sauce only. So was the extra cost worth it? Yes in that they give you a lot lean minced beef rather than just grounded beef. 4 stars for the huge portions to make it worth it. Good flavor to the sauce though their spicy version could stand to be a tad bit more spicy but no real complaints here. If you’re looking for no frills take out this place can fill that niche.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but my oh my I thought it was delicious! My boyfriend and I were strolling through the shopping center and got a little hungry. While we were looking at the menu, the very bubbly cashier gave us at least three free samples each! And let me tell you, I love me a free sample. We shared a plate and am I glad that we did! For only $ 7 you get a meal for at least two! The plate was huge and had four different dishes on it. I am a fried rice stickler and it takes a lot for me to like fried rice. While it still wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, that is at a Chinese restaurant in Washington, it was in the top five. Which is saying a lot coming from me! Next time we are close by we will definitely be stopping again and hopefully for some more free samples!

This place is easy to over look, if not for the helpful reviews from Unilocal.Mr. Eggroll is located in the food court at Warehouse in a small kiosk. This is the best value for lunch! Order the one choice entrée, which comes with choice of fried rice or noodles and a crispy gau gee. The owner usually provides a little sample of a second choice entrée to keep you coming back. I love the stuffed eggplant entrée, which isn’t always available. The stuffing is a tasty fish cake, smoothered under a spicy black bean sauce. All of this for under $ 6!

Lured here from the lady yelling behind the window giving samples, I picked up lunch from here. Really nice lady… Actually this place is pretty reasonable in price. Similar to Panda Express, with less choices. I had the 2 choice: black bean chicken with string beans, and char siu. It came with your starch which I chose ½ chow funn and ½ chow mein. Not really greasy, like Panda can get. The char siu just came out of the oven(that’s why I chose it), and it had this really nice honey glazed shine on it. It was juicy, sweet, and delicious! The lady also threw in a piece of the sweet sour spare rib for me to try as a bonus. This was a little tough and stringy — probably why she gave it away for free. After I paid for my $ 7 lunch, the lady said, «Ok, see you tomorrow!» As if I come here all the time??? Not too bad, but I was waaaayyyy thirsty after eating my lunch!

Good food at a reasonable price. Standard casual chinese food. Good if your at Ward warehouse, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. We’ve passed by it for a number of years and just recently decided to give it a shot. Not a bad option if you get the sudden craving.

Yay for tiny mom/pop shops in Ward! This is a small chinese take out place at the end of ward warehouse«food court». It’s run by a nice chinese woman, who always entices me with the smell of the food and her kindness. I usually get a mini plate here, with noodles and the chicken w/bean sprouts! Super yummy! She also gives me a couple pieces of orange chicken as well and a crispy gau gee! It’s tasty and not filled with that MSG flavor that you get with like panda express or other chain take out fast food chinese places. They only take cash here, but a lot of the places nearby only take cash too. There are lots of places to sit down around the area as well.

I can’t believe I forgot this little gem! I felt like I was going back home. They are just such lovely people. I absolutely adore the lady who works there. Such a sweetheart and encourages my spicy loving. The food is delicious, generous and affordable. The eggplant melts in your mouth. I wish they had more vegetable dishes is the only negative I can think of. Not as many choices as places like the generic Panda Express but still I would take this over that any day.

Mr. Eggroll deserves a five-star The Good: * Their food is like what they offer at Panda Express but BETTER * I will always support local vendors than franchise so that’s why I go here more than Panda Express * The lady that works here is always SO happy. I love her. She makes me want to come back and visit her all the time :) :) * PRICES are ridiculously affordable. And she LOADS your plate. Foreal. Deals man! * All their plates come with a fried wonton thing :) Yum The Bad: * Lately there has been alot of bums hangin’ out at the Ward area… smelling them while I eat isn’t exactly a pleasant experience… The Weird: * My bf told her that we are brother and sister after she totally saw me kissing him on the cheek and sh! t. goshhhh.

Move over Panda Express. Mr. Eggroll can show you what’s up. Haha but in all honesty, I definitely prefer Mr. Eggroll over Panda anyway. This place is located with the small food booths by the stage at Ward Center. The food is pretty tastey and the lady that works there is really nice! Can’t complain. She likes to offer samples of food everytime I go and suggests new items for me to try! I would recommend the chow mein, beef brocolli and szechuan eggplant. Yummmmy. The portions are very large and each plate is pretty reasonably priced. Plates also comes with a gau gee and a little side portion of another menu item if I remember correctly.
