MNT Window Cleaning

I called at the beginning of the week to set up an appointment and to get a quote (originally $ 125.00 then lowered to $ 99.00) to clean 2 windows (1 sliding, 1 stationary) in my apartment (I used to clean them myself but living on the second floor, it involved standing on the ledge to clean the stationary window and since injuring my knee my family was adamant that I hire someone to do the cleaning). I spoke to Mark and he said he would call me the next day to confirm, then he said he would be at my apartment on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. so I gave him my address and the parking stall number for him to park. Saturday arrived, so I prepared the area for him but he never showed up. I tried calling him but the answering machine was not accepting messages. After reading the excellent reviews here, I expected him to at least call if he wasn’t going to make it. I am wondering why the reviews were so good yet he did not even give me the courtesy of a call that he wasn’t coming or at least the ability to leave a message (which gives me the impression that a whole lot of people were trying to reach him but to no avail). In my mind this is not a good place to do business and I do not recommend this business to anyone. A very disappointing experience. I am hoping that there is another company who will be more credible and reliable.
UPDATE:
12÷9÷15 Mark did call (and texted) me today to apologize and explain what happened (The busy Thanksgiving period and helping a sick friend). I think it takes a lot of guts to personally call someone to make amends for something promised that was not delivered. He offered to do the windows for free which was extremely generous. Perhaps I will give him another try the next time my windows are dirty and need some cleaning. Ive changed my rating based on his call because that really impressed me.

Mark was so helpful and the cleaning of my windows and screens was the best I ever had on this island. He was meticulous and took his time. Very professional. He cleaned my mirrored doors too. Very reasonable. I will call him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone!

We’ve been using Mark for years. Simply the best on the island and one of the nicest person’s ever. Thorough and detail oriented. The windows always look factory new. He will also point out any potential problems, like ants, seals failing, etc. Great service… cannot recommend enough.

MNT Window Cleaning is AWESOME! I received a same day quote and they were able to schedule my window cleaning fast (within two days)! He had a great special of $ 199 for 25 windows or less — What a a deal!!! Marc the owner arrived as scheduled and was super friendly. He worked hard cleaning the inside windows, tracks and all my mirrored surfaces before moving outside. He cleaned the screens and made each window sparkling clean. He made sure that he did not get anything wet and was very cautious about wiping up after he cleaned each window. He noticed that a few windows had water spots but he did not push that service on me. He let me know what it might cost if I wanted to purchase that in the future. I would highly recommend this small local business — he truly emulates the true definition of small business owner with great prices and service!!! I have had my windows cleaned before but was overcharged and the job was not nearly the job MNT Window Cleaning completed!!!
