Our favorite place to take our girls for post-haircut playtime. Play area?. .. YEP!!! Happy meals for the rugrats?. .. YEP!!! Free refills on drinks?. .. YEP!!! Restrooms that are reasonably clean?. .. Yes(please wash your hands people). We don’t typically spend too much time in the play area when we’re here, but on this occasion the girls were having a blast playing with two boys and didn’t want to stop the fun. They even politely asked for time extensions(numerous times). Being the great dad that I am, of course I obliged. 3 stars — because, based on numerous visits, cleanliness can seem to be an issue. Also, on other occasions, older kids were running unsupervised through the play area, making it genuinely dangerous for smaller children. Fortunately, neither were the case on this visit.

I knew about the airport location McDo on Paiea/Nimitz airport side so much that I forgot about this one. This location is actually closer to the NEX near where all of the other stores, shops, and restaurants are located. You can get here from all kinds of ways like from Pearl Harbor side, Nimitz freeway side, salt lake side, etc. side. There is a decent amount of parking near the restaurant and there is a lot of other parking around the shopping area complex. It is a decent sized McDo. There is a decent amount of table and seating areas inside. I came here one time in the morning and it was kinda busy. However, I do not really come here often so what do I know haha. The staff and customer service is aight. I am not even going to talk about the food because we should all know that and stuff. One thing is for sure, I love the Mc Chicken sandwiches from the dollar menu. But now it is like $ 1.19. It is actually kinda stupid how McDo has a dollar menu with items that aren’t even exactly that!

I typically come here during the day but tonight was the first time coming here at this time, 10:30 pm, and it was the worst experience ever!!! The order was wrong and the manager was terrible. We waited at the drive through window for over 20 minutes and noone was in the store waiting in line. I could see 4 workers and the manager chatting away while we wait. Got our food it was cold and the manager had no care in the world!!! If it weren’t for the playground that I bring my kids to play and snack after school I would give this place a 1 star. They need to fix the night shift and I will return to get the managers name. Better yet this place is getting a 1 star come to think of it, just plain rude!!!

The manager that took my order this morning needs to smile more and not just go through the motions and just take orders. Maybe that’s all she did to get to where she is at now. Needs more customer service!

Only indoor play area in town for my kids to play and have breakfast while we wait for pigtails and crewcuts to open. But seriously managers and workers need to check their attitude! Like seriously if they Hate their JOB. QUIT!!! With shitty attitudes like that their better off standing on the side of the road yelling at themselves!

Waited for 9 minuets for a 10 piece nugget cheese burger plain a shamrock shake mocha frappé and a small fry. When we pulled up to the window we sat there for 4minuets with our food sitting there everything getting cold. A few girl employees were inside just talking to each other while our drive thru person was running around trying to get everything. This isn’t the first time we ordered here and got sub-par food or service. And when I have asked many times for them to replace fries because they were cold and I only get attitude.

I’m pretty sure the employees that work here don’t know what the egg white delight sandwich is. On more than two occasions I’ve ordered the egg white delight with regular bacon not the Canadian patty bacon. Every time I order the egg white delight they’ve given me a sausage biscuit. Sigh. I would avoid this McDonald’s if you can.

When you go inside at 5 am one expect to smell the coffee or eggs mcmuffin not a backed up sewage smell permeating the entire facility and making you gag. How no one from worker to manager did not notice the god awlful smell is beyond me

Always good service. I usually stop in for a hazelnut iced coffee, and it’s always delicious. The staff is friendly, and the place is kept clean. My only complaints are the parking(not much to do about that) and the bees in the drive thru area. I’m fatally allergic, and so have started going in, as to not fear for my life while trying to just get a coffee. Lol.

I just wish there was more parking laid out for McDonald’s at this location. But the drive through goes pretty fast which is a blessing considering its probably one of the most busiest McDonald’s ever!!!

I came here since they had a playground for kids. Staff was not overly friendly and fries were old. Playground was decent since it was lunch time and there was an employee cleaning it while I was in there. On the plus side they now have gogurt to choose from from the kids meals. I asked for apples and gogurt instead of fries.

This drive thru has only 1 drive thru lane as opposed to some of the other locations. You need to come with patience, air conditioning, and good music. For some reason this drive thru locations wait time is long. If I didn’t have an infant with me I’d walk in which would in my opinion be faster. The ordering process had some miscommunication, but with a little tweaking she got it right. Got up to the window and the process was smooth. Went to the next window to pick up my order and that went well. However, by the time I got to my food it wasn’t as warm and fresh as it can be, especially the french fries. Nothing is worst then having your drink watered down. Yet, that’s what you get with long waits. I’m hoping they can improve the time and possibly place another order menu at the front of the drive thru, so people can decide before they drive up to order. Now wouldn’t that be nice and more efficient.

I don’t go here that often anymore but every time I’ve been here they’ve made a mistake with my order. EVERYFRIGGIN’ TIME. Never fails, consistent irritation and disappointment, which is why if I do go to McD’s, it’s not this one.

I only come here for the play place so my 2 year old can burn some energy off when the weather isn’t the greatest but this will be the last time we come. The play place is always dirty with trash, food and drinks on the floor. Finger and hand prints all over the look out holes on the play place. Parents don’t watch their kids so it’s noisy craziness. So far the service has been ok. But they could work on customer service more.

obviously dining at McD’s means I needed a cheap, convenient, unhealthy, totally guilty pleasure and fast meal on the go. I admit I love the fries. The fries alone keep me coming back for more, no matter what location I visit. damn fries! Must be laced with crack or something.(I kid! I kid!) I’m easy to please and my go-to order is simply the 2 cheeseburger meal. I don’t need the fancy buns or condiments. Just the«all beef patty, special sauce pickles onion on a sesame seed bun» YEAH! Who remembers that one. In this particular visit I was treating my teen to lunch to-go after a morning appointment. I mean, what better way is there to buy friends than to stroll into class with a big bag from McD’s filled with nuggets & fries!!! Oh yeah buddy, mom of the year award goes —[ right here ]— LMAO the frappuccino from Sbux was just icing on the cake. Now for me, extra zumba class this week for those fries. *sigh*(I’ll be back next month McD’s)

yes– others know that this is MCD but if you are a 4 year old this is the best place ever. One word– Birthdays! They have birthday parties every now and then and it is all about the birthday boy or girl– they get to play with their friends and it is cool to have it all about me.(for a 4 year old). They love to play and get to eat ice cream and I just remember being a kid too and getting to do all that stuff. ahhhh The staff are really helpful for birthdays and check on them really more than I remember as a kid. Service in the restaurant is hit and miss– some workers are great and wonderful and some are at minimum wage because it seems like they have to be working there. The food is food. not much there different than anywhere else.

My favorite Mcdonaods to bring my kids too. Not only are they ALWAYS clean I when we visit but I like the fact that their play area is indoors. I don’t have to worry about my kids sweating from the sun but there’s AC. Only downfall is it does tend to get super cold. Lol

KIDSPARTIES! Remember when McDonalds had birthday parties available? Maybe you even had your birthday party at one. This McDonald’s actually still offers this! Great for kids birthday parties! And they have an indoor playground available! I had my son’s birthday party here 2 years in a row! That’s how much he had fun! So did his friends! Their parents were able to sit down, relax and eat their meal with their kids in eye view. PARTYINFO $ 75 for 10 children.($ 8 for additional children.) This includes a reserved area for 2 hours, birthday sign, special hat for bday child, happy meals, goody bags, and dessert for the kids! For adults, you just pay for the price of their meal(they give you slips of paper for the adults to fill out in the beginning). The downside is that the times available are a little inconvenient which are at 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, &6:00 pm. You can bring your own cake. No Mylar balloons. ENVIRONMENT This McDonald’s is located in the Moanalua Shopping Center near the Navy Exchange area. HUGE playground.(this will tire them out for bedtime, hehe) SERVICE Not bad. It can be a little slow and check your food orders, but they are willing to fix it. So decent enough. Hey as long as the kids have fun, they won’t notice. TIP When your are RSVP’ing for your childs bday have the kids choose their happy meal and let the manager know that day, so it can be ready ahead of time. CONCLUSION It’s still a fun, affordable party for your child! Yes, I will come back here when my 2nd child gets older!

2.5 Stars, rounded down for the service. This is one of the last McDonald’s around with a play land. Visit most days during the lunch rush and you will find a small group of children climbing through the tubes and tossing their happy meal toys through the mesh safety nets. The parents talk or read, happy to ignore the inherent hygiene issues in a two story series of tubes, and happy to let the kids run and jump and scream to their heart’s content. Luckily for the non child toting diners, the playground has its own seating area behind heavy glass, so we can see them, but hear only muted sounds. It has managed to survive the latest batch of updates but I wonder how long that will last. This is a busy location, and the confusing double drive through system that the McDonald’s Cooperation seems to be set on trying would be hard to resist. The confines of the parking lot, coupled with the needs of a busy shopping center might change this location drastically. I can only hope that they keep the play area, as it is really the only reason to pick this location over the others nearby. The staff here are a haphazard group. It almost seems as though the workers here are in training, and are sent to other locations as they become proficient in their jobs. I’ve ordered iced coffee and had hot coffee handed to me, mayo left on when I asked for it to be removed, and have been disappointed by the general cleanliness of the dining area and the restroom. I return more often than I would like because the drive through is on my daily commute, and the need for coffee wins over most other things. All in all, well, it’s a McDonald’s. The food is predictable, but the service drags this location down. 31 Unilocal Review Challenge 2⁄31
