Came here for lunch. Tiny little joint with quite a few fish dishes, mainly catering to Japanese tourists. Portions are not very big(Did I mention they cater to Japanese tourists :-) ?) but prices are very reasonable and food is tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Needed to hydrate during our Waikiki adventure randomness and Unilocal lead us here where we got their Lychee boba tea and Coconut boba tea. OMG! Refreshing Deliciousness!!! Blended tea to a shake consistency. May have to get more.

My husband surprised me with their delicious crepes and loco moco one Saturday afternoon. It was so good, I had their crepes again later that night. Yep, I have a thing for custard and whip cream filled crepes. Very affordable and delicious! I wanted to post a picture but I ate it before I could take a picture. Doh!

I don’t think this place is even worth 1 star. I’ve seen pictures of crepes here and it looked really pretty. So I told my bf lets come here. When we got there, we asked the cashier about the crepes. She said they ran out of cream for the crêpe so she called someone from another place to make cream. within 10 minutes. I wanted to order the custard cream crepes… they don’t have custard. So I ordered the poi ball dessert instead. and they don’t have it. Wtheck! How can you run out on a Sunday at 12PM? There wasn’t even customers when we got there. So I just ordered the bean jam(azuki bean) cream crêpe. $ 6.13 with kamaina discount(10%). After sitting down and waiting for the crêpe there was a couple who came to order a steak bento. After she paid for her meal, the cashier called the person who makes the food to put in the order. She told her they’re out. The cashier didn’t offer to refund their money, she asked if they wanted an old bento that was just sitting there for a day probably. Another tourist couple came and wanted to order the ahi steak. They’re out too. What kind of place is out with everything?! The couple decided to order the crêpe instead since no ahi steak. They didn’t look amazed by the crêpe after eating it. The cashier didn’t even give them the ice cream like we did. You have to ask for it. I felt so bad for the tourists. This place has such horrible service. My bf and I didn’t feel like even wanting to wait for the crêpe they were still making for 15 minutes. So I went up to ask if they didn’t make it, I want a refund. But it came out before I said anything. Fine, we’ll eat it. Then we realize there wasn’t any ice cream with it. She said it was included before I ordered it. So I had to go up and ask for my ice cream. She bought it out(2 – 3 mini scoops of ice cream in a cup) and apologized. Well, at least she said sorry. The taste of the crêpe was ok. It was rolled into a cone with cream and azuki filling. They make their own heavy cream. It was interesting they have azuki in crepes. It was okay… taste was nothing special. Ice isn’t soft serve like it was written on the board. It tasted like it was from a safeway ice cream product. Actually I think it was! My bf was so disappointed with the experience. Maybe I should have suspected it fishy when there was only 3 reviews… I’ve been fooled! Sigh!

A new Japanese obento shop with good food and reasonable prices. Their ginger pork was good with tender pieces of meat, good sides, and even came with soup. Also tried their pre-made bento box(fried fish and oyster combo) which was super filling, yummy, and priced nicely. Finally, I’ve tried their musubi which were big, fresh, and with tons of filling. Yep, I liked them so much I went 3 days in a row. It’s nice to have affordable delicious food options for those of us who work in Waikiki. They also have a kama’aina discount(just ask).
