I’m going to give this office 2 stars, because I received this award and I am grateful, but their organization is HORRIBLE.
It’s hard to get appointments so that you know what obligations you have in order to obtain this scholarship. They’re terrible at emailing participants back and even on missed phone calls.
They give you contact emails and numbers, but the workers hardly ever get back to you. I went in to schedule my appointment and on the day of that appointment they sent a mass emailing telling everyone that the center was closed for that day and that I’d have to call to make an appointment.
The trouble with that is I TRIED repeatedly to call the student worker Māhealani to make an appointment via phone with one of their employees but she never got back to me. Then when I went in they cancelled my appointment. Now I have to go in just to schedule ANOTHER appointment because I don’t wana be given any run arounds.
They need to tighten up big time on organization and communication with each other and to their participants. It might be because they’re short staffed, but this was by far the worst time I’ve had trying to schedule anything.
